Similan & Surin Islands adventure
Unfortunately we missed out on any Whaleshark and Manta action, however still had a great overall experience on the MQ7. We were very well looked after by all of the dive guides, trip leader (Georgio / JZ) and especially the amazing Alyssa Mitchell. Alyssa was amazing spotting very hard to find marine creatures and allowing us to get up close for a look and photos if we wanted them. Alyssa supported us in obtaining NITROX certification and developing our skills to make best use of our ability and certification to experience the very best of each dive site. The Captain was humble and highly skilled, getting us over each site everytime and quickly retrieving us with prompt assistance from the boat crew. There was a variety of delicious food served after each dive, and plenty of water and electrolytes available to keep us hydrated.

Outstanding liveaboard - exceeded my expectations!
From start to finish, this company does it right. From the time they pick you up at your hotel in a nice air conditioned van, to the check in at the office, to the experience on the boat, and finally the departure, this company exceeds expectations at every step. The trip leader (J) and the rest of the crew are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. They work extremely hard to make sure that every step of your experience goes above and beyond. They create a really fun atmosphere on the boat, including musical entertainment. The food is outstanding on Manta Queen 7, and at the end of the day, the dive guides sit with their group to go through the dives, and talk about all the stuff/fishes/species you just saw. It is really informative and very entertaining. The trip leader is outstanding and really helps make this boat worth every penny. I have taken other liveaboards in Thailand, and this company is the best. You will not be disappointed.

Great value - 19 dives in 5 days
Fabian was a great dive guide, modelling hid guiding to the capabilities and interests of his group. However, unless you lick sleeping on thin high density foam mattresses, bring your own air bed or similar to make your sleeping more comfortable

- Liveaboard dive trips again prove value for money diving with a group of scuba enthusiast. We had guests from Australia, United States, Argentina, Belgium, Japan and China. Together with a diverse and multi-lingual dive guides, everyone was included
Not my best liveaboard
The dives on day 1 and 2 where visibility was good. But five divers on one instructor is not good especially when you know that the visibility is going to be bad.

Good diving, friendly, helpful crew – boat a bit short of facilities one takes for granted, for example; on a Red Sea live-aboard
Negatives:- virtually zero storage in the cabins (usually there is room for soft & small bags under the bunks). Showers were effectively rationed (invest in a water maker), I had an upset stomach for 3 of the 5 days, which took the edge off the enjoyment a bit. Our dive guide on a number of occasions would leave a perfectly good pinnacle, wall or reef with lots of life and things to explore to head out into the blue, frequently against the current, presumably on the off-chance of finding something dramatic – which is significantly less likely in low-viz. In this day & age, boats really shouldn’t be emptying their toilet and bilge water directly into the sea, especially in a National Park.
- Recommended for
- Good if somewhat lengthy dive-briefs, despite the poor viz - excellent diving, particularly on Koh Bon & Richelieu Rock with massive amounts of life.
First Liveaboard
The visual range was somewhat disappointing, but it remains a good memory to encounter various fish and beautiful sea environments. Especially, the manta and whale sharks are the most memorable.

Very nice and intensive diving experience!
We had 6D/5N trip scheduled between 2 and 7 Dec 2019. In fact on the first day there is only late afternoon loading on the boat, and dives start on day 2, but having 4 dives per day and 3 dives on the last day, it gives 19 dives alltogether which is quite intensive. Wake up call is at 6 AM, and the day is split between dives and meals till the evening when there is time to rest till the next early morning. Quite energetic diving staff. All is run according to the schedule, and in fact no delays are acceptable by the trip leader, which probably make it work well (J - you a master of organisation and team management, which I would not expect from an Italian guy ;-). The only downside (I think) are the cabins - unfortunately they are very very small and the pictures on the web site does not present how they really look - the twin cabin with ensuite bathroom has just a bunk bed ca. 190 cm long (wall to wall), and probaly 80 cm wide, with the rest of the room of the similar size plus a little larger bathroom and the beds are not really situated as on the pictures but one directly over another. And it is quite noisy in the cabins, even if the boat is not on the move - the generator is on 24/7, which may be an issue for someone requiring more quite atmosphere to have a good sleep. Still - you do not spend too much time in the cabins so it is not a mayor issue, I assume, and noone expect luxuries in the diving boat for this price,

Wonderful
Given the price the boat is obviously not luxurious but it is comfortable and well maintained; the beds suite their purpose - anyway, the priority is diving and the liveaboard experience not the few hours spent in the cabin to sleep. Food was really good, I.e. much better than what can be expected on such a boat with the limited cooking means. Crew was simply wonderful. And the dive sites, well, that you probably already know if you are reading this 😉

An Excellent Diving Adventure!
Meeting people from around the world who are all there for the same reason you are -- DIVING! The corals were spectacular, and many times it felt like you were living an ocean documentary with the number and variety of marine life, especially in the northern islands. We were entertained by ~100 dolphins as we moved North, which provided a wonderful surprise to all on-board. Eels galore, and a few turtles, octopus, mating cuttlefish, nudibranch, and barracudas were encountered, among many other species you don't see in other parts of the world. The Dive Team was spectacular. Them seemed to have different areas of interest, and though we were in different groups, were great about ensuring other groups saw their discoveries. Great team work!

First Liveaboard Experience
I went during the beginning of the season (November) so the boat was only at half capacity which gave us more space and comfort, couldn't imagine at full capacity! It was nice that they allowed us to make changes to schedules if we wanted to dive certain sites again. The boat itself was well maintained and clean, my bunk however didn't have a fitting mattress so I was a little uneven but no big deal, slept like a baby from all the diving. Food was amazing! It was hard not to over eat and feel like you're about to feed the fish. They weren't kidding about eat, sleep, dive and repeat! The boat crew were super helpful even though I don't expect it (as a dive professional I'm use to doing everything myself anyway).

Whaleshark!
Most of the dives do not fall into the category best ever, but I've seen my first whaleshark there and it was not a baby. Everything was organized perfectly. The boat is not luxury vessel, but that was not what I was looking for. The mix of people on the boat was great (maybe due to the lower amount of glamour). I would do the trip again.
