AMAZING!

Amazing liveaboard! Exceeded all expectations. The food was great, surface intervals were long and relaxing and the boat was comfortable. The crew were good and dive groups were small and well managed. Highly recommend!

lets swap money for a dream

Liveaboards are never disappointing, or at least i have not been disappointed so far, but this trip was special. having been on the manta queen 2 was special though. what made it special, lets put down some hard facts. the open- and friendliness of the boat and dive crew is unparalleled in my world so far. the deck hands literally did everything they could to give a hand. from pulling you out of the ocean, to helping you take off your gear (without beeing asked) to simple friendly conversation to sharing their experience of living in Thailand. The rental equipment is very good and comfortable. on the last boat I had been the fins destroyed my feet, but on this boat there wasnt even a scratch of the end of the trip. Plus they offer all kinds of medical supplience to improve your experience, which helps a lot! The dive staff was the most professional i have had so far. The last liveaboard i did headed to the great barrier reef and the training i received there, while beeing sufficient, did not reach half of the level of proficiency in both formal education and simple tipps and tricks to improve your experience. I was actually surprised, how much of a difference it made. the food was great. ranging from normal Thai to a bit of fusion to western food. there were always at least 4-5 choices and everything was prepared with care and caution. even though i ate around 5 times a day, i still lost weight. now lets leave hard facts aside and try to paint you a picture of this trip. There are a few things in life that are solely enjoyable and comforting. things that touch your heart and soul and remind you why you are alive and what makes life worth living. this trip is one of these things. it took my restlessness and gave it a home. i had been lost in Bangkok and its never ending tapastry of opportunity and despair. seeing what there might be and knowing of the boundryless opportunities left me stranded on an island of expectations and indecisiveness. it might sound a bit dramatic but i was a little lost. this trip held infront of my eyes again what i was searching for in life and renewed my self determined purpose. I had not felt like this, for many years and in fact thought i would never feel this way again. out of a simple desire arose purpose. I wanna thank the crew of this ship from the bottom of my heart for giving me that reminder, and even though you, who is reading this, might not be as lost as i was, i am sure you will be able to find what you are looking for here. Sincerely Norbert Ps. we saw a huge manga with at least a 3m span which was amazing

Great return to diving

Trip highlights included having small dive groups and placing people in same experience for the most part. The groups had an instructor and a Dive master trainee. If a person liked their air, they were led to the surface, not shortening the other divers length of dive. As a former dive instructor myself I was part of a group of three divers. A newer diver did join the group after the first dive. She had good skills and great on air so it was a pleasant experience. The dive locations were good offering a vast selection of corals and marine life. Of course finding dive sites in pristine condition is hard to do with the coral bleaching and other factors. Some sites had current but the dive crew did their best to minimize the effort to fight the current. On the boat the Thai staff were very pleasant, cheerful, helpful and efficient in working with guests. The dive crew were able to accommodate the multiple nationals on the boat by speaking many languages. The dive briefs were professional and if the divers listened to the brief the dive went well. Only disappointment was the condition of the Prathong Wreck site - nothing the crew could do anything about. The wreck was now nearly turned upside down, as compared to the previous time the crew dived it. It was said to be at a 90 degree. There was enough cover from the current and a ton of marine life considering the age of the site. Poor planning by the organizers of the artificial reef with the placement in current, and insufficient anchoring. Still worth popping in the water to check it out. Overall a great experience. A great bang for the buck.

Zudem betaucht man erstklassige Spots.
