The Emperor Virgo liveaboard offers year-round diving in the Maldives. Catering to just 18 divers, there is ample space for all guests on board to relax and unwind during their stay. Cabins are spread over 3 decks and have double or twin beds, private en-suite bathrooms, and individually controlled AC. Upper-deck cabins also have large picture windows and amazing sea views.
The main deck of the Emperor Virgo is home to the large indoor salon with an entertainment area and dining room. The upper deck has an outdoor terrace, bar, and an al-fresco dining area to enjoy the delicious cuisine and gorgeous scenery. Meals combine international and local dishes, and a free glass of wine is included with dinner. The sun deck has comfortable loungers and offers a relaxing space to unwind between dives.
All dives from the Emperor Virgo yacht take place from the accompanying dhoni, which gives plenty of room for kitting up, and gear storage and makes getting to and from the dive sites easy. Itineraries on offer are The Best of the Maldives, Sharktastic, South Central Atolls, and the Deep South & Southern Sharks. All offer incredible dives with the chance of encounters with sharks, whale sharks, dolphins, turtles, and more.

Shark- and Manta-Tastic Week
Had a great week diving with Russ, Jacky and Issey- definitely lived up to the 'Sharkatstic' itinerary...with two great manta dives to boot. Alimatha Jetty and Rangali Madivaru are now in my Top 10 list. The cabin was comfortable, the boat was great, and Chandana and the staff kept us all well fed. Also had a great group of folks to dive with. Would gladly do it again.

Amazing Diving with safety and care
The highlights of the trip were simply - we got lucky and our dive group was able to come across a whale shark without the hordes of other snorkelers and divers out there. We saw sharks on every dive and dozens / hundreds on some dives. On the manta night dive, mantas hit us! It was all just so amazing. The crew was very kind. The diving was suprisingly difficult given the currents and we had to abandon 2 dive sites due to unwieldy/washer machine currents which is better than risking low air to continue. All in all it was an unforgettable and incredibly experience.

Great dive trip!
Such an amazing week! We had a great time with some fantastic diving and a wonderful crew! The boat was super clean and comfortable, and all of the crew went out of their way to make the trip special and enjoyable for everyone! Magical Week in the Maldives
Magical trip aboard the Emperor Virgo. Went as part of our honeymoon and it was more than what we even dreamed it could be. The sea life showed up and showed off - mantas, whale sharks, 40+ nurse sharks, diverse dives and countless octopus, micro life, and fish - the crew did everything possible to help us see the best sea life we have ever seen. So good it almost felt surreal. The boat is older but well maintained and the crew were genuinely some of the nicest people we've ever met. Virgo isn't the biggest boat of the Emperor fleet but I can't imagine going on a different one now. We did our homework before we came and I would encourage any future divers to not hesitate booking. Everyone went above and beyond and it was a trip of a lifetime we will never forget!!

It was the best liveaboard I have ever done , that with amazing manta experience , the Sharks , the diving was superb.. The crew were good and the briefings were superb. Cannot fault anything on this trip . Will want to come back . 😀😀

pretty good. the boat could use updating. $20 for internet usage is totally inappropiate for a so called luxury tour The hot tub was taken out therefore the website was wrong. I booked this particular boat because of that,therefore I think a little refund should be offered

Great diving and better food than expected
The boat Virgo is not the most luxury boat you will find in Maldives, but I had a great time on this boat. The cabin at second deck with large windows is great. Very good food, much better than I expected. The dives was great and our diving instructor was very good - but I also know that one of the tree diving instructors on the boat was not so good, heard from the people in his team. I think the trip was good value for the money, and I will probably come back.

Amazing diving, amazing boat & crew
Everything was top notch. I love the Maldives. We saw 6 species of sharks in one week and countless Mantas. Whale shark and hammerheads were to of my favorite along with the night dives with Mantas and Nurse Sharks. The diving guides are outstanding, thank you Andrea Reeko and Megan. Crew is great and the boat as well with great food the whole week.

Amazing trip!
We were lucky enough to see 17 Eagle rays swimming in formation, lots of sharks, turtles and rays as well as beatiful corals and so much fish life. The night dive with the Mantas was thrilling - as was the twilight dive with the nurse sharks. We couldn't fault the crew and Dive Guides. The briefings were really good and health and safety was always a priority. It was our first liveaboard and we couldn't have asked for more. The accommodation was excellent and the fantastic cocktails an added bonus. Thanks to Thomas and all the crew for making the week so special!!

Awesome week in Maldives
Great daily itinerary that was flexible and based on site conditions which allowed us to truly see the best of Maldives - from mantas to stingrays and lots of colourful marine life. The liveaboard itself was extremely cosy and comfortable with delicious meals whipped up for us 3 times a day. The dive crew and guides were great, informative and really friendly. We had a ton of fun with the other guests on board and it really felt like home for a week.

My wife the Ears are very uncomfortable （Tympanic hole）when 12th diving trip! The Dive guides and team contact the hotel doctor immediately, and take her to treatment! Thank the team helps us to to it! And some diving site the current is very strong, the diving guide also show us how to avoid strong currents and safely diving!

Nice experiences, but the ship had a engine problem.
Watching the some kinds of Shark,Crew, Diving guides was very nice. Especially, my guide Muaz was very friendly and awesome. He tried to show me how Maldive's diving fabulous was. I didn't watch any manta ray though. Our Ship had a engine problem from 3th days to last day so that some spots we were supposed to visit were missed. At the end, they just offered free of beers and drinks for compensation. I've decided i won't choose any Emperor liveaboard again.

I enjoyed the whole trip very much! The dive sites are amazing and staffs service is very good. The room's window has no ventilation so air is pretty still in the room but you can leave your door open to get rid to let the air flow. Cleanliness is acceptable but can be further improve as i see the towels and bed linens have some stains probably due to frequent usage.

Great Dives and amazing Food
The Crew and the Guides are very friendly and attentive. They care about you like about their friends and try everything to make the trip to your best week. The dives sites are well chosen and eventhough we had not the best visibility, we saw whaleshark, plenty of Mantas, different sharks and turtles, cuddle fishes and many many fishes :-) And the food is amazing! For the vegan, diabetics individual meals have been provided. Awesome week!

Loved it
Despite mechanical problems (a big but also very rare issue, no one to blame), the crew went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our experience the best it could be. I had an amazing time. The dives were great and we all saw what we came for (yes, including a whale shark). I definitely recommend this trip and would definitely pick this company again.
