How it should be done

Extremely slick when it comes to timings and organisation. From the moment we met the rep in the airport until they dropped us back, everything ran on time was handled professionally and with care. When a problem with the dive boat that was nearly impossible to predict, everyone worked hard to get us to the next dive which turned out to be the best dive of my life. The boat is huge with plenty of inside space to relax. The outside space isn't as good as other boats I have been on but as it rain quite regularly, you understand why. The food was exceptional, the diving is great and the crew and guides friendly and knowledgeable. We would happily recommend both Emperor themselves and especially Serenity if you're considering a Maldives dive trip.

Perfect.

Hammerhead shark encounter, large number of mantas and sharks. Fourth liveaboard trip, PADI Rescue/AOW, gotta say three things. One, VERY GOOD GUIDE. Our guide was very much focused on safety which made him very reliable, but he was also knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke good English. I've been on boats where i) the guide can barely speak English, or ii) the guide is so hardcore you frequently end a dive with barely 20 bar left. I believe no one will want to feel so scared / apprehensive / anxious while on vacation. Thanks to my guide I felt so much more at ease this time, but also didn't miss anything (hammerhead, mantas, sharks, etc...). Two, spacious rooms. Liveaboards are usually a bit cramped, and I fully understand the reasons why, which is why I usually end up sitting outside or in the lounge. This time however... the room was so big and comfortable, I just wanted to stay there. In fact, I think this is the first time I found a room on a liveaboard that I was really able to 'rest' in. Three, draft beer! This may seem silly and funny, but this was the first time I saw draft beer offered on a liveaboard, and sitting on deck with a glass in one hand felt extremely nice.

A Time to remember around various " Thilas" in the Maledives.

A Highlight was surely the night dive with the nurse sharks. About 20 of them surrounding the divers. Another highlight was the night dive with the Mantas turning their loops right above our heads. The underwater life in the Maledives is fantastic and divers in one dive spot should be limited. The dives were beautiful though not very relaxed because there were just too many divers at the same time on the same spot. It would me more than necessary to adjust timetables of the boats anticyclic to avoid mass divnig at one spot..

A trip full of magical experiences

The highlight of the trip was diving with a whale shark. We had snorkelled with them before, but seeing one while diving was spectacular. The entire crew was amazing, the boat more than comfortable, the food provided an extra few kilos added to the bodies post trip, and the dive sites visited truly gave us the best of the Maldives.

Relaxing week of diving bliss despite the rainy days.

Friendly and personable dive guides and crew. Good dive briefing and guides/divers ratio. Guides were knowledgable about the areas and were able to point out really cool things during dives. Buddy system for each dive and you get as much time up to60min as your air allows. The boat has all the creature comforts a diver or even a non-diver would need. I was a solo traveler and ended up having a cabin to myself. Hot shower after each dive was nice. Food was delicious with a well-balanced menu, offering a good variety to please everyone's preferences. Those with intolerances/allergies get separate servings of the main dishes. Despite the stormy weather, the dive sites were awesome even though we never managed to get to Baa Atoll.
