The Carpe Novo is the largest yacht of the Carpe Diem fleet offering year-round diving in the Maldives. 12 comfortable cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 22 guests onboard. The Junior Suites, located on the upper deck have double or twin beds and ocean views. The 6 standard cabins located on the lower deck have either one queen-size bed and a single bed or two single beds. There are also two single suites located on the main deck, ideal for solo travellers. Also on the main deck is the large air-conditioned salon with panoramic views, flat screen TV, entertainment system and library. The upper deck is where freshly prepared dishes are served at the al-fresco dining table so guests can enjoy the stunning views and sea air. The sun deck has plenty of padded loungers and a partially shaded seating area for tanning in between dives or enjoying a sunset cocktail.
Itineraries on Carpe Novo cover some of the best dive sites the Maldives has to offer. The classical routes are 7-10 nights long and explore the Male, Ari, Vaavu and Rasdhoo atolls to name a few. The Deep South trips are for more experienced divers who will be rewarded with hammerhead encounters and thrilling channel diving. Diving takes place from the dedicated dhoni which is fully equipped to give divers all the space they need for kitting up, gear storage and rinsing. There is also a dedicated camera room on board with charging ports and a dry area for changing batteries and memory cards so you don't miss out on the action.

Crew was friendly but seems not very motivated Boat needs to be rennovated, or cleaned (had fungees in my room) No BBQ has been done, why so? By asking, it was mentioned that the island is already occipied?? Why, if it is written in the itenary, the island BBQ didnt took place? How could it be, that the island is not reserved by Carpe Novo?? By asking to do extra night dive instead, it was mentioned, that therefore it will be charged extra -> what will we get for the not organised BBQ (cause the island is occupied by others???) Food: generally was good and frehs, but in 7 days, 3 times Spagetthi Bolognese is not very much variants Its my 4th liveaboard at the Maledives with different companies, always a nice highlight, an island BBQ was organised. Never heard, that sorry, the island is occupied by others and therefore BBQ cannont take place. If something is written in the intnenary, and has also been charged for (we payed for that), this is no excuse

Absolute luxury, the whole experience was fantastic.
Diving was great, although the visibility was limited - that can’t be helped at this time of year. Beach Bbq was good fun, and there was a great group of guests on there boat making it a super fun experience.

Everything was 5 stars!!
Everything was well organised to make a week trip so comfortable and do diving. Delicious meals are always ready when we come back from each dive and staff were all professional and dedicated to what they do. We are so happy that we chose this liveaboard. If we come back, we will definitely look no further.

Great Location & Luxury Yacht
I loved this trip! Absolutely everything was organised and the communication prior to the trip (as well as during) was always prompt and included the necessary information. The highlights the trip for me where see a whale shark, many many manta rays, lots of different types of sharks I hadn't yet seen and octopus. The dive masters were quality. They took us to good sites and had a good knowledge of the areas we would be diving and what we could expect to see. I enjoyed that the tanks were always changed for us when it was time to do the next dive. There was a great variety of food served throughout the day. It was very hard to be hungry on this trip.

Wunderschöne Tauchsafari in entspannter Atmosphäre
Wir wurden von der Crew sehr verwöhnt, die Tauchgänge liegen in entspannter Atmosphäre ab. Unser Tauchanfänger konnte dank seines Lehrers Albi sogar noch den AOWD und die Nitroxzertifizierung machen. Unsere Nichtraucherin wurde bei den meisten Tauchgängen beim Schnorcheln begleitet und hatte so ihre Manta und Walhaibegegnungen. Die Juniorsuiten waren ausgesprochen komfortabel. Das Essen hervorragend. Rundum Service vom Feinsten. Es war unser 1. Liveaboard Erlebnis , Tauchurlaube werden in Zukunft wohl nur mehr am Schiff stattfinden.
