Amazing!

Night scuba dive with manta rays, variety in dive sites visited and snorkelling with a whale shark. The crew were very friendly and accommodating, the dive sites were incredible and far exceeded my expectations. This was my first liveaboard and I couldn't find anything to fault. Overall had an amazing experience!

Boat a bit old and a nice refurbishmnt would be nice. Good itinerary ftom Gan and many dives. Unfortunately there is no nitrox available which is a problem as most of the dives are rather deep. The or

It's a good liveaboard at a lower standard then many of the other boats

Any liveaboard in the maldives is amazing because of the animals there. There is ofcourse different standards of liveaboards and this one is somewhat lower than others. With that said, it was still great

Boat in bad conditions

There are cockroaches on the boat. The bunk beds in the cabins are very outdated and extremely uncomfortable. Boat is really old and it shows. The dives were lackluster other than the tiger shark dives. I went in November and it was not the right time to go. The crew and the dives guides were great, but can’t make up for an otherwise bad experience.

Nice diving week in an old poorly maintained boat

We obviously enjoyed the diving, specially the tiger sharks and the mantas, which are a blast. We even saw a Thresher shark which was unexpected, so no complaints about diving. However, having tried many liveaboards in the past, I would not recommend this boat. There are a number of issues. First of all, the boat is not so big. We were only seven divers and that was fine, but I cannot imagine being comfortable there with a full boat (16 pax+12 crew). There are only six sunbeds, and only four of them are in a shaded area. Seats in the main deck area are not particularly comfortable. Not a lot of space to relax out of the cabins. All cabins are in the lower deck, very small and with just a tiny porthole (there are cabins with big windows in the upper deck, but those are reserved for the crew. In other boats I have travelled, it is the other way around). When we arrived we were offered one of the smallest cabins, near the bow. Being only four cabins occupied we requested to change and there was no problem to get a slightly bigger room, but we believe that should have been the first choice. Air conditioning in the cabin is either off (and you sweat) or on (and you freeze). Intermediate temperatures or fan speeds do not seem to make any difference. Bathrooms look old but are big (half the room size) and I have to say the shower works pretty well. Food was simple but tasty and we loved the sashimi the cook made a couple of times with the catch of the day. However, it was always served inside and we were disappointed that at least the days we were moored in Fuvahmulah, protected of the wind, breakfast or dinner would not be served in the front table (outside). It would have been nice. We mentioned it, but were told the table was not big enough (we were only seven!). In between dives snacks were poor, just crackers and oreos, and if you had a beer or a Coke at night and wanted some peanuts, you have to buy them at 7,50$. I think this is not right, in every other liveaboard I have been this is complimentary. Another thing that's not right is to charge us for the land tour we did in Fuvahmulah. It was 40$ for the whole boat, which is not much, but it's a bad detail. That should be included in the cruise price. Hell, it's such a small money that should be given for free! And lastly about the boat, which I think is the worst, there are small cockroaches everywhere: in the main area, in the cabins, over your luggage and even in the kitchen. I understand is a tropical area, and blah, blah, but I never saw this in any other ship. This issue is nasty and needs to be addressed ASAP. To end with a good note, I have to say that the dhoni crew and the divemasters are great and at the end of the day saved the trip. Young, enthusiastic, helpful, friendly and they know what they are doing. Diving spots are great, the tiger sharks are fenomenal animals to watch and the operation in Fuvahmulah seemed pretty profesional and safe to me. The manta point in Addu is not really at 20 meters. The deepest part is at 30m, so in these dives we would have appreciated some Nitrox to gain some bottom time. But anyway, it's always great to see the mantas and the divemasters had the knowledge to take us there at the right tide moment to find them.
