Highlights
The luxurious Blue Force One yacht offers year-round diving liveaboard trips to the spectacular reefs of the Maldives. Built with divers’ needs in mind, the M/V Blue Force One has 10 modern cabins, including a Junior Suite, Master Cabin, and Master Suite. Each cabin has individually controlled AC, an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, TV and safety deposit box, catering for up to 20 guests on board. Social areas include two outdoor Jacuzzis, three sun decks, an upper deck bar, a living room with huge armchairs and 65 inch TV and disco room. Guests are also welcome to take out stand-up-paddleboards, surfboards, and kayaks in their free time.
Divers will get the chance to explore the beautiful dive sites of the Maldives, including special trips at certain times of the year that will take divers ‘off the beaten track and experience pristine dive sites to the South. Manta Rays, Hammerheads, and Whale Sharks are common sightings. The Central Atolls route offers the most varied diving in the Maldives and explores North and South Male Atolls, Vaavu and Ari. The Blue Force One has a dedicated spacious 18m diving Dhoni which is fully equipped with rinse tanks, gear stations and nitrox compressor.

We had a great trip for Deep South. The boat and dhoni setup is very comfortable. Diving for Deep south is done in channels with reef hook, but also pinnacles (tila) and one wreck We saw tiger sharks, Dolphins, many Silver and Whitetip sharks, turtles, ... and even a frogfish during a night dive. Only things to consider are financial related: Euro rate was ~8% worse than Mastercard, so paying by card (3% surcharge) is worth it. Taxes are extra (~300€), it seems like this is included with others except green tax 6usd/day. The early return flight was booked even though the intl. flight was only at night, but prbly Maldivian airlines fault.

O barco é muito bom mas as refeições são feitas do lado de fora da parte climatizada o que diminui muito o conforto. Os quartos são bons apesar de que meu banheiro estava alagando e a água quente demora para sair. Os mergulhos são bons, visibilidade boa, mas muitos corais estão mortos. Alguns lugares perderam todos os corais. Não vi tubarão baleia que foi uma das razões para ter vindo além dos corais. Recomendo o liveaboard.
