“Diving, Nando was a great dive guide. And OMG the ginger tea after every dive was on point.”
Highlights
The Neptune One is a luxurious 38-meter/125-foot vessel that accommodates up to 16 guests in 8 beautifully appointed cabins, including 4 deluxe suites, 2 deluxe sea view cabins, and 2 deluxe sea view cabins with balconies. All cabins are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms with warm water showers. On the main deck, you'll find the large saloon and restaurant, as well as the spacious dive deck. Up on the sundeck, you can enjoy stunning views of the ocean and sky while sunbathing or stargazing. Two dive tenders accompany the main vessel, ready to take divers to the best dive sites Indonesia has to offer.
The Neptune One operates in 3 destinations: the Banda Sea, Komodo, and Raja Ampat. The Banda Sea is an ideal destination for intermediate and advanced divers, with its stunning coral reefs, warm water, and excellent visibility. In Komodo, divers can drift over sandy bottoms or rocky corals, hover on top of pinnacles that attract pelagic fish, or go diving with Manta Rays. Since conditions can be challenging in Komodo, the Neptune One won’t take divers with fewer than 50 logged dives there. Raja Ampat boasts an impressive array of underwater environments, from easy reef dives to deep sea dives and high-speed drift dives.

Really friendly and helpful crew
Comfortable cabin and boat, better that expected (and better than the pictures).

- Nitrox availability, comfy common area, and cool guests.
One week of good diving
While in general, the visibility wasn't so good (likely due to the season or El Nino), only one out of 16 one-hour dives could be considered average, the rest was above average.

Worth it
Is my first liveaboard and I can't wait to go back again. Dive guides really did a very good job to take care all of us. Make sure everyone was fine. Crew Service was so friendly and nice. Everything was good expect there's some noise almost everyday 4am. Aircon wasn't working for the last few days. Other than that is good.

The perfect Raja Ampat adventure
1 - The crew. Everyone is so lovely, and I do mean everyone because every person on the crew helped me with something, whether it was my air, my gear, my food, my ginger tea, my dive, my towel after shower, the cleanliness of my room, my boat ride (to dive and across the sea), or my oxygen tank. But what is more important, they did that with a massive smile and great politeness every time we passed each other. Thank you all for being so kind and sharing a bit of your life with me! 2. The food. The boat’s kitchen is excellent. Everything was fresh, delicious and thought out. I am especially grateful for accommodating my needs as a non-meat eater <3 I would come again for the food only! - Dives organisation. Super professional, organised and on point. Names, tags, towels, numbers, instructions, buddies, equipment, checks, everything.

A comfort trip for Asians, exotic adventure for others
One downside is that the vessel is not enormous, so there are limited spaces for you to hang around and your big camera.

Such an enjoyable trip!
I loved the dives at Manta Alley and Crystal Rock. Shotgun and Batu Bolong were also very unique. The conditions were great and I truly enjoyed diving in the different parts of Komodo National Park. The crew was amazing and made the trip unforgettable. I would recommend this trip to anyone who has enough diving experience to and who would like to explore diving around Komodo.

- Beautiful and diverse dive sites with abundance of marine life, attentive crew who did everything they could to make us enjoy our trip, the excursions were well suited to the amount of time that we had during the trip
Amazing Komodo Week
Great itinerary and execution from a very experienced and friendly team, the divemasters were really good, with a good sense of humour and always trying (even if not possible) to accommodate all guests' day to day requests. I would be more than happy to dive with them again, they made us feel welcome and safe, they were quick to recognise potential risks and dive experience of the guests, they were meticulous with safety and preparation of the gear before and after every dive, without being too overbearing. The briefings were always spot on, accurate and very detailed and the divemaster had always checked the divespot prior to going to ensure if good for dive or adjust the schedule accordingly so we get the best possible experience. The boat was comfortable and kept always clean, in general, good value for money.
