Great week with the small stuff...and a few big critters.
Great staff; good macro and bottom-dwellers (multiple sea horses, scorpion fish, toad fish, octopus, crabs and shrimp, southern stargazer, etc.); healthy, colorful reefs.

Not my first live aboard choice but a surprisingly good trip.
The weather was not the best due to wind but the crew was able to find diving safe opportunities. Because of strong currents we did some drift diving. The day trip to Cayo Cochinos was awesome. The absolute best experience was the shark feeding dive.

The Perfect Dive Vacation
Gabi was a perfect hostess in setting expectations, announcing changes, setting up the dives and dive sites. It was a wonderfully catered experience where the company was pleasant because expectations were well set and everyone had a great time. This is truly, the best liveaboard I have ever had the chance to be on.

Roatan aggressor is a gem
The entire crew was awesome from beginning to end. The days ran seamlessly with help on the dive deck from Jonathan, Gabby and G. Captain Eddy is a master both in and out of the water and kept the boat steady in the face of some challenging winds. Johnny kept all the systems running without a hitch. Jennelle and Milton rocked it in the galley and we all finished the trip a few pounds up. It was a great week. I look forward to another trip to Roatan.

was expecting a little more
My review is for the ROATAN AGGRESSOR on the 23rd June to 30th June, 2018. Well, all in all I was able to make 27 dives in 6 days, so that was good. However it was a little disappointing being that with late notice being in April and after my flights were all reserved and paid for that all customers were to incur an additional USD$125.00 charge for ports and marine park fees as the entire island is now apparently a marine park, however fishing is still being done openly everywhere by local fishing charters and the wildlife kind of reflects neglect as there are noticeably less fish then I personally observed in other parts of the caribbean that I have most recently dove at. Sharks were shockingly absent accept for one dive site where a shark feeding session was attempted. The other 26 dives only scared out a single nurse shark sighted by my group. It is alarming that none of the other dozen or so divers reported seeing any sharks at all, other then at the shark feed dive where a mere 9 sharks came to feed. On the other hand there were many turtle sightings as well as a few eagle rays and a few octopus sightings, but with Roatan’s spectacular underwater topography and world re-known barrier reef I expected to see much more wildlife than what was there. The corals at many sites appeared to have presence of algae growth and the barrier reef does not appear to be in great health. Another thing I was not super happy about was that we did many repeated dives at the same sites. The operations coordinator advised that the repeat dives at the same locations were due to weather restrictions caused by wind, but as a customer it just seemed a little concerning that we dove many sites that were very near shore dive locations. The travel to Utila was also cancelled due to weather restrictions. In regards to the boat, cabins were smaller than the last charter I was on and the cabin layout did not seem well designed with too few hooks for hanging stuff. Food on board was good and the operations coordinator was able to cater to different taste and allergies, and also tried to accommodate vegetarians onboard. This is my first Aggressor fleet vacation and I am not sure if it’s the same on the entire fleet, but with the breakfasts and dinners they would serve you rather than to do a buffet self serve with a selection of items. My preference is buffet style with a choice or entrée for all meals. The operations coordinator also advised that the boat could only make a limited amount of purified water at a time and it was in our best interest not to over use that resource. When one of the other guest ask the operator as to the use of the hot tub she was advised that due to the ocean conditions that the hot tub would not be in operation for our entire trip. To sum things up, the crew was very good, friendly, and knowledgeable in the operation of the boat. The operations coordinator was accommodating, however professionally friendly at best. I have been diving for 29 years and this was my sixth liveaboard I have been on and in my humble opinion it really seemed like the operation of the ROATAN AGGRESSOR was being streamlined to become more efficient and profitable.

Incredible Crew, Great Boat
Unfortunately we chose to go during a time of iffy weather and were subjected to wind and rain for much of the trip. The crew worked incredibly hard to find good dive sites throughout the trip. The food was very good, our only complaint was that there was too much of it and very rich which is different from the way we normally eat. The cabins were small but comfortable and any and all issues were immeadiately addressed and fixed by crew. Overall we enjoyed the trip very much and would definitely recommend the Roatan Aggressor as a great liveaboard option.

Fantastic Crew
Just returned from a fun trip aboard the Roatan Aggressor. The boat was unable to make it to Utila, which was a big disappointment to everyone. Apparently this is an ongoing issue. The boat does not have stabilizers so guests rarely get to go to Utila. I hope this is addressed for future divers. The crew was wonderful and the boat felt very new and comfortable. The diving was average, at best, but we all had a great time thanks to our group dynamic and the fun crew. The food was good and plentiful, but uniformly under seasoned.
