Excellent diving, excellent time to visit Egypt, and great crew!
I really enjoyed the trip and would definitely re-book. The crew was fantastic - professional and friendly. The crew really went above-and-beyond, in my opinion. The diving was excellent and it's a great time to visit Egypt; since tourism is down we had the reefs and wrecks all to our selves. While tourism is down, I felt completely safe and had no issues at all during any of my travel in Egypt. The diving was great - we had dolphins, eels, nudis, great wrecks, beautiful hard and soft corals, all just really nice diving. On our trip the dive guides didn't go on most of the dives - this was the first time I've ever had this experience on any live aboard or dive resort. The briefings were good but then they'd put us in groups and we'd go off on our own. Everyone was experienced so it didn't feel like a safety issue but it's still pretty unusual. Typically the dive guides go with you and show you the marine life, special sites, etc. This was the first experience like this - it was fine but not excellent.

Fantastic Trip
We had a lovely trip!!! The food, dive guides, and the boat crew was all absolutely amazing!! The cabin was incredibly clean and surprisingly spacious. We had fresh towels and the room was cleaned daily. The crew helping us with diving was great. I never lifted a finger, which felt strange since I have been on the other side as a diving instructor. It was very nice to be taken care of so well. Extra props for hot chocolate after night dives :) The diving was great and we had excellent briefings from the guides. Unfortunately, nature was not too keen on this trip and the sharks didn't really show up for us. But that is no one's fault and we still enjoyed the healthy coral reefs and the surprise Manta Ray. Highly recommend this company and hopefully we will be back soon!

Beatiful wrecks and corals liveaboard
The wreck of Thistelgorm is terrific, we did four dives on it! The reef of Abu Nuhas and his 4 wrecks - we were lucky, we saw dolphins during 2 days we stayed there - while diving on the wreck of Carnatic - and 2 times while going back after a dive on our Zodiac (and we could snorkel withe them, they came to play with us!!) The dives at Ras Mohammed were awsome, so rich in both corals and fishes! Ans diving with a dozen of very playful dolphins at Shaab El Erg was a magnificent ending of this great liveabord

Good diving
The best thing was that it was not crowded with divers. We had the hole SS Thistlegorm for us self for 3 dives.

Very friendly and helpful local crew
The cleanliness in the cabin has room for improvement. Nevertheless the crew is absolutely friendly and helpful. The diveguides try to avoid very crowded dives by good time planning. The highlights of the marine-life were the face-to-face encounters with the longimanus and the hammerheads at brothers and deadalus.

Nice trip
Not yet the right season, but we made the best out of it. One treasure shark, one hammerhead in the distance and three silky sharks under the boat. Some rays, muraines and Napoleons :)

A good boat experience overall
The trip was overall fun with 6 days of diving on our 8 day trip. There was a decent amount of food which was mostly tasty. We got to see Hammerheads on two of the dives. Diving wasn't as good as Australia or Indonesia, but we got to see some rays, moray eels, and a turtle on one of the dives. The crew was very friendly, even if most didn't speak English. There was a cultural difference in communication with the dive guides.

A perfect trip
Everything about this trip exceeded my expectations. The diving was fantastic. Our dive guide planned the dives brilliantly taking into account everyone's preferences and the conditions. The staff on the boat did not miss a beat, they were friendly, and extremely helpful. Cabins were clean and tidy and the food was great, diverse and plentiful. We will be booking again next year with Blue Pearl no doubt.

Amazing!
It was all an incredible experience and every single dive yielded something new! It's so hard to pick a standout but if I had to then I'd say the spontaneous 30 min dive with two adult and two juveniles Dolphins on route the the Giannis D, the school of 30 + Lion fish on the exit of the Ulysses or out into the Blue from the wall at Ras Mohammed, all of it! Diving aside the highpoint were the folks we met and the warmth, expertise and hospitality of the guides and crew.
