The 23m MV Marco Polo Liveaboard offers 3/2, 4/4, and 6/7 day/night dive trips to the Similans, Surin, and Richelieu Rock from November to April. The boat has 6 air-conditioned double cabins with ensuite bathrooms, catering to 12 guests. All cabins open to the outer deck to give guests the full benefit of the cool sea breeze. There are only 3 dive groups on board, guaranteeing excellent service, stress-free set-ups, and fewer divers on the dive sites.
After dives, the Party deck offers plenty of room to enjoy meals and relax in a shaded space. The spacious indoor salon with TV and music station lets guests view underwater footage or listen to music. This is also where all the freshly cooked meals will be served - a mix of international and Thai cuisine prepared by an experienced Thai cook. Upstairs, guests will find the cozy Sundeck, where they can enjoy their time between the dives and the sunset after the last dive of the day.
Diving takes place at the best dive sites in the Similan Islands, at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock. With only 12 divers on board, the Marco Polo is very flexible and can schedule more advanced dive sites for the more experienced divers on board, while others may prefer more relaxed dive sites. The Plateau and its nearby Pinnacle at Koh Tachai and Koh Bon’s Pinnacle and The Ridge are close to the fantastic Richelieu Rock and are solid components of the Marco Polo's dive schedule. In the Similans, the best dive sites are picked depending on the weather, drift, and traffic to avoid dive sites getting too busy.

Knowledge dive guides paired with good food make a great vacations
The trip was amazingly organised. We had some little surprises and the crew reacted very well, e.g. the king decided to dive our dive spot and our tour had to re-route. The alternative dive spot was brilliant and not commonly visited. Our boat was the only one which certainly makes a great experience. The timing of the dives was generally planned so that we were rarely in the water with divers from other boats. We had a chance for sunrise and sunset dives. Divers were divided based on experience - beginner, advanced and experienced - and 2 jump groups. We had 3 dive guides - Thomas, Pauline, Maren. The dive guides were very knowledgeable and good in pointing out marine life. The food was amazing - generally one Thai dish and one European dish and both were very good. The crew was very friendly and super helpful. I would recommend this trip anytime. Thank you, Thomas, Pauline and Maren for a great trip.

Sehr leckere Küche, Thailändisch halt. Freundliche Bootcrew und der beeindruckende Richelieu Rock. Auch ein Landausflug war möglich (Ankerplatz vorhanden) insgesamt sehr schöne 4 Tage, Danke an die Marco Polo Crew!!!

Richeliu es un top 10 del mundo para el buceo 3 buceos ahí valen la pena todo el viaje el clima no ayudó mucho y te recomiendo que revises tu equipo antes de zarpar por que batallé con el tamaño de las aletas y del chaleco

De boot is klein maar met veel ruimte, er zijn nooit meer dan 12 gasten en dat is heel prettig. Het eten is heerlijk en het personeel aan boord ontzettend aardig en helpen je overal bij. De cabins zijn klein maar met veel opbergruimte en erg schoon. Voor het duiken proberen ze de plekken te vinden waar minder andere duikers zijn. Ook met de duiktijden houden ze daar rekening mee. Al met al een aanrader.

Jederzeit wieder!!
Es gab eigentlich nur ein Highlight - und das ging vom Anfang der Reise bis zum Ende - es war die Tauch-Safari selbst. Es war insgesamt so toll, das wir gar keine Mantas oder Walhaie bräuchten um glücklich zu sein.
