Formerly known as Socorro Aggressor, the Cassiopeia offers diving safaris around Socorro Island in the Revillagigedo archipelago and the Sea of Cortez. The 13 staterooms accommodate 26 guests; the Deluxe Staterooms have two single beds, and the Master Staterooms have a queen-size bed. Each stateroom has its own en-suite bathroom, bathrobes, hairdryer, fresh towels, individual climate control, a monitor with a media player, and storage space to keep guests’ belongings. The Cassiopeia has plenty of space to socialize with other guests or unwind in your own space. The main deck's air-conditioned salon and dining room are where fresh international and local dishes such as tortilla soup and tacos are served. There are loungers and a partially covered area for sunbathing or enjoying the sunset. The outdoor terrace and bar are perfect for relaxing at the end of the day to discuss the latest wildlife sightings.
The Cassiopeia visits Socorro & Revillagigedo from November to May and the Sea of Cortez from August to November. At Socorro, divers can expect up-close encounters with giant Pacific manta rays, playful dolphins, humpback whales, and up to 10 species of shark, including whale sharks, at the famous Revillagigedo Islands of Socorro, San Benedicto, and Roca Partida. In the Sea of Cortez, also known as “The World’s Aquarium,” the Cassiopeia visits Isla San José, Isla Cerralvo, and La Paz in Baja California Sur. Divers can expect to encounter sea lions and hammerheads, witness Mobula ray migrations, and see humpback whales.
