Amazing time! Awesome crew! The dolphins!! ❤️
I had a wonderful experience on The Tillis, the owner Ali and I have become great friends; he took me out to see the city of Hurghada and have a night on the town before we embarked, and invited me to his home for dinner with his family when we arrived back in port. He also has an extensive dive shop, where I purchased a ton of new and amazing equipment that I have since used on my trip to Egypt, as well as at home in Hawaii, and while on another dive trip in Mexico. His crew were amazing and made me feel like one of the family during my stay. I was given the largest cabin at no extra charge, and diving nitrox at no extra charge for every dive was also a much appreciated bonus! I earned both my wreck diving and deep diver speaciality certifications during my 8 day stay. The instructors were both very knowledgeable and fun to dive and hangout with. I highly recommend The Tillis, and it’s crew to anyone interested in diving the Red Sea, as it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! Also, THE FOOD!! Wow!! Incredible!! I was trying to lose weight during my trip, but I think I did the opposite as it was far too good to resist!! I already have plans to visit them again in September!!

I had a great time on the Tillis. All the crew was very professional and positive during the whole trip. The diving was excellent and the guides were very knowledgeable. The boat was very comfortable and had ample areas for lounging between dives in both the shade and the sun. The food was excellent! I'd book a trip on the Tillis again!

Boat was very nice and comfortable, Diving was spectacular. I went on the trip as a single and only eight other divers. All the other divers were great, one couple from the U. K, another couple from Spain, a man an his 14 year old son and two other single. Everyone got along just great. Crew was wonderful. The dive guides were very helpful and I budded up with them on most dives. Would highly recommend the Tillis and DivePro for a great trip.

Excellent experience
We had two fantastic dives on the Thislegorm, well timed so that we were the only divers in the water. We encountered thresher, oceanic whitetip, and gray reef sharks at Small Brother island, and did three dives in total at the Brothers. I encountered a female bottlenose dolphin and her calf at the wreck of the Giannis D, and spent two glorious minutes with them. The divers were a fun mix of Germans, Russians, Greeks, Brits, Canadians and Moroccans. A delightful experience.

- The Tillis is staffed by an all-Egyptian crew, who work hard to provide a memorable experience. The guides were accommodating of photographer divers and allowed self-guided dive plans by teams of photographers were it was safe to do so. The owner takes a personal interest in the operation of the boat and does not hesitate to take action to make improvements where necessary.
Great diving with some awesome sharks.

Each dive was well planned and lead to us seeing some of the most beautiful reefs in the world, Hammerhead sharks, and many other magical parts of the Red Sea. The food was so so good. It was a great week onboard the Tillis Boat!!
Major highlights - Hamerhead/Thresher shark and Brothers dive site. Although the weather was not what I was expecting, the crew did all they could to make the experience second to none. We had to change the itinerary and only had the chance to experience one of the southern dive sites which was absolutely fantastic! During the week, it was my birthday and the crew took extra special care to give me a great celebration - streamers/balloons, special dinner, and a wonderful birthday cake! I would definitely go on the Tillis again....but only to the very very south of the Red Sea!!

Tillis simply rocks: amazing Deep South trip in a wonderful Liveaboard!
The dive sites were absolutely amazing, and thanks to the Liveaboard crew (from captain to diving guides, instructors, divemasters, chef, and all rest of the crew) we were able to make the most of it, through impeccable briefings, very well planned dives, four dives per day, excellent docking, good food (accommodating different needs and restrictions), very comfortable cabins, excellent common spaces for relaxing or sunbathing. We always felt safe, with full control by the crew on diving conditions (when needed we used zodiacs for initiating drift dives). It is hard to find negative things, besides the fact that it was too short...!!! One week is not enough, so we will definitely go back!

I had a great week!
This was my first liveaboard and I loved it. The dives were great, and also the crew was very helpful with... everything. Quality of the food was very good, and there was plenty at every moment of the day. If it wasn't time for a meal, there were snacks. The divesites were adjusted to the level of the divers on board, and whe were every time given the choice to go diving on our own, or following a guide. The owner, Ali, was joining the Safari, is a very warm person, who makes everyone feel welcome. I will definitely come back and do another trip with the Tillis, or one of the other ships. Highly recommend!

The complete crew was extremly helpful and nice, always ready for a joke!! and the owner of the whole company (DiveProLiveAboard) joined us on the trip. A very open, sociable and nice guy!! He even gave us a little car ride through Hurghada and invited us for the best Fallafel in town! I could go on with compliments and personal experiences, but you'll just have to experience it yourself! I guarantee you won't regret it!

Great experience, I'll go again
It was my first liveaboard trip and I loved it. The crew was very professional and hard working. There was always someone nearby to help when putting on the dive equipment or getting out of the water. Food was good and plenty. Also there was always a choice of fruits, snacks and soft drinks available. We were total 9 customers, so there was plenty space on the boat for us. 2 guides, 1 mainly did the courses and 1 was guiding the other buddy groups. Only criticism from my side is that I sometimes felt we went through the divesites too quickly. I prefer slow dives, tend to see more things then. Rental equipment seemed OK (I had my own gear). When something was not working properly, it got replaced immediately. My favourite divesites on this trip are Ras Mohammed and the Brothers. Also the wreck of the Salem express with it's very sad story was an experience I would not want to miss. Of course the wreck of the Thistlegorm is another highlight. I definitely recommend this boat, crew and trip. Thanks to all.

Best Liveaboard in the Red Sea
The crew was amazing, all of them from the dive guide to the responsable of equipment, chefs, captain, owner of the boat... very friendly people and always here to help. The itinerary was so good. I did the North Route but we still took time to visit The Brothers which is more considered South. We saw 5 types of different Sharks!! That was amazing. Briefing were efficient, a TV shows you the details of the dives you’ll be doing with details of the wrecks and very nice maps. Also, the crew provided really nice books on the wrecks and marine life to help get more information on the visited sites. The price of the safari is really good, for a high class boat with a very professional crew. I recommand it 100% !

A memorable experience
This was my first experience in a Liveaboard and in the Red Sea. This trip filled my expectations and went a bit beyond out of the fact we were only 10 divers — which allowed us to have a cabin for ourselves and dives in small groups. The dives were made in two groups comprised of 4 and 6 divers plus one guide each. This made the dives more relaxed as they were not very crowded and easier to keep an eye on each other. The dive sites were obviously very nice being the Brothers Islands, Ras Mohamed, Chrisoula K and Thistlegorm wrecks among my favourite. The crew was very friendly and helpful. When getting in and out of the water there were always someone to aid. Sometimes I was afraid to get badly used by having so much help with putting my suit on/off, taking my fins, carrying my gear and so on. The meals were delicious, plenty and on time. Service on the saloon was flawless. The trip got much more enjoyable as the other divers, which I knew none, happened to be diverse and very friendly.

- The route, which is very nice and well-balanced between marine life and wrecks. The friendly crew, who made eating, diving and sleeping possible. The other divers — even being a matter of luck as I didn't knew anyone — they made the trip much more enjoyable.
So many friendly and helpful people, I will certainly come back!
I’ve had the most amazing time with Dive Pro Liveaboard on M/Y Tillis! Started from the first day when I got picked up at the airport by Zizo who was very reliable and friendly. He showed me the dive shop and then brought me to the boat where I got my room, the first briefing and all equipment that I rented from them (everything was of good quality). Since the boat was not full, they all put us in alone in a room which was great. On the first day we had two easy dives in order for everyone to get used to being in the water again and to build groups and buddy teams. Each group was guided by an instructor (Ali or Alaa) during the whole week so we never dived alone which made us feel very safe, especially for the wreck dives. For each dive site the dive guides had special maps and pictures they showed us in the briefing to show us the position of the wrecks/corals including depths and some historical facts. Both Ali and Alaa knew the dive sites well and were very experienced. They handled different levels of diving very well which made it easy for us to adapt to each other. The whole crew was amazing. There was always more than one crew member ready to help us get dressed before the dive and carry everything back in place after the dives. As soon as we got out of the water fruit juice and snacks were served. Rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels availably when needed. Food was amazing as well and there was always more than enough for everyone. The chef even made a special cake because one couple was celebrating their wedding anniversary. On the last day we all got to meet the owner of Dive Pro who spent the whole day with us and invited us for an amazing seafood lunch and tea. He even gave me a lift to my hotel in the evening and the next day he drove me to the airport. So many friendly and helpful people, I will certainly come back! 😊

Swimming with wild dolphins was truly a great experience and the reefs of the red Sea is among the finest on this earth. The southern route offers great diving sites with amazing and vivid corals and varying and interesting dive sites. The crew was super friendly, service minded and the food was great - an important factor on a liveaboard trip, not just the trust in good handling of sensitive food and beverages in the heat, but also the skill of the chef to provide delicious courses every day. The sighting of the sharks, although not so many, very nice Also the nice atmosphere with the other divers and crew I would also like to mention for every diver on every liveaboard that you have to emphasize to both divers and local crew that NO GARBAGE should be thrown in the ocean, zero tolerance on that! Both divers and crew should really care for the ocean, we are its ambassador!

Inspiring trip
We had a very nice time being on a unique trip. However two things should be considered. You heard about the garbage issue. For us it feels very bad, we pay park fees, and then to see that our garbage is being thrown in the Red Sea makes us very sad. This is not what we registered for. Their should be more involvement of Liveaboard on this matter. Especially countries as Egypt who lives on tourism, should be informed properly about awareness. This is something your organisation should stand for. You cannot let Egyptian people organise things without a close overview, because they will take advantage. Then there was the tipping at the end of the trip. For us, it felt as an obligation, they even asked why we didn't give a tip. Friendliness to get tips, gave us a bad feeling, especially at the end of the trip, which is not nice. Please inform better on this matter.

Just ok trip
We have made already all the possible tours in Egypt on several boats/companies and we are very satisfied. This tour; 30 October 2021 - 6 November 2021; DEEP SOUTH TOUR with TILLIS. On this boat, Tillis, we are very unsatisfied. On this boat there was no leader or boss on board. The 2 dive-guides had to take care of everything like paperworks, organising on board and the crews etc. All these made they very tress. They cannot be everywhere. There was nobody to tell or to lead the workers/the crew what to do, so they preferred to do the minimum or sleep on the floor rather than to clean our cabins properly. Live-jackets were missing in many rooms. We had to ask for us, and we received; one was in ok quality and one was just like a toy. The first evening there was no cold beer, and the wine was like tea, so hot. We had to remind them every day and they put only one bottle in the fridge, and it worked. Already from beginning we notices that the compressor did not work properly. It took very long time to fill the tanks, 24 tanks. We could not follow our planing of the dives. Delayed briefings and dives happened often. And one day!!!, the compressor broke down on Wednesday, 4th day of the trip , but our crew managed to bring a new one on board in the evening same day, even we were far away from land (Zabargad). And this made us heading north again, returning early. We could have made more dives in the marine parks, which we have paid extra for. We went back in the Marsa Alam area. I felt upset, because these dives can be made as day-tours from clubs/hotels in Marsa Allam. That is not what I expect with a liver-boat. Further, our boat anchored always more far away from the islands, than other boats (maybe cheaper?). I spoke with our friends who were on Imperia and Oceanos, other boats at the same place and time. They had better dives than we had on Daedalus and Elphinstone both of this boats deserve one star more then Tillis. On Elphinstone, it was a big mess. One of the Zodiacs was broken. The captain had to ask for one from another boat. We were dropped in groups on the wrong places, the driver did not know the exact spot. Our dive guides went already with other Zodiac and grupp before us. So we went with an unknown driver and he dropped too far away from the reef/wall in a big current, so our group was split. We 2 had to make this dive ourselves and one Zodiac from another boat had to help us to come back, in hurry and stress so that I got the tank on my big toe, got an open wound. The owner visited us on the boat in the last evening at the Marina. He excused for what had happened. He proposed us a voucher of 30% discount each, for the next trip. Still today We have not recieved. With our booking, we were recommended by MEETING-POINT to buy a VIP service on arrival, means the visa of 27 euro including 2 vouchers for an Egypt sim-dard and a bottle of water each. We took and payed 32 euro and we recieved nothing, except the visa. We went to different desks and asked, nobody knew about this, nobody could/wanted help us. We lost 2x5€, we could do nothing with the vouchers from meeting point.

So when you have a below standard instructor/guide it can bring your whole experience down with it. And I'm not talking about an off day. Everybody has those sometimes. I'm talking about a whole week of incredibly low energy, inability to answer basic questions about the marine environment and a basic lack of enthusiasm towards the diving expedition, one pays a lot of money to go on. I'm talking about consistently being late for briefings ( Imagine here the divers knocking on door to wake him up!) and dragging their feet to get kitted up for the dives. Bad attitude all over. I could go on and on. My life story deserves better, my beloved sport deserves better, Egypt deserves better!

Amazing staff and good food
It was our first liveaboard experience. So we did not what to expect. And for example we were disappointed about the first diving day because it was easy dive with nothing extraordinary to see. But we understood that it was a check of our diving experience and a reminder howto get out and get in a zodiacs with all equipment. I’m glad about it because the following days, the sea was not so calm. We succeeded to see some sharks, manta ray, turtle, lots of fish. The only concern I might say is the fuel smelling on the boat. Unfortunately we were only be able to get the bottom room, but even on the second level (rest space) we were able to smell it. I still recommend this experience if you never dived in the Red Sea.

Excellent crew and dive guides.
Spoilt really. Hammerheads, oceanic white tips, mantas and turtles as well as the usual array of fish. Of course your not alway guaranteed this, but we were very fortunate 😁.

Best Diving-Famili I've ever had
Thistregorm and lots of other wracks. The coral live was awesome but the fish live could be more. The bigest plus for me where all the divers from lapatformadelbuceo.com.

The boat is really in a bad shape, we started the week with 4 hours of hammer beating some engine problems and a lot of smoke. I strongly believe that they need to improve on the organisation side, like assigning places for diving equipments, some short info once you get on the boat, short briefing about the boat in the 1st evening, be on time at the diving sites, etc.. (and if you need to work on the boat at list explain the problem and how long it will take to solve). The food was good and we had 2 birthdays on the boat and the crew prepared birthday cakes (very nice), diving was nice in excellent places, we've seen sharks, turtles, corals, etc.., briefing for the dives clear and detailed. We had issues on the last night dive with bad air in the tanks and by the end it was not clear the cause, the last 2 dives have been canceled and they have refund. As final comment, the bout needs a major refurbish and they need to improve on the organisation.

Excellent bang for the buck
We had an excellent week aboard Tillis in the beginning of November 2022. The itinerary was shark triangle and yes we did see a lot of sharks, especially hammerheads(!), but also oceanic white tips, reef sharks, one thresher shark and manta rays. The highlight of the trip was Deadalus reef. The guides and boat crew were professional and fun, boat was little worn out but didnt bother us (and the boat is next going under maintenance), food was basic buffet style with many options. We will come back!

Shark Week!
I booked Tillis but got upgraded to the same company's boat, Sea Story (which if you have the extra $ is SO worth it to book). The BDE route was epic and is not to be missed by any shark lovers. The service staff and dive support staff were very helpful and friendly, and they worked very hard to ensure everyone had a great experience. The food was good and fairly varied, but hot vegetarian options often lacked. The dive guides worked hard to try and show us the greatest sites and of course the most sharks!
