First Time in the Red Sea
Abu Dabab was a truly exceptional dive with incredible coral and amazing topography. This is not a new boat, but the rooms were fine with air conditioning and the food was plentiful even if I am not a fan of Egyptian food. The price with included Nitrox was a good value.

Great Liveabaord for the price.
Great wrecks and beautiful reefs on the North route. If you have never done it, it is worth it. Hurghada port is better than Sharm El Sheik. I highly recommend it. Beautiful dive sites, very professional crew, great boat. The only thing missing is the free Wi-fi advertised on Liveaboard site. There is no internet on the boat. You will have 2-3 days without signal. The other days you will get some signal from roaming your own services.

Amazing liveaboard built by and for divers
Don’t hesitate to book a week diving the Red Sea on the Ghazala Explorer. We had an AMAZING time. It’s a new vessel built by one of the boat’s excellent dive guides, whose father and uncle were Red Sea divers and who started diving himself as a kid. They know what they’re doing. We had an epic week of diving on the Southern route. Saw lots of sharks and other critters on a beautiful and pretty healthy reef system. Food was good and plentiful, and the crew just busted their a**es every day to take care of us and make our week memorable. Book it—you won’t have any regrets. A few notes: It’s generally best to bring cash to Egypt and make sure the bills aren’t damaged. There’s beer aboard but BYOB for anything else. If you are a less experienced diver, consider the Northern route as the South features a lot of deep, somewhat challenging dives.

Great Experience on the Ghazala Explorer
The trip was fantastic, some of the best Crew and Dive Guides we’ve experienced in the Red Sea. We did the southern route and were blessed with Sharks, beautiful seas and great company. This was a great trip.

Highly recommend for advanced diving. Best boat in the Red Sea.
Our first live aboard experience was extremely memorable and I'm happy it was on the GE. The boat is new, and it's facilities are both comfortable and make diving extremely easy. Advanced diving, but the guides made it accommodating for us. There were many people with twin sets and side mounts, etc. I will be using GE if I come back to the Red Sea and would recommend 100%

- Big cabin with bathroom, great food, excellent service
Excellent sevice from both dive instructors and crew, very attentive.
I'm a warm water diver so this was my first cold water dive (20C). Jumped in with a 5mm and was comfortable. The briefing was detailed and the dive was great with all the instructors. Before and after the dive the crew would help use gear up and off after the dive. There was so much food and all of it was excellent thanks to the chiefs. This was my first all wreck dive and the stories behind the ships made it even more interesting. I had a double room cabin in the upper deck. It was clean and quit. I would come again and highly recommend the Ghazala Explorer.

I've done three Liveaboard's in the Red Sea the Ghazala Explorer being my fourth, i was impressed from the moment i stepped onboard, the boat is only a year old and very well designed, i stayed in the upper deck cabin and was impressed by the size of the cabin and how well designed it was. All the crew were very friendly, the dives were great, i saw eleven Hammerhead's at Daedalus...amazing ! I will definately be booking the Ghazala again, thank you for a great week !

Fantastic Shark Experience
Multiple Hammerhead encounters at Daedalus. Multiple Oceanic Whitetip encounters at Elphinstone. On one dive we had 4 Oceanic White Tips around and in-between our dive group. Fantastic! The Dive Guides were great at finding the sharks. The crew were very organized and professional and always good-humored. The boat was in very good condition.

Best liveaboard ever!
I have to admit, this is my first liveaboard so I have no real reference, though I don't know how it can get any better than this. Others on the boat, who did liveaboards for 10y on the Red Sea, agreed, this was the best liveaboard ever. Diving & guides were professional and well organized, food was great, refreshments & snacks after each dive, well balanced nitrox levels, nothing to complain about cabins, crew was assisting everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Whether it was putting on your fins, Bcd or wetsuit, they were always there to help you out. Overall a very lovely experience. We did brothers, deadelus & elphinstone this time but I'm going to try to book them again when I go back for a trip up north!

It was incredibly beautiful, best liveaboard I ever been
The whole trip as a package was incredibly extraordinary, it exceeded all my expectations. The crew was very friendly and helped us every minute during the trip. Dive guides were just amazing by choosing the right sites, and giving us advanced divers the freedom to enjoy the dive sites unguided. Diving was suberb, lots of colorful corals with a beautiful reef life, and nice wrecks, and my personal highlight with multiple dolphin encounters. Have been on many livaboard, this one was the best so far, therefore can only recommend it. Thanks for the whole Ghazala Team

First liveaboard, and went way beyond my expectations!
I couldn't choose a better company for my first liveaboard. Everything was perfect from the trip organization until my drop-off and the airport for my flight back. Facilities: The boat looks brand new and it full equipped with all the necessary for a diving week at the sea. From the top, sun and diving deck to the cabins, saloon and dining room; everything was clean and well maintained. Cabins were equipped with soap, toilet paper, towels a comfortable beds, blankets and pillows with more than enough space for two people. The diving deck has plenty of room for all the diving gear and tanks. Crew: The were very welcoming, knowledgeable and always willing to help you to prepare for every dive. The briefings were always educationals and interestings. Underwater, guides felts very knowledgeable, experienced and always welcoming us to enjoy as much time possible under the water. Food: There is plenty of food aboard. The chef cooked delicious dishes and vegetarian options was always there. Divespots: The guides always picks the best dives spots and entrance to the water. They managed to avoid crowded times, and provide options for guided or unguided dives. On every divespot I found something interesting to watch. Plenty of corals, school of fishes, barracudas, stingrays, dolphins, napoleon fishes, nudibranchs, sharks and much more. Thank you Ghazala Explorer and Ocean Tribe fleet for provide me with a week that I will never forget. Looking forward to book my next liveaboard at the red sea with you guys, you are the best of the best!
