  • Dive one of the exhilarating dive destinations in the world in comfort and luxury
  • Regular sightings of schooling hammerheads, countless white-tip sharks, manta rays, tuna, and whale sharks

The Okeanos Aggressor II liveaboard was built for comfort and stability to offer year-round diving at the remote islands of Costa Rica. The yacht provides comfortable accommodation for 24 guests in 12 en-suite cabins. Eight deluxe staterooms are located on the lower deck and have a double lower bed and twin upper bunk-style bed. On the main deck is the master stateroom with a queen bed and on the upper deck are two suites that have either two twin beds or one king bed.

On the main deck is the ship's restaurant where delicious cuisine with a varied and plentiful menu is served. Breakfast and lunches are buffet-style and dinner each evening is chef-prepared and served. On the top deck is the BBQ and shaded cocktail bar, perfect for unwinding with fellow guests to discuss the spectacular diving of the day. Here, you can also find comfortable loungers to do some tanning in between dives.

The Okeanos II liveaboard departs from Puntarenas, Costa Rica for the 36-hour crossing to Costa Rica. Guests can enjoy up to 21 dives at the UNESCO World Heritage site for the chance of big fish encounters like nowhere else. Aside from the incredible diving, guests will also be taken ashore to hike through the jungles of Cocos and swim in the many waterfalls.

Call us or book online today to reserve your space aboard the Okeanos Aggressor II liveaboard.

The Aggressor team have implemented additional measures in line with the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC, USA) or European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC, EU) with their 'Clean Refresh Sanitize' protocol to further ensure the safety of all guests on board. These measures include (but are not limited to) an increased frequency in cleaning and sanitizing public areas, guest rooms preparation procedure upgrade and rooms to be serviced twice daily.

Big animal life not as abundant as expected/anticipated

Overall, boat, food and crew were great. White tip sharks abundant, other shark life averaged 1 or 2 per dive, with Galapagos, black tip, hammerhead and tiger sharks. Limited sites around Cocos. Crossings were better than expected. Water was very warm, 3mm wetsuit fine, but probably why the bigger life was limited, El Niño conditions?

Hammerheads galore

This was only my third liveaboard so I don't have a lot to compare this to. My first two liveaboards were so awesome, so this one was a bit disappointing. The standard cabins were very small. Only two dive masters for 19 divers. We did 23 dives and the diving was quite good. I just didn't feel the love from the crew like I did on my first two liveaboards. I didn't sense much passion for diving or hospitality. There are not a lot of options for diving in Cocos so maybe there wasn't a lot of motivation from the crew to make it an extraordinary experience for us.

As good as indonesia on some dive sites

some sites had several schools of different kinds of fish, as well as sharks and turtles, all in one dive. I like to watch schools of fish. I have been to Indonesia on many dive vacations and Cano Island is as good as Indonesia for schooling fish on some dive sites.

tough dives and room for improvement of dive guides

Saw Manta, Sharks, Turtles and tons of fish, Moray. Made some friends over the trip. Boat is very on schedule. Some improvements can be made. 1. Diveguides can pass on more knowledge of the marine life around the dive spots. 2. Some more helps from the boat might be useful, like ear beer, sunscreen, fish id card, very minor, but can be useful for travelers.

Enchanting island teeming with under the sea life...amazing!

Seeing a Manta Ray, hammerheads, marble rays, spotted eagle rays, a Galapagos shark and the whale shark on Easter morning first dive of the day with dolphins playing in the water when we boarded the panga. Yes, all of this on one dive...spectacular!

Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Unbelievable diving with bunches of sharks at every site. Because we were at the end of the dry season there was little rain and calm seas making for a pleasant crossing and opportunities to visit the island. Can't say enough about the crew, they are dedicated to making your experience an enjoyable one.

Great trip but we didn't get to dive enough.

Cocos is a world-class dive destination that is remote enough to still be well-preserved and not over-dived. The crew was fantastic, they were all very attentive to the guests at all times. The food was fantastic. The boat is comfortable but shows a little wear. My only complaint is that we only got 3 dives per day, or 21 over 7 full diving days. The website says to expect 3-4 per day (no night dives) or 23 total. There is a big time and money investment getting there, it would be nice to dive as much as possible, that's what we're there for. There was one diver in our group who had been on this same trip 2 months earlier and they had 23 dives, but we were told this is not allowed. With only 3 dives a day there is a lot of down time and not much else to do, so it would have been nice to max out the diving. I have been on 2 other Aggressor boats where we did 5 dives per day for 5.5 days, or 27 dives total - so more diving in less time and for much less expense. Something to consider... The diving itself was amazing about half the time, and so-so the other half due to some reduced visibility when storms churned up the water or just due to luck. There were lots of white-tips and many hammerheads, enormous schools of jacks and other fish, rays of all types, huge tuna, and coral in good condition. We saw one whale shark. Some in the group saw mantas and galapagos sharks; the tiger shark(s), if present, were elusive. Overall, I really liked everything about this trip and would highly recommend it, but they should have 4 dives per day instead of just 3.

Trip of a lifetime

The diving exceeded expectations, the crew was so hospitable and went out of their way to make sure we lacked for nothing, and the food was the best I've ever had on a liveaboard. The only criticism, is that the boat's common areas could use a little updating.

Terrific experneice

I'm going to use this space to provide what I hope is helpful commentary. As indicated by the ratings I gave, the experience was excellent. Two small things, though. The showers in the cabins are substandard. Don't know if this can be fixed/upgraded. Also, the exhaust from the engines and/or generator delivered a lot of soot to the back deck. Our feet were black, and the gear got dirty from it, too. Extend the exhaust pipe higher, or something?

An unforgettable trip

The dives were diversified but their quality consistent and most of them were as fun as they were extraordinary. My cabin (the Master cabin) was just perfect and I loved the exquisite attentions on some evenings (chocolate on the pillow etc). But I found the sandard cabins really very small, especially considering the price (that's the reason of the 4 stars "only"). I would like to point out the professionalism, efficiency and friendliness of all crew members, from the cleaning man to the captain. They are all précieuse and really made this trip all the more enjoyable and all the more difficult to leave at the end. The food was also absolutely fantastic and the chefs accomodated me with delicious dishes accordingly to my vegetarian diet. Even though the boat is obviously not brand new, I found it beautiful and well maintained and enjoyed every moment on what felt like a floating home away from home. If the trip was not so expensive (one of the only flaws I can se), I would definitely do it again next year, and maybe the next, and over and over again.

Cocos Island is a fantastic option for shark lovers due to the variety you can find at each dive. It is a long trip from Costa Rica but completely worth it. The crew did a great job to make sure we all felt comfortable. Special mention to the chef and his assistant, who amazed us every day with fantastic dinners.

One of those bucketlist destinations...Has to be done at least once!

Diving against the classic 'wall of hammerheads' on Dirty Rock and getting up close with my first two tiger sharks. Everything is also super sized here, the sharks, the enormous (!) schools of fish, the multiple rays (we had two surprise mantas our week). Note that the boats travelling to Cocos are more simple than most of the luxury liveaboards you get in e.g. the Red Sea and Maldives, but hey, you have everything you need and who cares when diving this great!

The absolut highlihts of this trip were the schools of hummerheads, the very closed big fat galapagos sharks and fantastic guests. The hospitality of the crew was amazing. The best liveaboard food we ever had on a liveaboard! Additional a very good organisation. Coco`s is not the cheapest place to dive but one of the best of value for money! I strongly recommend it!.

The chef was brilliant as were the crew who did everything to make the guests feel welcome. The visibility was a bit poor but we still got to see many sharks and Manta Rays. The only thing that spoilt it was that I was not told that a pcr test was required before being allowed to board which cost me a lot of money last minute.

Great diving with sharks.

Many sharks and rays, as well as abundant smaller life. Diving is worth the 1.5 day it takes to get there. The crew is very friendly and helpful at all times. Visibility around 12 meters, so not great. We went three times to the island. It’s beautiful and very virgin. Nitrox and National park fees are not included (to be payed in the boat) even though they are required to dive there. Nitrox is $150 and Coco Island park fee $600 as of Feb 2022.

Once in a lifetime experience - just amazingly wonderful COCOS ISLAND !

Best diving with hundreds of hammerhead sharks, groups of Galapagos sharks, many white tips, some black tips, eagle and marble rays and an unlimited number of tropical fish. Many different dive sites, some with quite a bit of current. The climb of Cerro Iglesias was also a highlight of my trip to Cocos Island. It was an amazing adventure to the Coco's islands

It was a great trip overall. The diving was great and we saw almost all there is to see in the Cocos besides whale sharks and tiger sharks but plenty of other stuff. The rooms could use some new sheets and pillows to make it a bit more comfortable, and quite small but they did the job. If I had to share with someone that I didn't know, probably would have been much more of an issue. However, they were nice enough. The shower in the room never got hot and the soap dispenser didn't work but there are amazing showers out back for after the diving that were hot and a perfect end to every dive. The coolest part of the boat for sure. I expected a bit more for the cost but it was overall an excellent adventure. The food was excellent but the fact there is no alcohol on board is quite disappointing since the cost is so expensive and that is why that is a 4. The diving was superb. Not as good as other places I have been but still top of the game and we all had a blast diving. Agressor Galapagos was a far superior trip in all ways if I must say. Except the cold water! The water in the Cocos was amazing. 72-87 degrees. 2/3mm suit is perfect. I went in February.
