Join the Sokaraja phinisi for a fantastic budget dive liveaboard trip in Komodo, Indonesia. Itineraries are 3 to 5 days long, with anywhere from 2-4 daily dives available. While exploring the Komodo National Park, guests can dive with giant manta rays, reef sharks, and turtles, as well as see cool critters such as flamboyant cuttlefish, seahorses, and frogfish on a macro night dive. Besides diving, there is the chance to visit the flying foxes, trek with Komodo Dragons on Rinca, and sunset hikes on Gili Lawa Darat.
Topside, the Sokaraja phinisi has accommodations to suit every budget. There is a dorm room with 6 single bunks; for those who want a little extra privacy, there are 2 private double-bed cabins. All guests share two toilets and 3 showers with running freshwater, and basic toiletries are provided. Freshly prepared Indonesian cuisine is served buffet-style in the open-air dining area, which offers stunning views of the dramatic Indonesian landscapes. Best Liveabord of our lifes!
Seeing sharks and mantas in almost every dive, trekking in the Komodo National Park and visiting some pinkish paradisiac beaches. The staff is really nice and friendly, the food is delicious and the dives were breathtaking!

Amazing Experience
Liveaboard Sokaraja was and incredible experience and highly recommended to anyone looking for an incredible diving experience. The crew was absolutely phenomenal and far exceeded the expectations that I had. In addition to 3 dives a day, there were some other treks, and opportunities to see the national parks. The diving experience was second to none and the dive masters were great. Food on the boat was top notch and the group that we had on the boat was a lot of fun.

5 days discovery of Komodo national park
Sokaraja liveaoard has been a wonderful experience, thanks to a great dedicated team. It definitely matched my expectations, if not going above. In 5 days you definitely have the occasion to enjoy the multiple dive types that you can do in Komodo area, with teams / dive masters adapting diving conditions to guests level. Being maximum 10 on the boat, they have this possibility to build a quite « personalized » trip, and spend time to explain wildlife and local conditions. Food made by the onboard chef is really good and the team helpful. They had to manage compressor issues at the beggining of the trip and did it with dedication, saving what could have been a failed expedition. Dive sites are really good and well preserved, thanks to Komodo being a national park + the efforts of liveaboard teams to preserve the resource and environment. Definitely better experience than diving from Labuan Bajo, and overall a great experience! Thank you Sokaraja team!

First liveaboard experience was very positive
night (and day) dives. Komodo island dragon search (and found 3 - even during mating season). The beauty and tranquility of where we moored (most nights - but can't control other boats' use of generators)
