L'Amalia Komodo est un bateau de croisière phinisi de 29 mètres de long qui accueille 11 personnes pour des safaris de plongée à Komodo, en Indonésie. Il y a 5 cabines à bord : 2 cabines doubles avec salle de bain, 2 cabines doubles superposées et 1 cabine familiale. Les cabines doubles et familiales partagent une salle de bain. Les cabines disposent d'une ventilation naturelle, d'un thème nautique frais et de nombreux espaces de rangement. Exceeded my expectations!!
TLDR: 24yo female solo traveler, 4D3N Liveaboard, amazing staff and beautiful dives!! I went on the 4 day/ 3 night Amalia Liveaboard towards the end of June 2024 and was so glad I did. Everyone at Uber Scuba made my experience so easy, I had nothing to worry about, my sole job was to enjoy myself! The boat is beautiful and the entire staff/ crew is so warm and welcoming. It’s clear that our dive masters (Rian, France, and Venan) were not there simply because it was their “job,” rather, it’s their passion and they love making others fall in love with the ocean as much as they are. Chef Yansen serves us fresh food after every dive. Captain Hassan always greeted us and hung out with us during down time. We would sing songs on the guitar with other crew members. Aside from the incredible diving, the Liveaboard was a beautiful experience because of all the people at Uber Scuba that create such a fun and loving environment. As a solo traveler, I felt like I had a temporary family and I appreciated that a lot :) Diving wise, I always felt ready, safe, and prepared with the equipment and briefings before each dive. The biodiversity was STUNNING. Both macro and micro. Sharks, turtles, nudis, shrimp, octopus… but as my friend Ben said, “the ‘normal’ little fish can be just as beautiful and amazing as everything else.” While you can easily just do day trips for diving, the Liveaboard was nice because it takes away most of the travel time and you can be the only group or the first group at what would normally be a busy dive site. I feel so lucky to have this experience, thank you Uber Scuba, you guys are the best 🫶🏼

Wonderful and Amazing First Live Aboard Experience
A spectacular five day live aboard for myself and fiancé (who just received her Advanced Open Water in Bali) around the waters of Komodo National Park. The rich coral and fish diversity made almost every dive, 15 in total, a wonderful experience. Highlights of the trip were: the short excursion to visit the famed Komodo dragons (we spotted seven of them) and the Manta Ray alley, where we saw over ten of the beautiful creatures, one swimming directly over us. An amazing experience above and below the water. This was our first live aboard and overall was a 10/10 experience. Not only were the other passengers an eclectic and interesting group, the boat staff and our underwater navigator/divemaster were professional and got the job accomplished, that is providing remarkable safe dives with abundant and terrific meals above the water. Many times, the captain of the vessel pitched in to help us out gearing up or getting in and out of the boats. A shout out to our divemaster Tarsi. His ability to not only navigate around some of the finest coral reefs in the world was appreciated; he also pointed out the most obscure and smallest of maritime creatures. In addition, he, and the rest of the boat’s crew and divemasters/instructor, were always diligent about the safety of the passengers. All dives were well planned and explained in detail pre-dives. We always felt confident on the nautical and diving professional staff. Will be back.

- The dive guides went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and have a great dive - Food and drinks were plenty, fresh and healthy. - Great itinerary with some on-land excursions, also most of the time we were only ones at the dive site or the first ones to arrive.

Bestes Liveaboard Komodo
Die gesamte Crew der Amalia war einfach super. Die leute sind sehr kompetent, gut ausgebildet und freundlich. Jeder war darauf bedacht dir eine unvergessliche Zeit zu bescheren. Wir waren in kleinen Gruppen gehalten, was super war, da die Tauchguides für jeden viel Zeit hatten. Wir hatten geniale Tagesausflüge und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Die Tauchplätze wurden sehr gründlich und passend zu den Tageszeiten ausgewählt. Das Essen war wohl das beste was wir in unserem ganzen Indonesien Urlaub hatten. Wir vermissen Euch jetzt schon und kommen sicher wieder. Smile Bro!!!!

Amazing dives on an amazing boat
Had the pleasure of doing south, central and north of Komodo om a 5 days/4 nights liveaboard with Amalia and Uber Scuba. The diving was amazing, with Manta alley, Manta point, Cauldron and some really fun driftdiving as the highlights. There are not too many cabins, but we were lucky and met some good people and had a great time! The rooms were without AC and a bit hot, but we could also sleep on deck where the wind was blowing. Very nice! The trekkings were also really nice. Overall a super liveaboard! Would go again!

Es war eine wunderbare Zeit mit der Crew und den anderen Gästen. Es war im gesamten eine Tolle Erfahrung.
Mein persönliches Highlight war es die Manta Rays zu sehen. Ich fand es schön neben den Tauchen auch zwei Inseln und einen Strand besucht zu haben. Eine perfekte Mischung.

- Die Crew war mega freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, das Essen war super lecker und sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Tauchguides waren sehr erfahren und haben wenn nötig den Plan geändert um jederzeit die Sicherheit beim Tauchen zu gewährleisten.

Highlight of my Indonesia Trip!
The team at Uber Scuba could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Every dive was well planned and filled with incredible marine life, the boat was extremely comfortable for lounging between dives and sleeping, and every meal we ate was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a once in a lifetime diving experience!
