Le superbe bateau de croisière Manta Mae, 30 m, a été construit selon le style traditionnel des Phinisi indonésiens. Il offre des itinéraires visitant les sublimes régions de Komodo et Raja Ampat en Indonésie. Lancé en 2014, le voilier accueille un maximum de 9 passagers ; cela permet au Manta Mae d’offrir un service personnalisé afin de promettre un sensationnel séjour de plongée rythmé par de délicieux moments de détente.
Le Manta Mae Phinisi offre de nombreux espaces de relaxation, aussi bien à l’intérieur qu’en plein air. Sur le pont principal un très confortable salon climatisé comprend un bar avec réfrigérateur, appareil à glaçons, télévision plasma et ordinateur Apple. Pour ceux qui aimeront absorber de la vitamine D tout en admirant les éblouissants paysages indonésiens, le pont principal propose également un vaste espace soleil partiellement ombragé par les immenses voiles du Manta Mae. Des repas fraîchement préparés seront servis en plein air sur les tables extérieures. Le pont supérieur propose un autre espace soleil avec de confortables hamacs. Un service de massage est disponible. Le Manta Mae ne possède que 3 cabines, avec une Master et deux Deluxe. La vaste cabine Master est équipée d’un lit king-size avec un lit simple additionnel, les deux cabines Deluxe, elles, sont équipés de lits queen-size également avec un lit supplémentaire. Toutes possèdent salle de bain privée, climatisation, télévision et coffres-forts.
Sous la surface, les plongeurs et snorkelers pourront appréciez le plus beau de ce que les eaux indonésiennes ont à offrir. Depuis les rencontres avec les Mola Mola et les raies mantas à Komodo jusqu’aux récifs totalement intacts de Raja Ampat, il y aura de quoi délecter tous les plongeurs. Vous pourrez également profiter de nombreuses excursions à terre, comme les randonnées à la rencontre des dragons de Komodo, des balades en kayak au travers des mangroves ou bien un BBQ au coucher du soleil sur la plage d’une île reculée.

Alone on the sea
With such a small group of guests, it was easy to find some alone time to enjoy the sea and the sky. The decks have ample covering, so you can find a shady spot if you aren't trying to tan continuously. We were alone on the reefs 90% of the time, and usually dove in 2 groups of 4, which was great. The crew was super friendly. The cook is really good, and every meal was incredible. And they had an espresso machine! This trip was a dream, and I would definitely book again.

Couldn't have planned a better new year vacation!
I shall not write this review without complimenting the chef! The food was simply great on the liveaboard. He occasionally asked what kind of meal we wanted and cooked us meals despite the storm like a champ! Manta Mae is a comfortable liveaboard that accommodates a small group of divers and non-divers. The low number of guest allowed the dive guides Ben and Irlan to focus on each of us and even gave feedback on how to improve use dive skills and air consumption. The dive guides are very familiar with the dive sites. We had a late night dinner in an island and watched fireworks on New Year's eve. The minus points would be the room AC that sometimes leaks and some charging ports in the room did not work.

danke für ein einmaliges urlaubserlebnis.
es gab viele highlights (bitte die folgende reihung nicht als wertung verstehen ;): tolle organisation von der buchung bis zur crew und dem management vor ort, transfer, freundlichkeit, kurze bis gar keine wartezeiten, service, schiff .... alles tiptop. und natürlich großartige tauchplätze - die hoffentlich noch lange so intakt bleiben wie sie sind.

Great diving experience with a very friendly staff
Mantas and millions of fish. Perfect size for a boat with max. 9 people. Always a place to relax on a bean bag. Delicious food and smoothies. Nice trips to beautiful islands. Excellent diving guides, and good rental equipment - thank you Ben and Herman! A trip I will never forget! Tipps: Barefoot boot, only bring flip flops. Avoid the bunk cabin as it is close to the generator.

Best diving in 35 years
Of course the oceanic world in Radja Ampat. Incredible biodiversity and looks like one of the last paradise on this planet. We were able to see Mantas, Turtels, Wobegongs etc. also plenty of macro life. Also some plastic garbage - hope Indonesia does all to protect their environment in the future.
