Highlights
The Sjøveien is a 41-meter/134-feet-long small cruise ship taking 16 guests on adventure cruises in the Arctic. There is 1 suite with a double bed and window on the upper deck and another on the main deck, where there are also 2 double cabins with a window. On the lower deck are 4 double cabins with port-hole windows. The lounge area has a television and 24 seats for lessons and lectures. Delicious meals are prepared by a professional chef. The Sjøveien’s dedicated dinghy, and the experienced driver and guide, take guests on adventures. Guests can share their stories through the onboard wifi or relax in the hot tub.
There are multiple itinerary options, and guests can immerse themselves in seeking orcas and approach these majestic creatures in thrilling snorkeling excursions. Guests can listen to the sounds of orcas and humpbacks through the ship’s Hydrophone, weather permitting. Guests can also increase their knowledge with USEA Lectures led by Orca Expert Pierre Robert de Latour, where they can earn their USEA Certification. Each evening, there is a one-hour lecture about these magnificent creatures.
