Fantastic trip!
Diving with epica was perfect. The food was great, the Indonesian crew was fantastic, and the diving was amazing. The room was definitely no frills (two bunk beds with AC), but i only went there to sleep at night. Spent most time in the water or up top relaxing. I might suggest putting guests on the other side of the boat, as the generator operating the ac is quite loud for guests at night. The 7 days trip was perfect for me, though i can see more hardcore divers adding a few days to get a little further north. Everything we did could have been done by day trips from the Wassai area, which was fine with me as this was my first time in Raja.

Great!
Two Americans on epica for the week, 19 dives, great food but lots of fried food. Always rice, veggies and protein, we are vegan and always had tofu or tempeh. Easy accommodations with AC! 12 people on board plus staff, two bathrooms. Great staff, always excited to see you! Diving with groups of 3-4. Great experience! Top dives in raja Ampat!

Incredible trip!
We saw so many incredible things like Pygmy seahorses, tons of reef mantas swimming above us, 2 oceanic rays (this was rare!), octopuses, sharks like black and white tip reefs and wobbegongs. Our dive master Rolly was awesome, the food was good, things happened on schedule (I love the punctuality!) and the weather was superb. I’ll remember this forever

Couldn't have asked for a better experience
Josh and his crew did everything they could to make this an unforgettable experience. Everything was perfect from the moment we stepped on the boat until we sadly got dropped back off at the port. If you need 5star accommodations, this isn't for you, but if your looking for great diving, great people and great food could not find a better option.

Amazing diving and wonderful guides
By far, the quality of the diving was the highlight of the trip. All the central Raja Ampat dives were gorgeous. The guides were knowledgeable and safe. Another highlight was the short hike up to the look out in pianemo geo.

An Epic-a Experience
The Epica liveaboard was a wonderful experience! I went in July and got to see some amazing marine animals, the most beautiful corals, and most of the dive sites were only our group or very few other people since it was off season. The reefs were amazing and we even got to see a manta (despite time of year)! The trip had 18 dives and they were all so wonderful, I can't pick one as my favorite. Raja Ampat does not disappoint and totally lives up to the hype. I came here as a new diver and was nervous that I wouldn't be able to hold up but Josh and Stefan quickly helped and guided me to becoming an advanced diver. They're both extremely knowledgeable about the area - both on land and under water. Josh and Stefan went above and beyond to make sure that the trip was amazing and that everyone was having a great experience. In fact, the entire crew of the Epica were amazing and wonderful. The crew were so kind, keep the boat running smoothly, made sure all the gear was good to go, tanks filled, and the chef is amazing. The food was always great and they are accommodating to any food allergies. I feel like 7 days wasn't enough, I could have gone for a few more.

MAGIC!!!
The boat was very well organized and comfortable. The atmosphere was great and crew was friendly and professional. Food was great. The dive sites were above and beyond my imagination. Definitely one of the best experiences I've ever had!!! Highly recommended!!

Epic experience
It is difficult to pinpoint because there were so many. The diving was magical. I have never seen such a variety and great numbers of fish and sea life and the coral/plant life of the reefs were stunning. This is the diving that can bring you to tears of joy. The shore excursions were great too, especially the trip to the Pianemo Viewpoint and the beach BBQ.

Great value for money, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Highlights of the trip were the epic dives followed by great food and vibe above water. No luxury here but great diving with great people for a budget price.
