Built in Sulawesi, which is considered the “boatyard” of Indonesia, Jelajahi Laut is a beautiful phinisi boat constructed in 2021 with local teak wood and ironwood, ready to take you to the hottest dive spots in Indonesia. Jelajahi Laut means “Explore the Sea,” which is exactly what she delivers with expeditions to Komodo, Raja Ampat, Banda Islands, Alor, and Ambon, just to name a few. This traditional phinisi was designed by divers, optimizing the comforts for diver guests with a spacious equipment area and camera station, where you can gear up and prepare for your underwater adventure.
With 6 comfortable cabins onboard, Jelajahi Laut offers an intimate dive cruise for up to 14 guests with a sense of adventure, who appreciate exploring not just the popular dive sites but also some of the remote islands, local villages, and new dive sites. Wonderful ship with excellent crew
My wife and I booked one of the premier cabins on our 6D/5N trip and it was absolutely gorgeous. We loved the beautful windows and the balcony overlooking the stern. The crew was excellent, professional, friendly, helpful, attentive. The cruise director, Camille, was well-organized, enthusiastic and attentive to the guests. I caught an 18-hour stomach bug -- probably from something I ate before I came aboard. Camille made sure that I had all I needed to feel better. Thanks to her attentions, I was back in the water in no time. This was typical of the excellent service my wife and I received on board the Jelajahi Laut. I would sail with this ship and crew again any time, any where!

Great 7day/ 6 night trip in Raja! Would do it again with this crew!
Amazing diving! Top notch crew and dive guides, plenty of food, comfortable cabins, lots of space on the boat for relaxing. Safety was the top priority with a briefing for the boat on day one and dive briefings before each dive. Accommodates up to 14 guests, which was the perfect sizer for me. Chef prepared great meals with a bounty at each sitting! Eric and Camie are top notch cruise directors and the staff was warm, welcoming, and great to hang out with.

Best, liveaboard experience ever
Everything about this trip was fantastic. The crew really made it special with everything from amazing service and taking care of us to the absolutely phenomenal food and being able to spend some moments with the crew and the captain playing the guitar and them singing our excursions and the barbecue They set up for us on the beach was breathtaking. We got rained on but it was still amazing... A truly spectacular trip

Excellent - This is a 1st class operation.
Manta Ridge - (15) mantas came in to be cleaned and were within (2) meters of the group. Playing chess with the crew was cool too.

Fantastic Liveaboard with outstanding staff
Incredible coral and sea life, dives were not only beautiful but diverse with a night dive and some exciting current dives. We dove with our children for the first time and the lead dive guide was able to make us all comfortable and safe. The food was very good and plentiful, and the views from our on board room were unforgettable.

We had a very comfortable experience with a great staff. Dive sites were diverse. Komodo island tour was a bonus treat. Amazing food and presentation. Friendly staff with excellent guidance. Highly recommend!

Fantastic
My husband and I just finished a 10 day/9 night diving trip aboard the Jelajahi Laut with Mikumba Diving. It was our first big liveaboard trip and the experience was superb. Staff was fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and good humored and they worked incredibly hard to make sure we had a blast while keeping safety as their highest priority. The boat is beautiful and spacious, dive deck is dialed, bed was comfortable, and food is good. The Sea View cabin is glorious and absolutely worth the upgrade with its panoramic views and private balcony. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this operator again on a return trip.

We would like to thank Eric and Camille, the cruise directors, and the entire Jelahahi Laut team, for making our stay a truly unforgettable experience! Dive briefings were crystal clear, ensuring that every diver felt safe while maintaining a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We appreciated the upbeat atmosphere created by the themed music, carefully chosen to match the names of the dive sites. This musical atmosphere was even confirmed on the last evening, when the team treated us to a memorable concert and karaoke! The quality of the food on board was also a highlight of this cruise, with tasty and varied meals, also for vegetarians. Excursions on land were perfectly organized, always choosing the most opportune moment to offer us the best visiting conditions and bringing us the best of both worlds. At sea, the crew showed remarkable flexibility, adapting the route according to weather and sea conditions to maximize our enjoyment. They also ensured that we dived at the most convenient times, avoiding underwater crowds and allowing us to enjoy the sites to the full. We even had the privilege of accessing Manta Alley, where we were lucky enough to swim with dozens of manta rays. Whatever the situation, the Mikumba team will always do its utmost to offer you the best possible dives. We have no hesitation in recommending them 100% for an unforgettable dive cruise !

Amazing!
The crew made the trip unforgettable! We loved the diverse itinerary with different dive experiences, beautiful hikes, seeing Komodos and even live music from the crew. This was our first Liveabaord experience and we have been spoiled. 10/10 would recommend!
