MY アメリア・ディスカバリー(MY Amelia Discovery)のヨットは、ダイバーのニーズを念頭に置いたファンタスティックな紅海のリブアボードです。10室のダブルとツインの客室は、20人を快適に収容することができます。すべての客室にはエアコン、専用バスルーム、収納スペースが備わります。メインデッキにはモダンで明るい屋内サロンとダイニングルームがあります。アッパーデッキにはバーと屋外ラウンジがあり、1日の終わりにドリンクや潮風を楽しむのに最適です。またアッパーデッキには、テーブル＆チェア付きのバー付きの屋外ラウンジがあり、トップデッキには日光浴やダイビングの合間にリラックスできる、マットレス付きの広々としたサンデッキがあります。

Im Grossen und Ganzen eine empfehlbare Tour

Die Leute. Weniger gut waren die Matratze (ich bin nicht empfindlich, dich hier hatte ich Rückenschmerzen) und zu grosse Tauchgruppen (10 Leute + Guide) ich genosse desshalb die unguided dices, wo diese verfügbar waren.

Safety concerns!

Safety issues/concerns: 1. No dive qualifications were required e.g. min. # of dives or AOWD certification. The itinerary consists of primarily deep dives with strong currents so is not suitable for dive beginners! As an experienced diver I didn't have any issues, however we had quite a few inexperienced divers on board. One diver had only 10 dives logged and was really struggling! He signed up to do the AOWD certification on board, so was diving up to 40m without proper experience. At the same time the guide had to manage a large group of divers and clearly could not give much attention to students. This is a huge safety concern! For this itinerary the requirement of AOWD level should be standard. In case the operator is offering certifications on board, they need to ensure to have enough staff to handle the course work as well as specific dives for students. 2. Bad air: on one dive the compressed air was polluted, the whole group was experiencing throat ache and severe headaches after the dive. 3. Only 2 dive guides on the boot, therefore the number of divers per guide is too large for this itinerary with primarily deep dives and strong currents. Particularly if you had beginners on board with very few dives logged.

I thoroughly enjoyed my week on the the Amelia.

We were very lucky during our dive on the south side of Elphinstone. Sharks and Dolpins in one dive. This more than made up for the north side and some of the other relatively mundane dive sites. In general if you like diving on reefs with coral gardens / pinnacles or through cave systems that are open to light above then this is the trip for you. The deep south tour is not something you should take if you are more interested in just seeing some sharks.

Tout d'abord je tiens à remercier le personnel de bord du matelot au capitaine en passant par le cuisinier, tous avez été envers nous attentionné, dévoué, discret, le tout..... Toujours avec le sourire. Chapeau Messieurs!!!!!!! Je tiens à rajouter une mention spéciale pour notre Dive Guide Mohamed, remarquable pour l'organisation de ses plongées, toujours à l'écoute, capable de faire plusieurs propositions sur une plongée afin de laisser au plongeurs le choix, le tout bien entendu en parfaite sécurité, je le remercie tout particulièrement pour sa patience, le problème de langue à pu parfois poser quelques soucis de communication, là encore il a su se faire comprendre avec une grande diplomatie et un large sourire. Je vous dis à tous un grand merci, grâce à vous et à la beauté des sites cette semaine fut une réussite. Merci à tous et...bonnes bulles !!!! DIDIER

Wunderbare internationale Reisegesellschaft, Kompitenz und Führungsstil des Kapitäns, Mohammed organisiert alles top, freundlich, fröhlich, pünktlich. Kabinenservice und Speisesaalservice werden von Josef flink, sauber und immer fröhlich erledigt. Die crew ist immer 100% im Einsatz und für Spaß zu haben, tolle Erfahrung.
