Bucket list trip!
This is trully a bucket list experince for experienced divers. The diving can be challenging in terms of depths and currents. The rewards in terms of sharks and other marine life are awe inspiring. The island itself is another adventure, drenched in rain and covered with birds. The vessle is older but very seaworthy. Accomodations are a bit cramped. The food and company onboard is great. Also free beer and wine AFTER diving. The crew are experienced dive guides with careful and consistent attantion to diver safety.

Pretty good, but not as good as expected
Giant mantas, getting pretty close to several sharks and to dolphins. The desserts were great, and the food was pretty good. The service was good and the divemasters were pretty good, but we saw way fewer sharks than expected. On some dives we didn't really see any (besides white tips), and on many dives we were lucky to see one or two. Still, if it weren't for the high expectations, I would say it was great.

Das Boot ist abgenutzt und es gibt wenig Platz/Komfort. Wer kann bucht ein teureres und besseres Boot
Auserhalb der Haisaison (November bis Mai) ist das Meer tendenziell ruhiger und die Sicht klarer und man hat immernoch vereinzelte Sichtungen von Grosfisch. Der Wow Moment bleibt allerdings aus. Dafür muss man wirklich in den Sommer Monaten kommen.

- Die Schlauchboote sind langsam und haben Ausfallerscheinungen. Nitrox und Ölpreis Aufschlag werden vor Ort extra abgewickelt, ebenso wie die Park Gebühren (3% Aufschlag für Kreditkarten vor Ort, die Amerikaner zahlten daher fast alle bar)

Great diving and great service!
The diving is just great! We made 21 dives, hammerheads on all of them. Many other type of sharks and much more fish life than I expected. The crew was fantastic. They were very helpful and friendly! And the food was excellent, probably the best chef in all Costa Rica!
