L'MV Explorer da 25 metri è un'ottima opzione per esplorare le bellezze sottomarine delle Isole Similan, in Thailandia. Immergetevi con le mante a Koh Bon, con gli squali balena a Richelieu Rock e con le splendide barriere coralline delle Isole Surin. Camminate su spiagge incontaminate e fate trekking nella giungla mentre la M/V Explorer vi porta in gite di 3 e 5 giorni alle Isole Similan nel Mare delle Andamane. Le esperte guide subacquee sono più che felici di accettare le richieste di trovare creature speciali come cavallucci marini, pesci ago e nudibranchi.
La MV Explorer dive liveaboard dispone di 8 cabine per 16 ospiti. Ci sono 6 cabine con bagno privato sul ponte inferiore: 2 sono cabine doppie e 4 possono essere configurate come doppie o matrimoniali, a seconda delle esigenze degli ospiti. Ci sono 2 cabine doppie sul ponte intermedio. Tutte le cabine a bordo dell'Explorer sono dotate di aria condizionata, luci di lettura personali, prese di corrente da 220 V e ampio spazio per riporre i bagagli. I subacquei affamati saranno accontentati grazie al cibo preparato al momento durante tutto il giorno; i pasti variano tra la cucina locale tailandese e i piatti internazionali, e su richiesta è possibile soddisfare anche i vegetariani. Per rilassarsi, gli ospiti possono scegliere il lounge & dining o il ponte solare, che è anche un luogo ideale per ammirare le splendide viste e tenere d'occhio i delfini giocosi.

Good trip and experience, however cabin comfort is totally lacking making the trip less enjoyable. My cabin was just a above the engines making it very difficult to sleep and rest, more so when sleepi
As a diver that has been in top diving places of the world, Richelieu rock is the only place with quality diving thanks to abundant marine live. However, the overall experience (with good weather) was positive and I do not regret having done the trip, but I will not repeat the trip due to the poor cabin and mat arrangements.

Die Reise war toll
Unser Guide war einfach nur genial. Er hat mit uns vorher gesprochen was wir sehen wollen,hat uns beim Tauchen ganz viel unter Wasser gezeigt und kam hinterher von alleine auf uns zu und hat uns das Gesehene im Buch gezeigt. Außerdem lernten wir eine Menge von ihm zum Schutz der Korallen und Lebewesen.

Tolle Tauchsafari
Tauchen am Richilieu Rock,wir hatten mehrere Tauchgänge an diesen Platz und das war jedes Mal Atemberaubend.

Can’t expect more from this trip
Special thanks to John, the boat supervisor and my dive guide of the first 5 day trip. His thorough intro to the boat, crew members, safety measures and the trip made it easy for me to get along with trip quickly. He also coached me with my diving skills. Not mention that he brought us to the leopard shark, guitar shark, mating cuttlefish, etc. Get ready early, think more underwater and move slowly on the boat - the three things in my mind throughout the trip~ Highlight of the trip: PI Yaa and PI Wee’s amazing cook! I could feel my wetsuit getting tighter and tighter 😂 PI Oi, PI Yaa, PI Wee, Khao, Bat, Nat, John, Tracy, Jong, Pang, Karlos and Sea Dragon Dive Centre - THANK YOU ALL!

Great Experience
This was my first time to visit Thailand and my first time to do a Livaboard there (obviously 😄). Overall, it was a nice experience. Will I be repeating it again? Not sure since I was expecting better water visibility to be honest😇. The staff were nice, the food was excellent and the plan to visit national parks was fantastic.

Incredible 5 nights 6 days liveaboard experience!
Incredible liveaboard diving experience with Sea Dragon Khao Lak (on MV Explorer)! Our dive masters were true professionals, ensuring safety while guiding us to breathtaking underwater wonders Especially to name dive master Ton, fantastic handholding. The boat crew went above and beyond. Their attentiveness and warmth made it feel like a home on the sea, The food? Simply exquisite! A delicious and diverse culinary journey that added another layer of enjoyment to our trip. Highly recommend !
