Good guide dives and loverly Thai hospitality

We were lucky to see mantas on multiple dives, but have done this trip before and while sea conditions were great, visibility was a lot less then normal and effected the diving and what we could see, Richelieu rock was still amazing, so much going on there, and so much to see, very deserving of it’s reputation, was glad we got to do 3 dives there, but we had mantas at the dome dive site and great schools of baby sardines, the couple of wreck dives you do the last day also had a lot of life and lots to find, again just harder with vis that was available that couldn’t be helped!

Suggerito a:
Think dive leader and our dive guide did a great job on board, there was some guests on board that didn’t make their jobs very easy but think they did well. Boat was very simple but adequate and what you would expect from a more budget Liveaboard.

Great crew, great boat, great crew

Seeing my first Manta’s was definitely a highlight!! I loved waking up each day in a different location! Esteban, Ethan were fantastic guides. We could have gone a little slower underwater as we have cameras, but we still got plenty of footage!!! P-Tip’s food was phenomenal!!! We were very happy with everything, except the aircon in our cabin, it relied on the cabin next to ours having theirs on too, which they didn’t because they had a window allowing beautiful sea breezes in....

Really nice liveaboard

Overall a really nice trip. The crew was really nice, was one of my first dive and I was amazed. We saw huge barracudas and I learned a lot about all types of fishes (part of my training) and imroved my diving a lot. The food was really good and the overall life on the boat very enjoyable. Would recommend to anybody!

Great return to diving

Trip highlights included having small dive groups and placing people in same experience for the most part. The groups had an instructor and a Dive master trainee. If a person liked their air, they were led to the surface, not shortening the other divers length of dive. As a former dive instructor myself I was part of a group of three divers. A newer diver did join the group after the first dive. She had good skills and great on air so it was a pleasant experience. The dive locations were good offering a vast selection of corals and marine life. Of course finding dive sites in pristine condition is hard to do with the coral bleaching and other factors. Some sites had current but the dive crew did their best to minimize the effort to fight the current. On the boat the Thai staff were very pleasant, cheerful, helpful and efficient in working with guests. The dive crew were able to accommodate the multiple nationals on the boat by speaking many languages. The dive briefs were professional and if the divers listened to the brief the dive went well. Only disappointment was the condition of the Prathong Wreck site - nothing the crew could do anything about. The wreck was now nearly turned upside down, as compared to the previous time the crew dived it. It was said to be at a 90 degree. There was enough cover from the current and a ton of marine life considering the age of the site. Poor planning by the organizers of the artificial reef with the placement in current, and insufficient anchoring. Still worth popping in the water to check it out. Overall a great experience. A great bang for the buck.
