La nave da crociera di lusso M/Y Carpe Vita è uno yacht da 38 metri, simile alla Carpe Diem, che presta servizio sull’Oceano Indiano. Ideata per fornire un servizio di prim’ordine, la Carpe Diem Maldive vanta un equipaggio altamente formato, con la missione di garantire una vacanza subacquea perfetta. La Carpe Vita ha 10 ampie cabine disposte su tre ponti, per accogliere fino a 20 ospiti. Ogni cabina è dotata di condizionatore d’aria autonomo, ed un bagno privato.
Nella sala e nel salone troverete una TV a schermo piatto ed un sistema di intrattenimento. Vi sono inoltre tre ampi ponti dove potrete rilassarvi e godere le vedute spettacolari dell’Oceano Indiano. Tutti i ponti sono dotati di eleganti e comodi lettini e divani. Nella zona cena e nel bar situati a poppa, gli ospiti potranno gustare pasti in parte a buffet preparati dal nostro chef di alta cucina.
La Carpe Vita compie crociere di sette o dieci notti presso i migliosi siti di immersione alle Maldive tutto l’anno. Uno staffo locale esperto vi aiuterà ad osservare una fauna che comprende pelagici quali le mante, gli squali e gli suqlai balena, ma anche gamberi, nudibranchi e pesci pipa fantasma. La maggior parte degli itinerari si ferma ai siti di Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head ed al relitto di Machafushi, tra gli altri. Completely forgettable trip to the Maldives
There were no highlights. We saw 2 Manta, 3 eagle rays, no sharks . Granted we ran into bad weather but there are real issues on this boat. The Captain completely ignored the passengers and requests we submitted were not addressed. We were "supposed" to get night dives and a beach excursion...neither of those happened.. We asked the crew -- their response was "depends on the weather" but they never came back to us and explained why they were not going to do those axtivities. We were on this boat for 10 days and we did have good weather on some days The crew did not interact with the guests. I gave diving 2 stars as the viz was horrible. While my guide did his best all of the guests had questions about some of site selections. the dive guides checked the conditions at the start of each dive ..and then came back and had us jump in to 5 -10 ft viz instead of finding a new spot on a couple of occassions All of the 'guests' were kind and courteous but on our last night when we settled our bills/ tipped the crew the captain did not even acknowledge us /say thank you as he left the boat to go into town Worst liveaboard i have ever been on ..and have been on several

Unforgetable experience in the Maldives
Great dive sites where we were fortunate enough to see just about everything we hoped for, including an unforgettable night feed of manta rays. They split us into three groups, each with a local dive guide. Most brought their own scuba equipment, but the crew was able to assist with equipment malfunctions and other needed items for the trip. Small touches the crew did were very appreciated - including helping us celebrate Christmas with a special dinner and a great beach BBQ. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing boat and food - manta dives the highlight!
The trip was great! This was our fourth liveaboard and this boat/the cabins were the most spacious yet :) Amazing food and many options on board for all types of eaters! This was the “Best of the Maldives” tour that visited several atolls and points of interest :)

Friendly vibe, helpful staff, great diving.
The best thing was just living on the Carpe Vita. Beyond that, the captain did a great job of spotting a whale shark and getting us into the water so we could swim with it. Also, our two visits to a Manta cleaning station let us get close to 12 Mantas the first time and 9 the second time. Then the dive guide led us out away from the cleaning station but up at the same level as the Mantas, who ended up swimming alongside us. We also saw tons of sharks and rays. The best diving trip I've ever taken.

Life-changing experience--simply fantastic
Surrounded by mantas, sunset shark dive, the abundance of fish at Fish Head, and the fun, helpful and attentive crew. Simply amazing all around.
