La Mv Gentle Giant ti porta nei siti per immersioni più spettacolari delle Isole Andamane. Coprendo sia il nord che il sud del Mare delle Andamane, i sub potranno esplorare oltre alle famose Similian Island, anche Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon e Koh Tachai, tutti situati verso nord. Ci si sposterà poi a sud per visitare Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point Anemone Reef vicino alla celebre Koh Phi Phi. Questa speciale crociera subacquea dura 5 notti ed è possibile salpare solo 6 volte all'anno tra novembre e aprile: si tratta davvero di un'offerta imperdibile per tutti i sub che vogliono vedere da vicino tutti i siti mozzafiato delle acque cristalline del Mare delle Andamane con 18 immersioni per 6 giorni.
A bordo della MV Gentle Giant, ristrutturata nel 2017, con le sue 10 cabine c'è abbondante spazio per 20 ospiti. Ogni cabina è dotata di aria condizionata, vista mare e cassetta di sicurezza. Ci sono 2 cabine matrimoniali Master e 8 cabine doppie Standard. Per quanto riguarda gli spazi comuni troverai un salone interno con aria condizionata e TV da 55'', mentre all'esterno c'è un terrazzo per cenare al fresco e un solario per prendere il sole. A fantastic dive tour of the Andaman Sea islands and dive sites.
I selected Gentle Giant because of its itinerary. Most boats either dive the northern or the southern Andaman Sea. In the same trip, Gentle Giant visits all the most important and beautiful dive sites on the Indian Ocean coast of Thailand, both in the north and south. From the Richelieu Rocks teeming with life, through the fifty-plus meter visibility of the Similian Islands, to the sharks of Koh Phi Phi, our guides, fluent in both English and Mandarin, put us on all the best spots! The diving was amazing! The staff and crew were super friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh, savory, and abundant, with Thai, Chinese and Western selections. I look forward to diving again with Gentle Giant in the future.

Great Experience!
It was my 1st liveboard and I had a great time. The boat and cabins are rather basic and the dive deck isn't spacious. It felt a bit cramped when everyone was gearing up, even though they always let one group get ready first. It would be good if they would have something soft to lay on the sun deck, so it would be nicer to relax there and catch some sun. The dive leader was a very nice guy and did good briefings. Overall the vibe on the boat was nice. The staff did a great job taking care of us and the food was enjoyable throughout the trip. We all were a bit sad that we only did 1 dive at Richelieu Rock, as it is the best dive site. But they told us the weather was getting bad (other liveaboards didn't go away though). The diving was nice overall, however we were unlucky and didn't see any large palagics. The visibility unfortunately was pretty bad on most dives. Also, I have never experienced such large thermoclines before. On many dives the water dropped from 29 to 23 degrees and I was a bit cold in my 3mm. The thermoclines also created pretty strong currents, that came out of nowhere and went in all kinds of directions. I got used to them, but at first it was a bit scary and sketchy, especially the up- and down currents. Definately not good conditions for beginners. I sure had some adventurous dives in those currents and improved my diving in such conditions. Overall it was a great experience and this liveaboard is a great trip to see the dive sites in the south and north in just one week.

Fabulous people, incredible diving and just a wonderful week!
My partner and I had an incredible week onboard the Gentle Giant. Firstly, everything was very well organised so we were kept well informed of the daily plans. All the crew were excellent - the guides, the chef, stewardess, the boat guys and captain. Everyone was helpful, friendly and really made our stay fun, enjoyable and just really easy. The itinerary was well balanced and we felt that we really made the most of our time on the trip. Our guide, Gai, was very knowledgable and knew the sites well, he made sure we were kept away from larger groups underwater and pointed things out that we wanted to see. Overall, an excellent time - would recommend!

Much more values than I Expected
It was very relaxing to see scenery from the top of the deck. Delicious food was served 4 to 5 times a day, and freshly cooked with a sense of Thai. Crews were very helpful when putting on and taking off the equipment. Guests and crew landed on the Phi Phi Island and watched a fire show after diving at night, which was unexpected. Two whales showed up to the boat.

I was looking for an adventure, but instead I found a family that loves diving as much as I do.
Everyone on the crew was great and made this experience very special. Great group of divers to share this trip with. I felt like I have known them for a long time. Astounding rock formations at Elephant Head. The huge amount of marine life at Richelieu, that is impossible to describe. Must see for yourself. The beauty of Similan. Special thank you to Fei. You will always have my respect and admiration.

Amazing trip with lovely people
The staff and guides welcome you warmly to the liveaboard and do an amazing job in providing a lovely tour. The food is amazing and the dives are very well choosen and guided. For nearly one week we not only had a great trip but also a home. Not to forget the best: Similan and South Andaman are cruised, so the best divesites of both areas are explored!

Tolle Crew und schöne Route
Wir hatten uns zu zweit einen privaten Guide gebucht (weil uns dass sonnst manchmal zu wuselig ist). Anne war klasse! Sie hat sich super toll unseren Interessen angepasst und mir z.B. die geholfen die niedlichsten Nacktschnecken zu finden. Vielen Dank dafür! Ich stehe auf Thailändisches Essen und das war wirklich lecker. Die Bootsbesatzung hilft zum Beispiel beim Ein- und Ausstieg bei rauer See und der Captain steuert das Schiff mit großer Routine um uns im Wasser einzusammeln. Das war wirklich vorbildlich. Das Schiff ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten eine große Kabine oben. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Wenn etwas nicht funktionierte wurde es sofort repariert. Das Bett ist relativ hart… das ist ja Geschmacksache. Die Nord-Süd Tour ist eine empfehlenswerte Kombination verschiedener Highlights. Die Sicht Unterwasser war oft nicht so gut, das Wetter hat nicht immer mitgespielt. Unterwasser gab es regelmäßig sehr kalte starke Strömung. Mein 3.5 mm Halbtrocken war nicht zu warm … und ich bin keine Frostbeule. Zusammenfassung: sehr guter Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Empfehlenswert.
