De 47 meter lange Black Pearl is speciaal gebouwd voor duikers en biedt luxe duikreizen aan in Palau. Stabiel, ruim en veilig: de Black Pearl is volledig uitgerust om fantastische weekrezien naar de meest geweldige duikbestemmingen aan te bieden. De 14 cabines zijn zorgvuldig ontworpen en ingericht om haar gasten de meeste comfort te kunnen bieden. Zo zijn de cabines uitgerust met LED TV's met sateliet kanalen en Apple TV, 5-ster hotelkwaliteit Egyptisch linnen, leeslampjes, airconditioning, kluisjes en een waterkoker. Daarnaast beschikken de ensuite badkamers over gratis oceaan-vriendelijke shampoo en zeep om bewustzijn voor het milieu te stimuleren. De nieuwe latexmatrassen van 200x210 cm met 300-draads Egyptisch zullen de gasten onderdompelen in luxe en comfort.
Voor verdere ontspanning is er een groot zonnedek met comfortabele zonnebedjes, een 12-persoons jacuzzi en een telescoop van geweldige kwaliteit aanwezig om naar de sterren te kunnen kijken. Als toevoeging op de ontspannen omgeving is er een spa met 2 masseuses aanwezig. Het outdoor terras bevindt zich aan de achterzijde van de boot en is de perfecte plek om de dag met de zonsondergang en een korte reflectie af te sluiten.
De Black Pearl beschikt over een groot duikdek met een op maat gemaakt duikstation met persoonlijke opbergruimte voor iedere gast. Wanneer dit opgeteld wordt bij de anti-slip vloer, de 3 indoor douches, een station voor camera-onderhoud met lage druk luchtpistool en werktafel, compressoren uitgerust met luchtzuiverheidsmonitors en 2 volledig uitgeruste duikskiffs, lijkt de Black Pearl de droom van iedere duiker. Palau staat bekend om haar geweldige duikgebieden met een grote variatie aan onderwaterleven. Zo zijn er zeepaardjes, walvishaaien, diepe drop-offs en grotsystemen te vinden in deze wateren.
De Black Pearl vereist geen hoog aantal gelogde duiken, maar om aan deze reis deel te nemen, moeten duikers comfortabel zijn met duiken in stroming, omdat deze op sommige duikstekken onvoorspelbaar en vrij sterk kan zijn. Onervaren en beginnende duikers kunnen sommige duiken als zeer uitdagend ervaren en kunnen door de Cruise Director gevraagd worden om duiken over te slaan die niet geschikt zijn voor hun duikervaring.

The staff and crew made the trip exceptional!
We had a large group that had canceled so there were only 3 guests on the trip. The crew did not hesitate to meet our every need. We had the boat and the dive sites to ourselves. The boat is amazing and new, the food was great, the dive sites were second to none. All of those mean nothing of not for the crew, they made this boat and this trip amazing, the chemistry and service was phenomenal! We have dove on many liveabords and we have never gotten the service and attention to this level, a 10 out of 10

Awesome liveaboard with fantastic crew
Though all the crew were great, the dive masters in particular were exceptional! Ravi, Jeffrey, Russell, and Mohamad are the best dive masters I have had the pleasure of diving with. Knowledgeable, friendly, and fun, they greatly en IHIGHLY recommend diving beautiful Palau on the Black Pearl!

A truly unforgettable family experience!
From the moment you board the Black Pearl you know that you are about to have a unique experience. The boat is luxurious and spacious with many areas available to relax among the three decks and does not feel overcrowded. The cabins are beautifully designed and very comfortable, all with flat screen TV’s and ensuite bathrooms with warm showers. Closet space is limited but it is not really necessary to bring many clothes for this kind of trip. The crew is very kind and friendly and always ready to help. The food is varied with healthy options. One can order eggs for breakfast and there are snacks in the afternoon. One of the two dive boats brought us directly from the Black Pearl to the dive sites and are very well organised with individual storage areas for equipment on them. After each dive, bottles are refilled with Nitrox and the dive suits rinsed and hung up, ready for the next dive. On the first deck of the boat there is a very practical area where cameras and GoPro’s can be changed to have them ready for the next dive. We were surprised by a BBQ dinner on a nearby beach one evening and entire crew put in so much effort to make it a truly magical experience! The dive sites were stunning and we saw many sharks, large schools of fish, cleaning stations, beautiful hard and soft corrals. It was without a doubt some of the best diving we have done so far. Mohammed who was the cruise director was also our dive guide and he was very knowledgeable about each dive site. He was also a lot of fun underwater teaching our children to make ring bubbles which they mastered by the end of the trip. Our 13 year old also completed her Nitrox and Advanced Open Water certification onboard. All in all, we can highly recommend the Black Pearl.

Wonderful trip on a super boat with a fabulous crew in a beautiful country that really seems to care about its nature
Many sharks, very healthy coral, mantas with no apparent fishing line injuries, almost no plastic in the water column, Palau really seems to have policies in place that protect their environment. And the boat and crew were wonderful

One of the Very Best
Black Pearl is a very high-class, carefully thought-through, dive platform with excellent accommodation and facilities. Even the jacuzzi actually works! It is complemented by some of the best Liveaboard Dive guiding we have experienced, with dive guides taking care to ensure everyone sees the "find", and to support weaker divers. This is not normal Liveaboard diving as the mother ship doesn't move that much - dives are carried out from well-built fast speedboats. You can reach most of the sites from shore-based operators, as the area is relatively compact, but that costs an hour at the start and end of each day, sitting in the boat during surface intervals, and probably will cost more overall for the same standard of accommodation, as Palau hotels are not cheap. Palau diving is world-class, and the fish-life everywhere prolific - sometimes its not just the special sightings, but the sheer numbers of different schools of fish. Above water, the Rock Islands and Palau itself well deserves their UNESCO status, well worth the very slightly longer flight from, say, Manila. One of the few dive destinations that is truly pristine - on land and sea. Only downside is the operator really needs a better policy of no-smoking areas on the outside decks so there are some "safe spaces" for non-smokers.
