De 35 meter lange MV Emperor Leo is een slank, luxe jacht voor duikreizen in de Malediven. Binnenlandse vluchten inbegrepen (indien van toepassing). Het jacht is uitgerust met een grote, royale eetzaal met bar en televisie die gebruik kan worden voor zowel maaltijden als ontspanning. Aan dek kunnen gasten ontspannen in de jacuzzi, loungen op de ligstoelen en genieten van een drankje aan de bar. In het restaurant worden iedere dag zowel westerse als Aziatische gerechten geserveerd. Daarnaast is er een volledig uitgeruste bar aanwezig. De MV Emperor Leo heeft een selectie aan cabines beschikbaar die allemaal voorzien zijn van een eigen badkamer, individueel regelbare airconditioning en een ventilator. Haardrogers zijn op verzoek beschikbaar aan boord. Er bevinden zich 8 cabines met een tweepersoonsbed of twee eenpersoonsbedden op het onderste dek, 3 cabines op het bovendek en een Executive Suite aan boord.

Het grootste voordeel van de Emperor Leo is dat alle duiken plaatsvinden vanaf een grote duikdhoni, waardoor er meer leefruimte aan boord van het jacht is. Het duikpersoneel van Leo Maldives helpt haar gasten om zonder problemen van hun duikvakantie te genieten. De duikreizen zijn het hele jaar door beschikbaar en varen langs de beste duikplekken in de Malediven. In februari en maart vaart de Emperor Leo naar de zuidelijke atollen voor spectaculaire kanaalduiken. Gedurende de rest van het jaar vestigt zij zich rond de centrale atollen voor de 'Best of the Maldives'-route. Duikers maken een grote kans om oog in oog te staan met reuzenmanta's, haaien, schildpadden en walvishaaien.

Wir hatten wahnsinnig tolle Tauchgänge mit allem was man sich wünscht und die Crew hat sich an Board um alles gekümmert, damit wir einen Urlaub haben, wen wir so sicher nicht vergessen werden.

Zu den Tauchgängen kann man nur sagen: Haie, Haie, Haie, Mantas, Walhai, Schildkröten etc. was will man mehr. Strömungstauchen bis zum einfachen Entspannungstauchgang. Die kleinen Gruppen im Wasser durch die hohe Anzahl an Guides - Echt Klasse. Danke Danke an die restliche Besatzung - selten so klasse Leute gehabt. Verhungern musste keiner, das Essen war von sehr guter Qualität und für jeden was dabei. Was man sich hier hat einfallen lassen z.B. für Silvester, das Kapitainsdinner, das Barbecue am Strand. Hier gab es ein Highlight nach dem anderen - ähnlich wie unter Wasser. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!!!!

Die Tauchgänge waren ein Traum, nicht nur das insgesamt 4 Guides zur Verfügung standen, nein wir haben alles an Großfisch gehabt, was möglich war.

Everything we expected it to be.

The diving was very good; especially the first shark dive, the first manta dive and the sunset dive. The beach BBQ was nice - unfortunately we were rained out half way through dinner, but it was still fun and a nice break from the boat. It was a very relaxed atmosphere on the boat which was just what we were looking for this trip.

Fantastic crew in a wonderful trip experience with diverse dive spots. Eva, Patrick and rest of the crew will be the best of your valuable time.

Variaty of diving sites, well combined with an unforgettable BBQ in a island. Lots of sharks, mantas and all Maldives fishes and corals will make the best trip combination.

Surpassed our expectations - best holiday yet!

The highlights were all related to the diving, which was really incredible. We saw grey and white tip sharks, nurse sharks, manta ray, turtles, hundreds of moray eels (go to the fish factory dive near Male!), thousands of beautiful fish, octopus, whale sharks etc etc etc. The Dhoni is really comfortable and the refiller tanks are on here, so it's less noisy when on the main boat. The dhoni staff are awesome too! The main boat is really comfortable, with loads of space to chill in the lounge, and huge bean bags and a shaded area on the top sun deck. There is a separate place for smokers, which I appreciated. The cabins in the lower deck are really nice with a massive en suite shower and really comfortable bed. The upper deck cabins have more light, but I don't think the extra cost is really worth it since you don't spend much time at all in the cabin. The food was excellent on the first night, and dropped to average the rest of the nights. Still good, but not quite as good as the first night. There was always lots of food and a good variety, which is nice, but get there fast as it goes cold quickly. The dive instructors were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had excellent briefs before each dive. We had a slight issue with our instructor - I had signalled to him that I was not ok while on a dive, and was ignored. This significantly diminished my trust in him, which made me feel a little exposed and vulnerable in the water because I knew that if anything went wrong, I couldn't turn to him for help or guidance. He was often grumpy and impatient when we asked questions, which was unexpected and made us feel a little unwelcome. However, it wasn't a massive deal, and I still absolutely loved the holiday (the best one yet by far). Other than that, this was an incredible trip, and I would 100% recommend Leo and the Maldives!

Very friendly and good service of the crew and good guides.

Great experience. The service was very good. Equipment was good en reliable. Guides where very friendly, patient and secure. Food was good and had good variety. Great liveaboard for seeing the big stuff and having a luxurious time on the boat. Having the Dhoni besides the main boat makes a big difference in structure of the day and space on the main boat.

Snorkeling in Maldives

It was a great trip for me to relax on. Not being able to dive due to a fractured eardrum snorkeling is what I always do on liveaboards and I always make sure that it is snorkelilng friendly. The first 2,5 days were not snorkeling friendly, nothing to see for a snorkeler and my mood was getting a bit down as all of the divers were seeing everything and it is not a cheap experience either. BUT then Maldives opened up even for me. The big Mantas, black tips, devil rays, whale shark, Mauri wrasses and especially the night dive experience was an extra ordinary experience as in Australia I was not allowed to jump in during the night. So all in all it was a GREAT experience..
