De schitterende Leyla is een zusterschip van de Mantra en is in 2018 speciaal gebouwd voor duikers. Met een 5-sterren service en standaard, legt het Leyla liveaboard de nadruk op design, inrichting en voldoende ruimte aan boord. De vier ruime cabines kunnen maximaal 8 - 12 gasten accommoderen, waardoor dit de ideale plek is voor individuen, vrienden, koppels of groepen. De eerste cabine heeft 1 queensize bed en 1 stapelbed, de tweede cabine heeft 1 queensize bed en de laatste cabine heeft 1 queensize en 1 eenpersoonsbed. Daarmee biedt zij alle mogelijke combinaties van slaapplekken aan. Iedere cabine is uitgerust met een eigen ensuite badkamer, airconditioning, leeslampjes, stopcontacten en opbergruimte.
De openbare ruimtes aan boord van de Leyla zijn ruim en uitnodigend ingericht. De indoor salon en het eetgedeelte zijn uitgerust met airconditioning en beschikken over een entertainment hoek en een comfortabele zit- en eettafel. Aan de achterzijde van de boot bevindt zich een eethoek in de openlucht, waar gasten tijdens hun diner met vers klaargemaakte Indonesische en westerse gerechten ook van het uitzicht kunnen genieten. Daarnaast is er voor de zonliefhebbers ruimte voor ontspanning aan de boegzijde van de boot. Tevens kan men hier in de avonduren genieten van het uitzicht en de sterrenhemel.
De Leyla biedt een variatie aan reizen, waaronder (gedeelde) groepsreizen en privé charters in Indonesië. De reizen variëren in locaties en tussenstops, maar varen allemaal van Raja Ampat naar Komodo. De 'ultieme Komodo reis' is een must voor iedere duiker die de beste duiklocaties van Komodo wil ontdekken. Hier kunnen onder andere een hoop kleine zeedieren als grote vissoorten gevonden worden. De reizen naar Raja Ampat duren 8 of 9 dagen en varen langs Dampier Strait, Misool of Wayag voor ongerepte riffen, stranden en kristalheldere wateren. Het duikdek van de Leyla biedt voldoende ruimte om duikuitrustingen aan te trekken en op te bergen. Daarnaast zijn er aparte spoelbakken voor duikmateriaal en camera's. De compressorruimte is geluidsdicht en bevindt zich in de boeg voor het comfort van de gasten.

Absolutely Amazing - best trip of our lives
I can't say enough good things about our experience on Leyla. While this was our first liveaaboard experience, we have chartered boats previously (Grenadines) and have been diving around the world. I researched boats in Raja ampat heavily, but we ultimately settled on Layla because it was practically new, had several very positive reviews, and was a little more intimate as it had only 4 guest rooms. We loved the boat the minute we set foot on board. Beautiful, comfortable, and just the right amount of space to spread out and relax. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Mattias was our dive master and he worked hard every day to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted out of the diving and our stay. Meals were excellent and plentiful (breakfast was awesome!). Lunches consisted of a variety of Indonesian and western options always with fresh fruit, fresh bread, and often fresh fish - so delicious. We were also greeted with fresh juice cocktails after the last dive every day, and snacks later between the last dive an dinner. The rooms are beautiful and kept impeccably clean by the staff (Arty is the best!). AC in every room, en-suite bathrooms and comfortable beds. I stayed nice and cold through the night which meant I slept like the dead every night after diving all day :) And what can I say about the diving? Its mind blowing. Mattias adapted quickly to our speed and was extremely calm and knowledgeable - and always checked in with us to make sure we were happy. He knew the dive sites well (a few he was diving for the 1st time as he had been on another boat previously that didn't visit the same sites) and always had interesting things to point out. Overall I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Layla and I hope I can someday return. We made great friends on the boat as well which definitely made the week fun and we truly feel this was the best vacation of our lives.

The experience that exceeds expectations
This trip was superb right from the start. We had troubles with our flights in to Labuan Bajo (cancelled last min) and Retha was quick to help us troubleshoot and accommodate us departing 1 day later. The entire crew, including dive guide Dodi, was professional and went to lengths to make us feel comfortable. Adjustments were made to the itinerary to the South as the initial 2 dives in the North yielded poorer visibility. On this trip, we saw Mantas, reef sharks, so many green and hawksbill turtles, schools of larger fishes such as sweet lips and trevallis. Macro-life was also in abundance with nudibranch, zebra crabs and ladybugs. The diversity and richness of coral reefs were particularly heartening for us, as it is the base rock to the vast and complex marine ecosystems in the coral triangle. Great to see how well preserved and untarnished it is. Thank you Retha, Dodi and crew for the memorable experience! we will definitely look forward to more dives in Indonesia with the team at Leyla!

Overall disappointing
The boat is beautiful. Local Crew is very friendly. However, diving was dangerous as dive crew didnt know the dive sites and we only had one dive guide for 8 people. We are very disappointed because we chose the boat to have a great diving experience. In fact, this boat is listed with many agents and advertises different cruises to the guest. Hence, expectations vary a lot. If you just want to spend time on a beautiful boat go ahead, if you are looking for good diving chose another operator. The overall organisation was really bad. We got one day less on the boat than promoted and starting point/times were not as per itinery and not communicated to the guests. We could have taken different flights and waste less time in Sorong, when the operator would have communicated the right timings.

Amazing experience to repeat!
Leyla is a wonderful sailboat, almost brand new and designed with good taste and detail to perfection. Our stay was as comfortable as it could be, with all the commodities we could've asked for. The staff were all super friendly and professional, kept constant attention on us guests, anticipating all our needs and spoiling us all the time. Food was amazing from breakfast to dinner, from start to finish, fresh ingredients and delicious taste and variety - never disappointed! We had amazing dives in Komodo, dive guides were experienced and knowledgeable of the area, the equipment rented was in perfect shape, practically new. I can't wait for another opportunity to get back aboard Leyla, next time in Raja Ampat!
