Het prachtige 'boutique'-cruiseschip de Fiji Princess organiseert trips van drie, vier en zeven nachten naar de prachtige eilanden Mamanuca en Yasawa op Fiji. Bezoek het warme, heldere en turquoise water en de witte zandstranden met palmbomen, en maak kennis met de warme cultuur van Fiji. De 55 meter lange Fiji Princess heeft 34 hutten van goede kwaliteit en kan daarmee maximaal 68 gasten welkom heten. Alle hutten bevinden zich boven de waterlijn en hebben grote ramen zodat je goed naar buiten kunt kijken. Ook hebben de hutten voldoende opbergruimte, airconditioning, televisie met dvd-speler, haardroger, handdoeken en en-suite badkamer. In de Orchard-hutten op het midden- en bovendek staat een fruitplateau voor je klaar en is er een gevulde minibar (met een flesje water, frisdranken, bier en wijn) en kun je zelf koffie- en theezetten. Er is veel ruimte aan boord om lekker te ontspannen, bijvoorbeeld op de ligstoelen op het bovenste 'sky-dek', in het kleine zwembad of aan de bar. In de Senikai Spa kun je genieten van heerlijke massages en schoonheidsbehandelingen. In het buitenrestaurant worden heerlijke maaltijden opgediend met prachtige landschappen op de achtergrond. CONSTANT cancellations despite bright sunny weather!! Over half of activities cancelled.
The staff were great but we would never recommend this cruise because the activities were CONSTANTLY cancelled, ostensibly in the name of weather and safety. Just how dangerous are these islands? Even when it was bright and sunny (which was every day but one) there was SOMETHING said to be going on that meant (they said) we couldn’t do the activity that was planned (wind here, wind somewhere miles down the line, swell, theoretical rain, whatever). Of the billed activities these were all cancelled during our May trip: village trip, guided snorkelling at private island, school visit, lovo barbecue and beach dinner, manta ray snorkelling, meke dance performance, village dinner, “sky dinner”, day hike; and Yalobi Bay visit.

Lots of opportunities for some good snorkeling in beautiful warm and clear waters. Despite bad weather predictions we had mostly sunny, if humid, days where beach trips and lazing in the water was the name of the game. Met some interesting people from around the world, all very friendly and happy to chat. The warmth of the Fijian people is evident everywhere, although it can sometimes feel a little like oversell in promoting themselves looking for return visits. Enjoyable trip, but we'll look elsewhere for our next overseas adventure.

- Beautiful locations in the warm waters of the Yasawa Islands of Fiji. Great snorkeling in a wide variety of locations especially for smaller tropical fish. Super friendly staff although you need to get used to their "Fiji time" concept which is not fast paced.

Great experience
We was cruising with Blue Lagoon 30 years ago and we loved it. This year cruise was very nice but we lack of entertainment provided by by singing and guitar-playing crew in the evening on the ship. Instead there were disco with quite old fashion music. It is a long way from the image of the islands. Visit to the Sawa-I-Lau Caves: the first cavern is ok, but the second one was overcrowded. Impossible to admire quietly this limestone cave. It is really necessary to make two groups (as announced), max 10 person. The same in the underwater passage, let people by 2-3 go through, rest 2 minutes, so they have time to proceed further and their eyes to get used to dark, before next small group arrive.
