Als zuster schip van de Nautilus Belle Amie, werd de 35m lamge Nautilus Explorer Liveaboard speciaal gebouwd voor duikers om de geweldige locaties van Guadalupe en de Socorro-eilanden in Mexico te verkennen. De Nautilus Explorer Liveaboard biedt voldiende ruimte, en stelt comfort en veiligheid voorop, terwijl je een uitzonderlijk duikavontuur tegemoet vaart. De Nautilus Explorer liveaboard telt 13 hutten, deze variëren van de budget cabine voor drie personen tot de luxe suite.
Er is voldoende ruimte om te ontspannen aan boord van de Nautilus Explorer Liveaboard. Op de bovenste verdieping kunnen duikers zich ontspannen op een groot zonnenterras, er is ook een hot tub-dek waar gasten kunnen ontspannen met glas wijn of koel biertje onder de avondsterren. Het grote salon bevindt zich net voor het duikdek en is voorzien van comfortabele banken, omringd door grote schermen, speciale PC- en Mac-computers en een 42-inch plasma-tv. Maaltijden worden vers bereid door de Nautilus Explorer chefs, en alles wordt vers gemaakt met lokale producten, inclusief brood en gebak dat aan boord worden gebakken.
Aan de achtersteven vindt je het duikdek met een 5 ton wegende Hydraulische kraan, waterplatform en versterkte stalen dek. Dit maakt ons ook in staat om een witte haaienkooi het water in te laten en film en wetenschappelijke bemanning te ondersteunen. De Nautilus Explorer brengt duikers naar de meest geweldige duikplaatsen van de Socorro-eilanden, beroemd voor hun mantaroggen, bultrugvissen en grote scholen vissen.

Best Liveaboard Yet!
This was far and away my most highly-anticipated liveaboard yet, and it strongly delivered. So much life for such a remote location, where we were the only boat present most days at every site! The dive crew worked tirelessly to haul our gear after every dive, something I hadn't expected, and they were very knowledgeable about every site and provided amazing guidance underwater. Nobody works harder than these guys! Chef was very attentative to my dietary restrictions, and the hostesses were endlessly accomodating and went above and beyond. Very big plus for me as a solo diver that they were able to provide Wifi (extra charge - don't mind a bit), so that my loved ones back home knew I was okay! My only advice to others is be mindful this boat rocks - as in, in the waves. Had never been seasick before this trip, and was naive not to take meds before the big crossing thinking the boat was going to be more stable than it was. Come armed with dramamine, and you'll be set for a truly unforgettable trip!

Amazing
The crew was amazing! they truly made us feel special! Great food and service ! the cabin was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom could be bigger but it's a boat so no surprises there. The marine life was outstanding ! Loved every minute and can't wait to go back !!!

A happy ship that delivered unforgettable diving in challenging circumstances
The diving in Cabo Pearce (Socorro) was astounding, with intimate manta encounters, dolphins crossing our group, and a school of over 50 hammerheads — all on a single dive. We saw hammerheads on the majority of our dives, as well as silvertips, Galapagos, silkies, and white tips. The shark action at Roca Partida was phenomenal. And at several sites there were large schools of jacks of the sort one finds at Cabo Pulmo. Lots of octopus and nudis too. We had no sightings of whales or whale sharks, and visibility was sometimes rather limited due to two January storm fronts that scrambled things a bit. There is no longer a night silky snorkel due to new Mexican government regulations. The return crossing was a bit bumpy as well. Overall however we had an excellent time, with a friendly crew that does whatever it takes to deliver a great experience, is accommodating of solo divers, and keeps divers well fed and cared for. We had divers from France, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, the UK, Russia, Taiwan, Mexico, Argentina, and the US, and the group was a joy. This is not a cheap trip but it’s a very solid value for the money, and I would certainly go back.

Dolphins and Tigers and Mantas, Oh My!
the dolphins and mantas are so friendly--they really come right up to you and seem to want to interact with you. The one con of the trip was the customer service leading up to the trip. Every question seemed to take forever to get an answer, and logistics weren't clearly communicated in advance or well handled. Once we were onboard though, everything was smooth sailing :)
