De Almonda is een ruime 40 meter lange liveaboard die 24 gasten, in 12 van airconditioning voorziene passagierscabines, meeneemt op reis naar de Rode Zee. Er zijn 2 Master passagierscabines met queensize bedden, 8 Deluxe cabines met twee eenpersoonsbedden en 2 tweepersoonshutten, elk met een queensize bed. Elke cabine heeft een privé badkamer, matrijzen en een haardroger. Ook is er een 32-inch tv in elke cabine met keuze uit ruim 400 films. De tv kan ook worden gekoppeld met een computer, waardoor je de kans krijgt om hierop video’s te editen.
De Almonda is ruim en comfortabel, met een grote salon en zonnedek. Het heeft ook een jacuzzi, ligstoelen en een bar. Ook is er een, van airconditioning voorziene, salon met een 50-inch flatscreen tv. Verder is er een groot restaurant op het hoofddek. Alle maaltijden, snacks en drankjes zijn inbegrepen bij de reis, en ook is er een breed scala aan avondactiviteiten, zoals duiken, vispresentaties, films en spelletjes. Er is een kleine bibliotheek met ruilboeken aan boord, en ook boeken over verschillende soorten vissen kan je lenen. Elke duiker krijgt zijn eigen apparatuur, en voor gecertificeerde duikers is er ook nitrox. Het duikplatform is erg ruim, en voor de verre excursies zijn er 2 zodiacs.

The reefs are pristine, corals are in amazing conditions, sharks, tuna, diverse marine life. The guides Ahme and Magdie were amazingly experienced and made the diving safe and nice. The crew is super friendly and nice. Food very nice.

Hammer heads, Tiger, Silky's, Grays, white tips, Black tips, and 100's of Dolphins. Crew were amazing, food awesome. Negatives Bed uncomfortable, AC so noisy it couldn't be used whilst in room but still fantastic trip

Dolphins! A pod of dolphins came and visited us and we were able to snorkel with them. The coral unfortunately was bleached in many places, and though there were lots and lots of small fish (damsel fish, pullers, anemone fish, chromis), there were very few large ones (some bumphead parrots) and not many medium-sized ones (squirrels, groupers). (I'm probably using Caribbean names for Red Sea fish, sorry.) We did see a few turtles. The coral pinnacles were magnificent.

Pristine coral reefs in Red Sea
Beautiful dives, a lot of small fish on coral reef. Unfortunately we couldn't see many pelagics (not the right period). Crew and guides helped us to make a comfortable trip and safe dives. Food was very good, specially lamb! Some maintenance to be done on the boat. They told us new speedboats are coming to replace rubber boats. I can recommend this boat and Farasan Banks itinerary!

Beautiful dives, a lot of small fish on coral reef. Unfortunately we couldn't see many pelagics (not the right period). Crew and guides helped us to make a comfortable trip and safe dives. Food was very good, specially lamb! Some maintenance to be done on the boat. They told us new speedboats are coming to replace rubber boats. I can recommend this boat and Farasan Banks itinerary!
