O MV Explorer, de 25 metros, é uma ótima opção para explorar as belezas submarinas das Ilhas Similan, na Tailândia. Mergulhe com arraias em Koh Bon, tubarões-baleia em Richelieu Rock e conheça os lindos recifes das Ilhas Surin. Passeie por praias desertas e caminhe pela floresta ao longo das viagens de duas ou três noites oferecidas pelo M/V Explorer na região das Ilhas Similan, no Mar de Andamão. Os experientes guias de mergulho estão sempre disponíveis para ajudar a encontrar criaturinhas como cavalos-marinhos, peixes-cachimbo e nudibrânquios.
A bordo, o live aboard de mergulho MV Explorer possui oito cabines, recebendo até 16 hóspedes. Há 6 cabines com banheiro no convés inferior: 2 são cabines duplas e 4 podem ser configuradas como duplas ou gêmeas, dependendo das necessidades dos hóspedes. Há 2 cabines duplas no convés intermediário. Todas as cabines a bordo do Explorer possuem ar-condicionado, janelas com vista para o mar, luzes de leitura pessoais, tomadas de 220v e amplo espaço de armazenamento. Mergulhadores famintos poderão se deliciar com refeições preparadas no local, variando entre a culinária tailandesa e pratos da cozinha internacional. Vegetarianos também podem ser bem recebidos, avisando com antecedência. Para relaxar, os hóspedes podem escolher entre os salões climatizados com sistema de entretenimento completo ou as áreas abertas, onde é possível se bronzear enquanto golfinhos brincam nas águas ao redor.

Good trip and experience, however cabin comfort is totally lacking making the trip less enjoyable. My cabin was just a above the engines making it very difficult to sleep and rest, more so when sleepi
As a diver that has been in top diving places of the world, Richelieu rock is the only place with quality diving thanks to abundant marine live. However, the overall experience (with good weather) was positive and I do not regret having done the trip, but I will not repeat the trip due to the poor cabin and mat arrangements.

Die Reise war toll
Unser Guide war einfach nur genial. Er hat mit uns vorher gesprochen was wir sehen wollen,hat uns beim Tauchen ganz viel unter Wasser gezeigt und kam hinterher von alleine auf uns zu und hat uns das Gesehene im Buch gezeigt. Außerdem lernten wir eine Menge von ihm zum Schutz der Korallen und Lebewesen.

Can’t expect more from this trip
Special thanks to John, the boat supervisor and my dive guide of the first 5 day trip. His thorough intro to the boat, crew members, safety measures and the trip made it easy for me to get along with trip quickly. He also coached me with my diving skills. Not mention that he brought us to the leopard shark, guitar shark, mating cuttlefish, etc. Get ready early, think more underwater and move slowly on the boat - the three things in my mind throughout the trip~ Highlight of the trip: PI Yaa and PI Wee’s amazing cook! I could feel my wetsuit getting tighter and tighter 😂 PI Oi, PI Yaa, PI Wee, Khao, Bat, Nat, John, Tracy, Jong, Pang, Karlos and Sea Dragon Dive Centre - THANK YOU ALL!

Great Experience
This was my first time to visit Thailand and my first time to do a Livaboard there (obviously 😄). Overall, it was a nice experience. Will I be repeating it again? Not sure since I was expecting better water visibility to be honest😇. The staff were nice, the food was excellent and the plan to visit national parks was fantastic.

Incredible liveaboard diving experience with Sea Dragon Khao Lak (on MV Explorer)! Our dive masters were true professionals, ensuring safety while guiding us to breathtaking underwater wonders Especially to name dive master Ton, fantastic handholding. The boat crew went above and beyond. Their attentiveness and warmth made it feel like a home on the sea, The food? Simply exquisite! A delicious and diverse culinary journey that added another layer of enjoyment to our trip. Highly recommend !
