Highlights
Join the Sokaraja phinisi for a fantastic budget dive liveaboard trip in Komodo, Indonesia. Itineraries are 3 to 5 days long, with 2-4 daily dives available. While exploring the Komodo National Park, guests can dive with giant manta rays, reef sharks, and turtles and see cool critters such as flamboyant cuttlefish, seahorses, and frogfish on a macro night dive. Besides diving, there is the chance to visit the flying foxes, trek with Komodo Dragons on Rinca, and sunset hikes on Gili Lawa Darat.

Amazing diving, DMs, boat, and crew
We had an amazing 4 days on the Sokaraja. Everything from the dive masters, to the crew, to the food was perfect. Our DM Luca (and shoutout to Erik!) kept us safe in the strongest of currents and we had amazing dives every time. The crew and chef kept us constantly fed with great food and the best sambal ever. The dive briefings were so fun - 100% recommend!

An incredible four days
Well I could go on and on about how this boat was absolutely amazing. From the crew on board, the dive guides, the on land excursions, to the food… everything far and away exceeded expectations! Truly the most amazing thing we’ve spent money on in 3 months of travel. I could not recommend Sokaraja enough!

Best Experience!
Our Liveaboard with Sokaraja was the best experience during our one month trip in Indonesia! The crew is just the best and will make your stay with them perfect. But we're here for the diving, right? So how was it? We loved every single dive! Komodo is such a great place for diving because you have a lot of different topographies, currents, corals, fish and so on. So we saw a lot of amazing things down there. Turtles, sharks, mantas...you name it. You'll get a detailled briefing with a meticulous and beautiful handdrawn map of the divesite right before every dive. And when you're not diving you can relax on the really nice boat, play some games, go for a swim or have fun with the crew. The food was also nice and everyone got their bellys stuffed :) We had the dorm cabin but slept under the stars on deck which was also amazing and since there is no light pollution you can see the milky way and sooo many stars! The value for the money is the best. We really recommend doing the trip with Sokaraja :)

Excellent!
It was a very well-run trip. I had some misgivings about choosing a budget option as I guess sometimes budget means they might tend to lower the quality but it was extremely good. I did 14 dives in 5 days and could have done a 2nd night dive had I chosen to do so. But yes, very well run, great food and the owners - Luca and Beauty - put on a great trip for what was to be their last one of 2023 before a refit.

Excellent experience!!
The team aboard the boat are extremely good. Very professional, safe and know the dives sites well. Luca the owner who was my instructor/dive guide was fantastic and has decades of experience along with his dive team and experienced boat crew. Also a big shout out to the chef who managed to feed us really well and keep the food very interesting and super tasty! Also a big thank you to the boys who made things so much easier with their help. There was 10 guests and 11 staff which makes running the boat a smooth operation. The dive equipment is professional and well looked after to a high standard. They took us to some beautiful spots to rest and relax after doves, the views are breathtaking. I would 100% go with Sokaraja again next time I do a live aboard purely for safety and the dive knowledge the team have. Thanks again guys and take care!

4 jours de rêve absolu
On a tout vu… plusieurs fois ! Mantas, tortues , requins, hippocampe, coraux,… belles excursions aussi. Rythme parfait… 3 plongées par jour c’est suffisant. Quelques plongées avec pas mal de courant… qui justifient le niveau advanced avec un peu d’expérience. Guide et équipe fantastique… sécurité, liberté, professionnalisme, fun… le patron est super. Que du bonheur. Le rapport qualité/prix est incroyable.

100% recommend
I cannot recommend enough the Sokaraja and his team. I had an amazing 4 days on the boat and it was definitely not enough! First of all, you could tell that the guides were still passionate about what they were doing, they gave detailed briefing and were really nice to hang out with, both above and below water. They managed the schedule so well, we were always the first ones on the dive sites or the island trips, and being a "small" group of 10, it felt like we had the dive sites to ourselves, that's definitely a huge plus when you see the other boats jumping with 30 divers... The amenities were simple but clean, the food was delicious and diverse, there was Nutella onboard, the crew was helpful and friendly, and the vibe on the boat was overall super nice and relaxed, I totally disconnected from the real world. Lastly, Komodo National Park is really world-class diving, having myself dived in a lot of countries, it ranked top 1 pretty easily, don't hesitate, just book Sokaraja ;)

Always recommendable
Seeing the huge diversity under water in Komodo with Mantas, so many turtles and sharks, fish schools and so on. The life on board was really relaxed, the crew was cool and we were taken care of very well.
