Highlights
The Ocean Lovers is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard with 5 decks taking 32 guests on dive safaris in the Red Sea. There are 10 double cabins and 6 suites with views, all air-conditioned and equipped with private showers and toilets. The saloon and dining area on the main deck is perfect for relaxing. Entertainment options include a 65-inch LCD TV, a DVD player, and a sound system. In addition, the Ocean Lovers offers free Wi-Fi throughout the ship as long as a mobile signal is available. The Ocean Lover's 2 sun decks are spacious, with sun loungers, lazy bags, hammock swing chairs, and a hammock swing. Ideal for relaxing between dives, reading a book, or enjoying the sunset. Part of the sun deck is shaded, so guests always have a choice of whether they prefer the sun or protection from the heat.
The Ocean Lovers offers the chance to explore the famous Red Sea wrecks and reefs, including the Tiran diving area, composed of four main reefs that form an underwater bridge near the Gulf of Aqaba. Named after British cartographers (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon), these reefs are famous for their coral life and large pelagic fish. Expect a combination of wreck and reef diving, with the Northern Red Sea boasting impressive wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm. Other sites include Abu Nuhas, the "Ships Graveyard," and the Brothers Islands, with their thriving marine life and colorful corals. Anticipate encounters with reef sharks, eagle rays, oceanic white tip sharks, Napoleon fish, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and more.

Exceeded Expectations
It was my first liveaboard and I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I knew my expectations for the food on board was low. Ocean Lovers served amazing meals everyday and they were all made out of fresh ingredients and tasted very delicious and satisfying! The crews were above and beyond trying to make us feel welcomed and comfortable on the boat. The boat itself is very well maintained and well cleaned! Nice interior. My favorite dive guide was Karim, he was very patient with all divers on board with varying diving skills. Ocean Lovers definitely set up a really high standard for my next liveaboard adventures.

At first we didn't know what to expect, and we were quite skeptical about this kind of trips. Ocean Lovers surpassed all our expectations and we had the time of our lives. The boat is truly amazing, the crew does EVERYTHING for you, dive guides are super friendly and the food and drinks included are above average. Super recommendable

Very good boat with some small things that can be improved
We had a very good trip. Diving was done in a professional way, we had some really good dives! It would be better if it was not allowed without at least 50 dives. We had some beginners with less than 20 dives, soaking the tank in 35 minutes. Food was overall very good, sometimes my vegetarian wife had not a lot of to choose from, because of fish in the salad for example. The ship was super clean and the boat crew very helpful, friendly and funny. Dive Guides did a very good job, especially considering the extra stress, guiding unexperienced divers to Thistlegorm with hard current. Thanks guys!

Wonderful boat and crew!
We did the BDE itinerary, unfortunately with very few sharks, but we knew it was not the main shark season. The boat was amazing, the guides were very knowledgable and cared a lot about the reef and we always felt safe while diving. The boat crew was always smiling and in for a joke and most of them spoke reasonable English. The food was very good, especially the dinners. The rental gear was also good quality. Wonderful!

Unforgettable
This was my first liveaboard experience, and it has been amazing! The dive guides Zizo and Mohammed made sure we were briefed before every dive and diving safely. The crew were very friendly and helpful, the cabins were cleaned and tidy almost after every dive. I would highly recommend this liveaboard to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Safe, clean and very fun
The boat is beautiful and cleaned multiple times a day, all the staff were really nice and approachable always ready have a laugh. The dive guides Karin, zizu and Mohammad were very safe and knowledgeable and also easy to get a long with and made the dives enjoy. Would highly recommend

Brilliant trip!
The boat crew was very pleasant and helpful, the diving was excellent quality and the boat was very beautiful and comfortable. Definitely recommend it for anyone considering a liveaboard in Egypt!

Amazing experience
We had a great time on board the Ocean Lovers on the Northern Route. Will try to break my experience down for you: Boat: the boat is new and spacious, with enough room to socialise and also be on your own if you want to. The cabins are a good size and very clean (you’ll find everything tidied up after your first morning dive – great service!). The towels and robes are plenty and get changed mid-week. The boat is very well kept and the crew does deep cleaning regularly over the week. There are 2 freshwater 'pools', a charging station and the diving deck is roomy - overall very easy to use. Food: I was a bit worried about this one, and have to say it exceeded my expectations! We had 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner) with lots of choices. The food was delicious, really tasty with a great combination of local and non-local food (local food all day everyday – it was amazing!). Lots of salads, veggies, eggs, meat and fish – a great variety. And the desserts were great! You get a drink waiting for you after each dive and we even got cake made for our birthdays (had 3 celebrations on board!). The staff looking after the halls were very perceptive and thoughtful. We asked for non-dairy milk beforehand (as I’m intolerant) and they made sure we had it ready. The service was better than the 5 star resort we stayed in beforehand, hands down. Crew: The crew is just fantastic, always smiling and ready to help. Hats off to them all for creating a great atmosphere on board. They have 3 boats they use to get you to/from dive sites and they were always super quick and supportive – we never waited for them to get us in the water. The operations run neatly, including filling of tanks and cleaning of equipment. They are very attentive, kind and fun to be around. Dive guides: The guides were amazing, very professional and experienced. The briefings were done properly, prioritising safety – it left me confident to dive each time. They were always ready to answer any questions and were great fun both under and above water. I particularly appreciated the fact they dived ethically, making sure there was no impact on the environment/coral. (I know this should go without saying but unfortunately I had experiences in the past that differ from this). Dives: The dives were great, a mix of wrecks, reefs and drift dives. I particularly loved the Thistlegorm wreck and our underwater encounter with dolphins. We were split into 3 groups based on experience, each group with an appointed guide. This allowed for a smoother experience for everyone. We were very lucky to meet some great people on board and the overall atmosphere was one of comradery and playfulness. Thank you team Ocean Lovers, we’ll definitely be back!
