Trip of a lifetime and we loved our ship (Galaxy Diver) crew, and Naturalist guide, Renny!
Snorkeling with sea turtles, penguins, stingrays, and reef shark. Seeing the giant tortoises, the blue footed boobies, and penguins. Learning the history and culture of the Galápagos Islands. New and exciting adventures and treasures each day.

EPIC and Excellent Service
Dives were epic. The guides were very safe and thorough in the briefing. It was obvious that Jorge really loves ❤️ what he's doing and has a passion and enthusiasm for nature. Food was exceptional and Juanito the bar tender did a fantastic job serving food and making cocktails. Wine selection was dismal but simple cocktails were very nice. Cipriani

Good liveaboard with areas of improvement
Positives: The destination and wildlife were very unique and beautiful. The food was simply excellent and the staff was very helpful. One of the dive guides was really sweet and made sure everyone enjoyed the dives in a safe way. Areas for improvement: One engine failed early on the trip, causing two day dives to be lost, one in Darwin. While the crew did their best, we still lost the two morning dives where you typically have better visibility and activity. The dives were worth hundreds of dollars yet no monetary compensation was provided. We wanted to extend our stay and not even a rebooking of flight was covered when asked, nor effective support to rebook at our own cost. Additionally, while one guide was great, the younger one was arrogant and didn’t communicate clearly underwater, nor ensure that the group was able to stay together during the dives. He made rude comments to both guests and the other guide when there were misalignments. Being on the pricey end of liveaboards, the rental dive gear, the boat/crew capabilities and professionalism of the one guide could be improved. While we still had a great time, however I would prefer another company for a second time in Galapagos. Feedback is a valuable gift and I hope future customers have an improved experience.

Adventure Week!!
What a great trip! Guides worked hard to give us the best diving possible which seems challenging in this El Niño year unfortunately. Nonetheless the hammerheads were plentiful, sharks galore, a whale shark and the shock of a lifetime - a tiger shark!!! Diving in the Galapagos is like no where else. The boat crew was fantastic and super helpful with equipment, tanks and ensuring everything was done safely.
