A great Raja Ampat trip
We've done both Komodo (2019) and Raja Ampat (2025) on the Mermaid I and we've enjoyed both trips very much! Super easy logistics, towels and drinks after each dive (and hot drinks after each night dive!). Long 70 minute dives (60 for night dives) with 4 divers per guide. A plus that they now have Starlink internet also!

Amazing diving experience on Mermaid 1
The dive sites were beautiful with healthy coral and reef. In south Komodo, we had a chance to witness 20 odd mantas swimmers above us. I stayed in the single cabin and it was comfortable and clean.

Great boat, great staff, good food
Terrific coral and macro life in Raja Ampat, also some mantas. Beer on board was affordable. Food was good, better than expected. Staff is very friendly and all seem happy to be working on the boat. Dive layout for the boat is fantastic. Loved the diving, except for the muck dives

Great diving in Komodo
Great diving in the Komodo area, the reefs are very healthy and there is a good abundance of fish, turles and reef sharks. The boat is very comfortable and the crew is smiling and kind. There is a very good local dive guide on board (Rama) and it was great diving with him. Food was usually very food. Great stable boat to dive this area where the waters can be rough.

The exceptional teamwork of the crew, together with the diversity of diving from the muck dives in Lembeh to the pelagics of Tifore and the excitement of Raja Ampat made this trip A1.
Muck diving in Lembeh. Dani's first marlin! Oceanic mantas and Gin o' Clock with Mike and Paivy!
