Amazing Bahamas Explorations, Bahamas in October

After the hurricane I wasn't expecting the diving to be great but our knowledgable captain made the call and headed out to Eleuthera were there was less wind and currents. Diving was great, visibility as well weather didn't cooperate but you can't book the weather. Staff was amazing food was to die for overall a trip worth every penny

I've experienced better dive sites in other locations, but I have never had as much fun on a liveaboard. Bahamas Explorations, Bahamas in April

Close encounters with Southern rays and reef sharks and the jovial, accommodating staff.

Great on board service and good diving Bahamas Explorations, Bahamas in January

It as a good trip. We were not very lucky with the weather and having the AC on during the cold was a bit odd. Diving was good, but again we were unlucky with the large stuff. The crew was amazing when a squall came up unexpectedly and got everyone back on board at significant risk to themselves. While I expect some divers appreciate the freedom, we vastly prefer the model where a dive master, familiar with the site, leads a group of 6-8 divers. On this boat, navigation is mostly left up to the individual diver which we find unnecessarily stressful. Having to secure our bathroom door with a bungy cord and having to store our suitcases in an already crowded cabin was also a bummer and not up to standards on other boats.

Very good Crew Bahamas Explorations, Bahamas in January

The Crew was excellent, and so was their service. The Chef David prepared delicious food, and soups. We got into a Squall and had two divers in the water and the captain and crew performed in the finest professional manner, getting them safely back on board in over 50 mph winds and over 8 foot swells. Some wanted the DMs to do more leading on the dives--only because they know better than us where the critters are hiding. We didn't see nearly as much underwater life as I expected. What saved the underwater part of the trip was the large numbers of Caribbean Reef Sharks--I got great shots of them. Make sure everyone who goes in late December and in January knows to bring sweatshirts and jackets, for it was pretty cool and windy.

The Highlights: Sharks and Swimming Pigs Bahamas Explorations, Bahamas in November

My husband and I went on the Caribe Dancer the end of November 2015. The routing covered some of the Exumas and Eleuthrea dive sites. We found the crew excellent. Captain Dennis did his best to accommodate all guest requests for special dive sites including a trip to see the swimming pigs at Pig Beach. Chef Shay kept everyone well fed and adhered to special dietary requests of all the guests. Jason, Gabby and Celeste - the other 3 boat crew were friendly and helpful. The target was to offer up to 5 dives per day and every diver was allowed to dive their tank to 750 psi. A dive guide was in the water on every dive but you were allowed to dive your own profile. All of the dives were from the boat that was anchored or moored and that's where you started and ended your dive. There was a dinghy to be used for pickups if needed. My two complaints: 1) We did not receive the cabin far away from the engine noise that was promised at booking (fault of Aggressor Fleet reservations, they switched us to Cabin 6- right next to the engine room - horribly noisy when motoring) and 2) there was a problem with the air conditioning and the cabins and dining area were cold the whole trip (so cold we had to wear light jackets in the dining room)and tape up our aircon vents in the cabin). Despite these two problems, I still recommend this trip. Just make sure that if you request a specific cabin that Aggressor Fleet reservations notes in your file that you should not be moved.
