Great Summer Getaway!
The highlight of the trip must have been the last dive where we went down and hooked in near a cleaning station and stayed with a manta for the entire dive.

Great boat, great crew!
The manta ray night dive was spectacular! Whale sharks are awesome to see, and we got to spend quality time with them. We went to a lot of nice dive sites, enjoyed the ones on S. Male atoll a lot! Always love Alimaathaa and the nurse sharks! It was marvelous to get away from the stress of COVID and out onto the sea to do some diving. Every day was a bit of paradise, and was very enjoyable. We did 3-4 dives every day (except for the last day when we did 2 due to flights and need for COVID swabbing.) I think we saw a good variety of dive sites, with a balance of large and small critters to see. Best wakeup call of any boat I've been on! Both effective and practical. :) (Open your door when they knock because they have your coffee waiting.)

- The boat was very nice (both the boat, and the dive Dhoni!) The dive briefings were great (LET'S! GO! DIVE!!!!!) The crew was very friendly and helpful! Also very grateful for the camera table, as I have a big camera! There were bathrobes for all of us, and that was a lovely touch, and another option for getting warm/dry after diving.
Uncharted
Besides the above, it should be noted that this kind of diving is not for beginners; conditions can be challenging. We have done hundrerds around the world and were the least capable onboard. The far north is remote and we were away from the other boats doing the usual central atolls, which involved an expensive flight back to Male. The boat and crew were fine but this is for pretty hard core, committed divers.

Absolutely Amazing!
This was my first liveaboard and I'm hooked! This was absolutely amazing... We saw whale sharks, loads of manta rays, what seemed like hundrets of sharks, all kinds of other rays, dolphins, pilot whales, and just an incredible variety of topical fish... Who you end up on the boat with of course means a lot, and we were luck that we all fitted well in, despite age differences (26-60) and nationalities (6 nationalities). I've traveled a lot and this holiday surely makes it into top 5!

GOOD EXPERIENCE WILE DISCOVERING DIVING WITH SHARKS AND MANTAS
The 2 stars on "Diving & Dive Guides" come mostly from the Diving Director who was poorly involved in managing the group and behaving as not looking very much concerned with the way the group or part of the group could feel. No effort for being well understood by non english speaking people. Just doing the job typicaly on a civil servant way. Luckily the assistant is and excellent and smart guy. And the selection of sites was good.

Unforgettable diving experience
The best part of the trip was the night dive with the nurse sharks. I will never forget the amazement of interacting with these gentle creatures. I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat. One thing that I would like to see, and the opinion was shared by many of the guests that I stayed with, was to do a beach clean up. It was sad seeing the bottles and cans etc on the beaches both in Male, Huhumale and on the little island that we stopped at. It would be great to give people the opportunity to pick up a bag full of garbage while they are on the beach if they want.

Super comfortable and spacious boat and service made for a perfect trip!
The boat was of a high quality - modern, clean, large and comfortable. Although the boat was full, we always could find space somewhere to relax. Crew were really attentive, with literally help for everything. The diving was both mind-blowing and average in turns, depending on the conditions, but the dive guides had a good balance of showing things and letting people explore with their buddy. I would consider diving with Blue O Two again. Thanks of course to Albert and Sophie, who made the trip relaxed and fun!

A great trip all round
Cabins very comfortable, with A/c and a TV in each one. We changed our diving itinerary on day 1 on advice of the cruise directors given conditions and we were very much rewarded, with great diving as well as a whale shark and mantas. Would very much recommend this trip and the trip directors Albert and Sophie were fantastic. Food was varied, plentiful and delicious all trip.

Stunning moments!
Three nights in a row with the company of mantas under the boat, of nursing sharks (so elegant and supple) and of whale sharks (the apex of the cruise for me ). On the other hand, as I’m more of a macro photographer, less opportunity to look for and spend time with small critters

Mantas and Sharks
I've bee on several dive trips to the Maldives, but have never previously seen so many mantas and grey reef sharks. And feeding time at the fish factory was underwater mayhem - loads of stingrays, whiprays, jacks, unicorns, snappers, free-swimming morays, etc., milling about in search of titbits. Quite an experience. Pity about the lack of healthy corals - coral bleaching has certainly taken its toll. But Blue Voyager can't be blamed for that. It was a very enjoyable and well-run trip.

Comfy boat, decent diving, great crew!
Weather & Visibility have not been fully on our side. But the crew and the guides did their best to find good divesites that were suitable for everyone on the boat! Dive guides were always motivated to show even from the smallest creatures to the biggest animals - there is a lot to see! Having fun when diving in currents (sometimes strong and against you) is a must on some dive sites, and these were my favorites. The Boat is large enough to either socialise with your fellow divers or find a quiet spot for yourself, with lots of places to hang out and chill. Crew in general from deckhand to captain, from chef to barkeeper, as well as all dive guides VERY friendly and always up to serve your needs. Food was generally very good and loads of it, so even when you don‘t like the one or the other thing you will find something for your appetite. The alternative is always the crew curry. But beware: it‘s spicy! :-) Guides and crew always up for fun either on the boat or under water! 100% recommendation! Thank you blue o two & Blue Voyager/Shadow Team for a very memorable experience! Just one recommendation for the future: since some people like relaxing, other people are more into exciting dives it might be (when & if possible) wise to offer alternative ways of approaching a dive site. There‘s enough to see and experience either way!!! I had a ball!

Worst Liveaboard experience ever
We have been on other Liveaboard in the Maldives and this was by far the worst. We booked 18 Dives and got 16. We had bed bugs in one of the rooms. We booked a double bed and got a twin bed. De food was bad and never enough. We had to pay for nitrox fillings which the crew messed up. The organizer don’t have any spare equipment (not even one regulator!) in case of any failure, which actually happened. They had to rent it from another boat (how embarrassing!). Some of the selected dive spots were mediocre. We stayed 2 nights in the Harbour on a 7 day cruise? We got kicked from the baoat at the 6am in the morning. They showed up nearly an hour late for pick up. We had to pay for nitrox fillings which the crew messed up. We will never book again with Blue o Two . Everyone on the boat felt ripped of. We complained to the cruise master but she didn’t care..
