The Jaya Phinisi Indonesia offers liveaboard dive trips to Raja Ampat from November - May, and Komodo from late June to late September. Raja Ampat itineraries visit some of the best areas in the region, including Arborek Island, Penemu, Kawe, Gam, and Mioskon, with the chance of up to 4 dives per day. In the heart of the Coral Triangle, Raja Ampat should be at the top of any diver's bucket list. Komodo itineraries explore world-class dive sites and Rinca for trekking to see Komodo Dragons. Dive groups are kept small - max 4:1, to ensure everyone gets the best out of their Indonesia liveaboard. The dive deck has space for all divers, plus areas to store fins, masks, and wetsuits. There are also freshwater containers for cameras and torches, and the experienced crew is always on-hand with a smile to help out when needed.
Topside, the 23m Jaya caters to 14 guests in 7 cabins on the lower deck. There are 4 twin cabins with 2 shared bathrooms, 2 double ensuite cabins, and 1 double with a single ensuite, all with AC, charging sockets, fresh towels, and bedding. The upper deck has shaded space for relaxing in-between dives and enjoying the stunning Raja Ampat scenery, and the sun deck is equipped with bean bags.

Excellent diving with Jaya
Highlights: Seeing wobbegong and walking sharks. Lowlights: Engine noise at night. Be aware that the first dives and last dives are off Gam Island. This is not a criticism but don't plan on going to Gam Island for scuba diving in addition to Jaya live aboard trip.

Great guides and the crew, but wish the boat was more comfortable
We only had 6 people on this trip, so the boat was all to ourselves, with personal attention and plenty of space. The guides are great, friendly, responsible, knowledgeable and helpful (and fun), and the crew is nice too. Got to see alot of coral, manta rays, sharks, turtles etc etc.

5 Star Experience
The staff was absolutely amazing!! So knowledgable and personable, they truly made this an all encompassing experience. The boat itself was awesome, big enough to be comfortable, small enough to keep the trip personal. The diving was phenomenal, great marine life, and beautiful dive sites. We will definitely be back on board the Jaya soon!

Fantastic time aboard the Jaya, many of the divers were on their second or third trip with the boat which speaks to how good of an experience it is. Great for experiencing Raja Ampat!

Awesome experience all around!
Manta ridge(woke up early so we were first on the sometimes busy dive site. This insider info assured we has the best views for the mantas saw over 10 on that one dive). The land visit to pianemo had amazing views and two of the crew carry up as many beers as you want. All the food was delicious and varied even for being out as sea for so long. Room was comfortable especially after such long days filled with activities.

Superb diving. Boat staff and Dive Masters very welcoming and professional, accommodating our every query and request. Dive gear in good condition and any repairs/problems immediately sorted. The boat needs a lick of paint, but by the end of the trip if felt like home. Would book again in a flash.

Can only recommend it.
In general the whole trip was very well organized/executed. The dive guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and focused on safety. The dive sites they choose were amazing and the evaluation of the conditions (and consecutive briefing) was accurate. I loved the boat itself. It has this less commercial, more authentic look and feel. The price (especially given the area) is very reasonable. I can only recommend this trip.

Safety was top of the agenda, always did current checks before each dive so we New what we were going to be dealing with . Food was fantastic and plenty of it with good veriation. It’s a pretty old boat but is kept clean which is the main thing. Defiantly a great budget option for a live aboard in Raja Ampat

Amazing adventure of a lifetime
The whole trip was amazing ... from the gorgeous boat Jaya, the amazing professionalism and friendliness of the crew and of course the incredible locations we traveled to. The diving was some of the best I've experienced with such a variety of marine life, the live corals, multitude of species we saw ... just mindblowing ... the boat itself was a joy to travel on ... the Indonesian Phinsies are reminiscent of the olde world sailing ships ... just awesome ... we are planning to head back to meet the boat to dive Raja Ampat in future.

Excellent diving, friendly crew & great food.
Friendly & knowledgeable dive guides, good briefings. Excellent and plentiful food & really friendly crew. The Jaya is a beautiful & characterful boat, but as a consequence she has a couple of minor downsides, including small cabins which if you’re over 6ft some of the bunks are a bit small & hence uncomfortable & there are no hot showers, which can be quite pleasant after a night dive. The 7 day program is effectively two 4 day programs bolted together and as such half the dive sites are repeated – this wasn’t a problem for me as they were all excellent sites. Komodo is not the remote location you might at 1st think it is, quite a few of the dive sites had several groups of divers down at the same time – but, all in all – excellent diving & value for money, a thoroughly enjoyable week.

- Good fills (240 bar) hence 60 min dives throughout, awesome 1st days diving, including the cauldron drift dive and 2 pinnacles all with lots of life. Mantas on every dive on day 1 (not so many for the rest of the week, though).
Great trip, great passagers
The onboard Is beautifull but if you love dive can do the same points even doing more dives and cheaper from the village Labuan Bajo. Go on board Is not necesary in Komodo and Rinca

Fantastic trip diving Raja Ampat
Diving with black mantas. Mayhem, Melissa's Garden and Channel No 5 were my favourite dive sites. Never seen that many fish and a carpet of healthy corals. Best diving I have done in the past 20 years. The Jaya is a basic boat with no hot showers and shared bathrooms but if amazing diving is more important to you than luxury travel than I can highly recommend it. I would be happy to dive with the Jaya again. Fantastic diving, crew and passengers.

Wonderful diving trip
We saw a manta, jumping dolphins in the nature. It was a wonderful memory. All staffs are very friendly, pick up service / diving schedule was on time, well organized. Food / snack was delicious, no need cup noodles. It could be better to separate the toilet and shower room. And I know it could be hard to control but kill the cockroach could be better. Our dive guide Erica kept us safe in any situation and showed us Wobbegong shark, shrimp, Pipe fishes, etc. Local staffs shared with us their life stories like family, marriage, their further plan, it was a good chance to know their life. And please indicate clearly tips required on the price list to be more transparent& budget setting. it is indeed valuable unforgettable experience!

Awesome experience for a great budget
A great boat for divers on a budget. The crew is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the dives are amazing. Very safe diving, and marine biodiversity is stunning. The rooms are a bit small and the boat in general is a bit old but nothing a traveler cannot handle. I would dive again with the Jaya and her crew without hesitation.

Very nice
My favorite divesites were Manta Ridge and Mayhem - but everything was definitely worth going. But most important: it was a difficult time for us travelling with Covid-19. Not knowing, what is going to happen and if we can fly home. All the stuff of scubarepublic did a great job, was very very helpful and we got all information we needed. Tanks a lot for everything!!!

The perfect liveaboard experience
This was my first liveaboard experience and it was absolutely amazing. The boat crew was super attentive and the dive sites were absolutely spectacular. From seeing Mantas and sharks, to thrill dives in the cauldron, these were dives that will be hard to beat. Living on board was rustic with small cabins and the showers directly above the toilets took some getting used to but not as bad as I had feared. I absolutely loved this trip and highly recommend.

The Trip was a great experience, but with some small paint points
See above. Negative aspects: room was way to loud and we already Had the better one, for the price that is No Go and I would Not recommend it. We Had to sleep Outside one night, because it was to noisy. For the high price this is Not acceptable. Also asking for 10% tip for Crew and Guides (you are just Touch with one Guide) per Person is inappropriate for such an expensive trip. Also a Tip is always Something personal to give, an extra. Last Thing: you only asking for the positive aspects Here ;)
