    • Captain's work visible on the open bridge

Built in 2005 and fully refurbished in 2016, the Coral Discoverer offers five types of beautiful cabin, each with a private bathroom and all providing the perfect place to relax in stylish comfort after a day of exploring. All cabins have air conditioning, adequate storage space, an iPod docking station, and either a window or port hole. Some have a balcony. With 36 cabins in total, which can accommodate a maximum of 72 guests per trip, there are plenty of guests to be sociable but few enough that you can enjoy the personal touches of a small ship cruise. The vessel’s design means that she can navigate narrower passages and shallower waters, taking you to places that are impossible to access in a larger craft. Watch the captain at work on the open bridge, take it easy in the lounge, chat with friends old and new in the three well-stocked bars, and top up your tan as you relax on the sun deck. In need of shade? The cabana area is ideal. Limited Wi-Fi lets you stay connected with home, and you can buy souvenirs from the onboard gift shop. If you want to escape the everyday world, head into the water and fully use the free-to-use snorkeling gear.

Sailing around the large and diverse Australia and beyond, the Coral Discoverer offers trips for ten, 11, 12, 13,  and 25 nights, with each voyage taking in incredible sights and providing numerous activities. Spend ten nights discovering the Kimberley as you sail from Broome to Darwin or vice versa, complete with ancient traditions, indigenous rock art, pioneering heritage, waterfalls, reefs, beaches, BBQs, and wildlife. Spend 7 nights exploring pristine Tasmania, 11 nights traveling from Darwin to Biak in West Papua (reverse sailing also possible), experiencing exceptional diving in Raja Ampat, exploring wildlife-rich jungles, and visiting the Spice Islands. Or, how about a 12-night expedition from Darwin to Cairns, Cairns to Rabaul (Papua New Guinea), or Cairns to Wewak (Papua New Guinea)? Cruises of 13 nights operate from Wewak to Darwin, and a 17-night trip takes you from Singapore to Darwin via varied Indonesian islands. For the ultimate discovery, the 25-night cruise starts in Darwin, taking you to remote and fascinating places around Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

The Coral Discoverer's all-Australian and New Zealand team members are excited to welcome you aboard for the holiday of a lifetime. Book online today.
