Highlights
The Galaxy Diver is a 29 meter/96 ft long liveaboard offering diving and naturalist itineraries in the Galapagos. Fully renewed in 2022, the Galaxy Diver can accommodate up to 12 guests in 8 spacious and comfortable cabins, all with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. The Galaxy Diver also offers naturalist itineraries. On the upper deck, guests can enjoy the ocean views from their large windows; on the lower deck, there are porthole views.
The Galapagos and famous for their biodiversity and are one of the best places in the world for seeing pelagic species such as tuna, spotted eagle rays, golden rays, and hammerhead sharks. Diving in the Galapagos is a once-in-a-lifetime experience; divers often find themselves surrounded by sharks, whales, manta rays, rays, turtles, penguins, iguanas, sea lions, and much more. Water temperatures fluctuate through the year, usually warmer on the north island and cooler in the western, southern, and central Galapagos islands.

EPIC and Excellent Service
Dives were epic. The guides were very safe and thorough in the briefing. It was obvious that Jorge really loves ❤️ what he's doing and has a passion and enthusiasm for nature. Food was exceptional and Juanito the bar tender did a fantastic job serving food and making cocktails. Wine selection was dismal but simple cocktails were very nice. Cipriani

Most amazing time ever!!!
We had the most amazing week with @galaxy_diver_liveaboard for this 8D/7N liveaboard experience, booked via @diving.liveaboard The naturalist liveaboard tours the islands to see the wildlife, including lots of land excursions and snorkeling activities 🤿 We left from Baltra and covered the west part of the islands to end back in Nord Seymour. It was the most amazing experience: we’ve seen so many animals and had incredibly beautiful encounters with them under water; we learned a lot about the islands and its wildlife thanks to our incredible guide Renny; we met lovely people on board and had the best food thanks to the amazing Galaxy Divers crew. This was the experience of a lifetime and we’d recommend any nature and animal lover to join such a liveaboard 😍

Unglaubliche Reise
Naturalist-Itinery: Das Boot ist zwar nicht das neueste aber in einem super Zustand. Die Crew hat es super gepflegt und jederzeit tollen Service geboten und war super freundlich. Auch kleine Überraschungen wie Kochvorfühungen oder ein Sunset-Drink gehörten dazu. Alles war immer on-time, super organisiert und mit entsprechenden Sicherheitsvorkehrungen. Die Kabinen war geräumig und das Bett gemütlich. Die Landausflüge und auch die Erlebnisse im Wasser gehören zu den beeindruckendsten Tier- und Landschaftserlebnissen die ich je erleben durfte. Unser Guide hat uns extrem viel zeigen können, hat die Gruppe nie gehetzt, und dennoch viel Programm in die 8 Tage gepackt, so dass wir das Gefühl haben wirklich alles und auch das Beste erlebt zu haben. Auch das Essen an Bord war reichhaltig. Einzige Einschränkung vielleicht für mich als Vegetarierin ist, dass ich mir gewünscht hätte einfach nur Gemüse zu bekommen anstelle von Fleischersatzprodukte (vegetarische Würstchen zB). Insbesondere die Fischgerichte wurden von den Mitreisenden besonders gelobt. Ich würde die Reise auf jeden Fall nochmal machen und kann das Boot und die Crew uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Liebe zukünftige Reisende: Denkt an das übliche Trinkgeld. Für europäische Verhältnisse ist es nicht wenig! (Ca 40$ pro Tag/Person). Es ist natürlich kein Muss aber eine Gelegenheit diese außerordentlichen Erlebnisse und den besonderen Service unter nicht-europäischen Bedingungen zu honorieren. Die Crew arbeitet wirklich hart rund um die Uhr. Ebenso leistet der Guide hervorragende Arbeit. Plant das also bei eurer Buchung ggf mit ein damit es euch später nicht überrascht:) Bei diesem Boot lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall!

Adventure Week!!
What a great trip! Guides worked hard to give us the best diving possible which seems challenging in this El Niño year unfortunately. Nonetheless the hammerheads were plentiful, sharks galore, a whale shark and the shock of a lifetime - a tiger shark!!! Diving in the Galapagos is like no where else. The boat crew was fantastic and super helpful with equipment, tanks and ensuring everything was done safely.
