“This was my most awesome liveaboard to date! ”
Highlights
Custom-built for divers, the Nautilus Belle Amie ship is the largest of the Nautilus Liveaboards’ fleet. With amenities akin to a floating boutique hotel, and a reputation for offering high-level service on board, the Nautilus Belle Amie accommodates 32 guests in 17 en-suite staterooms and suites. On the lower deck are 8 twin staterooms plus one affordable triple occupancy stateroom. The main deck has 2 premium suites, and 6 superior suites are on the wheelhouse deck. Bedding in the suites can be converted to twins or doubles. All rooms also feature individually controlled air-conditioning.
On the main deck is a large salon and dining area, where a fusion of Mexican and West Coast North American food is served. All dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, food allergy options, and quasi-kosher, can be catered to with prior notice. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are buffet-style, and the evening meal is served plated buffet or family-style. There are two fully-stocked extensive bars on board, which include single malts, microbrews, and a large selection of wine. The large sun deck has space for everyone to enjoy lounging in the sun and a hot tub to warm up in-between dives or enjoy after diving with a drink and snack.
The heavy steel construction with stabilization of the Nautilus Belle Amie liveaboard means she was perfectly designed for ocean crossings to get divers to the world-class dive sites of the Socorro Islands or over to Guadalupe for up-close encounters with great white sharks. From November - June, the Socorro Islands are open to offering some of the best diving in the world. Friendly mantas, dolphins, humpback whales, pilot whales, and up to 10 species of shark are just some of the marine encounters the Socorro Islands offer. Or for those who want to get up close with great white sharks, the Guadalupe season offers from July - November each year. The large dive deck, onboard nitrox, and 3 large dive skiffs ensure an easy diving experience.

Don't dive Socorro with anyone else!
Obviously the diving was superlative. We saw everything we had come for, and the whale shark on the last two safety stops was a very unexpected and major bonus. Oscar and his crew were very focused on guest safety and made sure we were enjoying the diving at all times. Oscar flexed the schedule in response to our feedback giving us more time at one particular site. All of the dive guides were fantastic but a very special call out to Nikee whose sheer enthusiasm for everything we saw was wonderful to see. Ray and Ana as hosts kept all of the happy guests happy throughout the day and always noticed if we needed anything. Pancho's cooking was amazing! Overall this has been the best dive trip we have every been on and the Nautilus Belle Amie is highly recommended.

- The Captain and crew, super focused on safety and guest experience. Food and drink, as a vegetarian I was really well catered for with thoughtful and creative choices. The boat was well appointed and even though there were 32 guests there was always space for everyone.

Fantastic diving with a good crew
One of the best liveaboards I've been on! The crew and guides were very friendly, knowledgeable, and very good at their jobs. Socorro is an amazing destination for pelagic life and dramatic vertical wall dive sites.

Magical mantas
3 trip with Naulitus in a year! Love the company. This is the biggest vessel yet. 32 divers was A LOT but everything systematically managed by groups so diving worked out just fine. Super nice boat that made the crossing so much smoother/easier. Very experienced, safety first and passionate crew especially guides and their energy underwater shows. Love love love them. Great diving. Life was abundant. Mexican animals are friendly just like the people. Magical manta encounters that (almost) beat my eye to eye orca interactions haha. Food was super yummy too.

A wonderful and memorable experience!
I realized that a lot of people in the world are not privileged to see such large majestic creatures up close and safely, which made me appreciate the experience so much more. I also enjoyed my time being surrounded by nature and hearing the sounds of the sea, as this was truly therapeutic. The supportive and helpful crew, who took the initiative to reach out and engage with me, made all the difference as well. I took pictures with them and included them on my FB page. Of course, traveling with fellow guests-- who at first were strangers-- and learning about their unique backgrounds, their enthusiasm and passion for the sea and their utmost friendliness also made the experience fun.

Comfortable spacious safety conscientious boat providing up close diving with the giant pacific manta and hammerheads!
Diving with the Nautilus Belle Amie was a most pleasant experience. The boat catered to all dietary needs, rooms were larger than most liveaboards I've been on, nitrox is available, and the boat was re-breather friendly. They focus on safety, providing each diver with a personal Nautilus Lifeline (GPS) unit to dive with, and always having a zodiac in the water watching while the different dive teams are out. The diving was so spectacular, I witnessed a plethora of sea life diving this bucket list place; schools of hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, Tiger shark, black Mantas up close, a pregnant hammerhead, listening to whales sing while diving, seeing a whale breach up close to the liveaboard, playing dolphins, watching silky sharks hunt, seeing a school of tuna and school of Pampano, as well as a very large tuna up close!
