Le Phinisi, officiellement surnommé le Cheng I Sao, est le navire sœur de The Junk et offre d'excellents itinéraires de plongée en Thaïlande et au Myanmar de novembre à mai chaque année. Quatre itinéraires sont offerts, longs de 4 à 10 nuits. Le Phinisi a été construit pour les plongeurs, comme l'indiquent ses installations. Le pont de plongée ombragé comprend des stations personnelles, du Nitrox et du matériel Aqualung à la location. Un parachute est également fourni gratuitement durant la croisière. Les itinéraires en Thaïlande explorent les eaux cristallines des îles Similan et des sites de plongée de Koh Bon, Koh Tachai et Richelieu Rock. Le Phinisi explore également certains des meilleurs spots de plongée de Birmanie comme Black Rock, High Rock, Tower Rock et Torres Island.
À la surface, le Phinisi peut accueillir 18 passagers dans des cabines pour différents budgets. Chaque cabine dispose de climatisation individuelle, salle de bain avec eau chaude, serviettes de bain, espace de rangement et coffre-fort. Les espaces communs incluent un pont solarium avec transats, des restaurants intérieur et extérieur, un écran plat 42" et une bibliothèque de jeux, films et livres. Tous les repas sont servis sous forme de buffet et des boissons et collations self-services sont proposées (moyennant coût supplémentaire).

The liveaboard of a lifetime.
This boat and its staff brought together a fantastic group of human beings with whom to spend a week diving. The accommodations and the gear were all top notch. During my time on board, I completed my advanced certification with Jonathan, who is an incredible mentor and cruise director. Also important, the staff and crew on The Phinisi are incredibly respectful of marine life and observant of the national park regulations. Highly recommend.

Hightlight der Reise war natürlich den Walhai, welchen wir gsehen haben, nur eir 5 Taucher und sonst niemand in der nähe, wunderbahres Erlebniss.

- Es hat alles bestens Funktioniert. Obwohl das Schiff ganz neu als Safariboot benutzt wird, wirkte die Crew (Thai sowie der rest) sehr organisiert und hilfsbereit. Die Leihausrüsstung komplett neu und guer Qualität. Punkto Safety auch top. Vor jedem Dive ein gutes Briefing mit wichtigen Informationen. Die Tauchgruppen wurden nach Erfahrungslevel eingeteil, und nach dem Checkdive und evtl. auch später angepasst. Nitrox immer 32%.

Awesome diving, on a beautiful boat with a wonderful crew
Just back from an amazing 7D/6N dive trip aboard the Phinisi, visiting the Similan and Surin islands with my dive buddy. The best dive site (by far!!) was Richelieu Rock. We dove there four times, and I would have been happy to have just dived that site over and over. Our dive guide was Amelie, and she made sure to always find something cool and obscure on each dive. The rental gear was brand-spanking new, and so was pretty much everything else on this newly renovated boat. The boat is beautifully appointed, and we lacked for nothing. My buddy and I felt like kings, lavishly attended to do by the entire crew throughout our trip; from delicious and bountiful meals to assistance getting in and out of our dive gear. Deano’s dive briefings were entertaining and amazingly accurate. The whole team oozed experience and I highly recommend this boat, crew, and itinerary to anyone seeking to eat, sleep, dive, repeat :)
