Le SeaWorld 1 est un bateau de croisière proposant des plongées toute l'année en Thaïlande (Similan, Surin, Phi-Phi) et au Myanmar (archipel de Mergui). Le SeaWorld 1 peut accueillir 18 personnes dans 9 cabines. Sur le pont principal, vous trouverez 3 cabines principales avec lit double et salle de bains privative (en-suite) ainsi que 2 autres cabines avec lit double. Sur le pont supérieur, il y a 4 cabines avec lits superposés. Toutes les chambres sont équipées d'une climatisation à réglage individuel et d'un espace de rangement. Le pont supérieur dispose d'un espace salon avec télévision, lecteur DVD et système audio. Il y a également un spacieux pont ensoleillé avec des poufs et des lits de plage, parfait pour se détendre entre les plongées. Pendant la journée, le chef prépare 4 délicieux repas de cuisine thaïlandaise et internationale. Du thé, du café, des boissons non alcoolisées, des collations et de l'eau sont disponibles tout au long de la journée.
Le SeaWorld 1 propose plusieurs itinéraires de plusieurs jours. Les circuits typiques de 5 jours et 4 nuits naviguent vers le nord des îles Andaman, comme les îles Similan et Richelieu Rock, offrant une variété d'expériences de plongée - des plongées profondes aux plongées peu profondes, des parois aux récifs, et de la macrophotographie aux photographies grand angle. Ayez la chance d'observer des requins-baleines, des raies manta, des requins léopards et bien d'autres espèces marines exotiques. Les voyages de 6/7 jours ont lieu dans l'archipel de Mergui au Myanmar. Le Myanmar n'a ouvert ses eaux que récemment, à la fin des années 1990, après avoir été fermé pendant plus de 50 ans. Peu de plongeurs ont pu explorer ces récifs préservés car peu de bateaux de plongée fréquentent cette région.

Decent first liveaboard with some kinks to work out
First things first: Sea World 1 is a budget vessel and it's priced as such. From that perspective, it met our expectations with some caveats. PROS: 1. The food was good and it kept getting better each day. Hats off to the chef! 2. The boat boys were super efficient, attentive and friendly. 3. Our daily itinerary was very dynamic and well-paced. 4. There was always hot water in our cabin. 5. Our dive master, Audrey, was friendly and fun outside of the water. CONS: 1. The dives were not always well-planned. On three different occasions when the current was too strong for us to dive the intended route, we ended up just floating around without a back-up plan. Unfortunately, those were supposed to be some of the most exciting dives of the trip so it was a disappointing that they were not fully thought through. 2. Even though there was a secondary dive master, he did not dive with us which meant that the consistent ratio was 1 dive master for 5 divers. It would have been a much better experience if the secondary dive master had participated in our dives. 3. Audrey seemed like a relatively new instructor on this liveaboard so she may not have known the dive sites as well as the secondary dive master. It would have been a much better experience to change up lead dive masters every once in a while to take advantage of his local knowledge. 4. The secondary dive master dove exclusively with 4 other professional divers who did not make much of an attempt to socialize with the rest of the divers so there were always two distinct groups on the boat during meals and breaks. 5. There were not actual mattresses in the rooms. The "mattresses" are made of the same rubbery, hard material that is used for the outdoor mats and cushions on the eating benches. This made a good night sleep virtually impossible for 4 nights. They absolutely need to buy real mattresses for the rooms.

Pleasant dive trip in Myanmar
The boat and crew were excellent. The diving is pleasant but I was disappointed that the marine park is basically unprotected. There were fishing boats and squid boats everywhere. Not what one would expect after paying an expensive marine park fee. Obviously, this affects the number and size of fish that divers will encounter. A travel tip if you are interested in extending your trip in Myanmar. The boat leaves from Ranong, Thailand and immediately stops in Kawthoung, Myanmar to pass Myanmar immigration. You can obtain a Myanmar visa on your own and disembark in Kawthoung and stay in southern Myanmar.

First Liveaboard
We really enjoyed our trip to Similan. The crew was very nice and we got the best food we ate in Thailand four times a day. The dive site Richelieu Rock was our highlight. We even saw a whale shark. We highly recommend this tour. The price-performance ratio is amazing and the tour is suitable for every diving level.

Great experience
I m a solo traveller and the other divers were all really friendly: i had a lot of fun. The dives sites are nice (richelieu rock is beautiful!)but dont expect to see mantas or whale sharks because they re extremely rare. The mattresses are not really comfortable and in the cabin there was only space for a small backpack. Crew was very nice and the food was really good. I m really happy of my first liveaboard.

Ein super freundliches und immer hilfsbereitest Bootteam die Tag und nach alles erledigt haben. Sehr schöne und intensive Spots mit viel Artenreichtum. Super nette Mitreisende aus aller Welt (🇺🇸, 🇸🇬, 🇨🇭, 🇩🇪, 🇯🇵, 🇲🇾) Ich werde sicher irgendwann wieder kommen. Viele Grüße 🪼👌🏻

Great staff, good experience
Great guiding by the dive instructors at the various dive sites - saw a large variety of sea creatures, coral, landscape. As well as dolphins, turtles, flying fish swimming on the surface when the boat was travelling.

Amazing experience
The dive team leader was well organised. Each dive was briefed to ensure a safe and informed dive. Everything from currents, marine life, dive times, drop off and pick up and more helped ensure each dive was as good as it could be. The food cooked by on board chef was excellent. The aft of the boat was organised well and each dive team supported with an experienced dive leader. My wife unfortunately had a medical issue, but the dive leader (Golf) went way above what we expected to make sure nothing was left to chance. We felt very cared for throughout the whole experience. We would highly recommend Sea World 1.
