Highlights
The Excess 11 is a modern 37-foot (11.3 m) catamaran for up to 8 guests, offering a base for a skippered sailing holiday in Croatia. Designed for comfort, stability, and easy island-hopping, this catamaran gives guests plenty of room to relax on board while exploring the Dalmatian coast. With a skipper and host on board, no sailing experience is required, making it ideal for families, couples, or friends seeking a carefree Adriatic escape.
Life on board is relaxed and social, with outdoor areas for sunbathing, reading, swimming stops, and enjoying long lunches in peaceful coves. Breakfast and lunch are prepared by the host, with drinks, port fees, accommodation, and boat-related costs included for a transparent, easygoing experience. Guests can get involved with the sailing as much as they like, or simply unwind on deck as the skipper handles the route, navigation, and daily planning.
Excess 11 sailing trips in Croatia depart from the Trogir area and explore the Dalmatian archipelago, with routes adapted to the weather and guests’ wishes. Over the course of a week, itineraries typically visit 4–5 islands, often including Hvar, Vis, Brac, and Solta, combining turquoise swimming spots, historic harbor towns, local tavernas, and secluded coves accessible only by boat. May, early June, and September are especially appealing for warm weather, fewer crowds, and pleasant sailing conditions.
