Cómo llegar a Komodo

The visibility wasn't always great, but the dive sites were fantastic
Buceo Komodo en December en Sea Safari VII
Most of the dive sites comes with currents, so a reef hook maybe a good idea. Full moon will bring the stronger currents and the new moon phase brings weaker currents. So checking the moon position can be a good decision before booking a slot..
Buceo Komodo en November en Komodo Shalom
Some of it was excellent, good visibility and lots to see. Some very strong currents that made diving difficult. Not a place for inexperienced divers.
Buceo Komodo en October en Dragon Dive Komodo
Diverse with some world class dive sites

Diving in Komodo has everything you would want from a liveaboard: current dives, night dives, sunset dives, reef wall dives, big animals, small animals, all types of corals...
Buceo Komodo en October en Komodo Shalom
Diving in Komodo National Park is fun and adventure. Good visibility generally. South Komodo is a bit cool, however 3mm wetsuit with hood is quite enough for me. A few divesites are especially impressive. Healthy corals full of lives. Great variety of creatures. While my trip was taken during full moon, currents were very strong sometimes. Recommended for experienced divers with strong legs.
Buceo Komodo en September en NusaTara
This was my most favorite of five liveaboard experiences. Reefs were pristine and gorgeous, ocean was calm, currents swift and fish life extraordinary.
Buceo Komodo en September en La Galigo
The diving overall was spectacular. We did 9 dive sites. Our favorites were probably the Catapult, Manta Point, Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, and Batu Bolong (okay so almost all of them :)). We say such a wide array of creatures and tons of big things: grey reef sharks, black tipped reef sharks, white tipped reef sharks, manta rays, blue spotted rays, and turtles.

Buceo Komodo en August en Komodo Shalom
Overall an amazing place, lots of corals and fishes. Though Komodo is known to be having strong currents, there are also many dive sites that do not have strong currents/are manageable and ok for Open Water/Beginner divers. Just make sure to inform your DMs before the trip of your level of diving.

Buceo Komodo en July en Tidak ApaPa
Great variety and easy diving
Buceo Komodo en July en Lady Denok
Komodo is not the remote location I initially expected and as such it was more crowded on a number of dive sites than I had anticipated, despite this there was generally good vis (15-20 metres), lots of life and excellent coral reefs. The sea-mount, pinnacles and the cauldron are particularly memorable dives.
Buceo Komodo en July en Jaya
Most dive site need to deal with under water current but there is lots of Mantas

Buceo Komodo en June en Duyung Baru
For experienced divers, lots of current. Good
Buceo Komodo en June en Tanaka
The diving was beautiful. The currents could be a bit strong so I opted out of two dives. We had to hang on to our dive master during our safety stop so we didn’t get separated. At one point swimming against the current I had to do the breast stroke to make any progress going forward.
Buceo Komodo en May en Tanaka
The went above all my expectations. All the life and Coral were a feast for our eyes.
Buceo Komodo en May en Cajoma IV
The water is cold, around 22 deg, but well worth it to see the mantas.

Buceo Komodo en March en Moana
We had water temperatures arround 26°C so I recommend using a 5mm. Visiblity changed from 10 to 20m. Sometimes no current sometimes strong current. All in all very interessting dive sites
Buceo Komodo en January en Lalunia
Visibility and underwater temperature was not so good. But master nero was perfect. So that's enough to me.

Buceo Komodo en July en Jaya
Schools of fish were beautiful and visibility was great!
Buceo Komodo en July en Empress II
The diving in Komodo was unlike any diving I have done as it was my first time to Indonesia. Learning to manage the currents was a steep learning curve which added a fun and challenging piece to many dives. The aquatic life was incredible and diverse in both inter- and intra-species realms.

A sensory overload. Too many colours, fish, and macro critters, I did not know where to look! This was a huge problem.
Buceo Komodo en September en Indo Aggressor
The diving in Komodo was breathtaking! Just some of the most amazing species of aquatic life. We even saw some dolphins from the boat following us at times.
Buceo Komodo en September en Kira Kira
Great visibilty. Many creatures.
Buceo Komodo en September en Empress II
The diving was great, healthy reef, plenty of big fish pelagic, turtles, shark and we spotted a couple of mantas in one site and did so both time we dived the site. Currents can be challenging so it would not be good for nervous beginners.
Buceo Komodo en September en Kira Kira

Very varied and distinct dives both on the corall and type of underwater landscapes, as well as to the richness and variety of fishes. From muck dives to coral reefs, to walls, and pinnacles. Amazing night dives. The currents are amazing, but you can get good protection from it, so not a problem. A funny experience at the shotgun dive (well earned name !)
Buceo Komodo en July en Waow

Amazing experience!
Buceo Komodo en June en Damai II
The diving pretty much has to be some of the best and most enjoyable I have done.
Buceo Komodo en December en Indo Aggressor
Sites were assessed prior to each dive and we were fully briefed. The diving was less challenging than many British sites with warm fairly clear waters. Batu bolong dive site had an exceptionally rich and diverse marine life. Watching mantas at cleaning stations was awe inspiring.
Buceo Komodo en December en Indo Aggressor
In general very good, weh expected more current dives, but it was okay the way it was
