The 37m Thailand Master is a purpose-built sailing liveaboard designed by divers, for divers. Did not want it to end.
It was great a great dive trip. Got up close with cuttlefish. Saw an assortment of so many fish, sharks, scorpion fish, pipefish, angel fish, turtles barrakudas, one crab was so decorated he looked like he was going to mardi gra. The list went on and on. The water was murky, some of the days but visibility still not problem.
Recommended for
Crew was great. Co divers were fun. Food was awesome but wine was expensive. Saw a wide variety of sea life.

Great dives, great food, great staff.
Dives were so much fun. The dive masters were relaxed but still took care of us without babying us. After every dive, the crew would provide you with hot drinks and we were fed five times a day.

Second time for me
There are so many things about this trip, it is hard to state any one on its own, the crew were great and nothing and I mean nothing was to much hassel, and this applies to any time in the day or night. the diving was great too, there are so many reefs and all have their own unique personality if you can attibute that to a reef, for me it was the crew on the boat that made the difference and will be diving with them again.

Incredible: everything!
Marco the trip leader is a true professional and he and the rest of the staff bend over backwards to make it your best trip ever. The dive sites were good, avoiding the day trip boats very well. The food was out of this world, and the dorms were very comfy with softer beds and cold AC.

Boats and Pros: Exceeding Expectations, a Phinisi Story
The Phinisi exceeded expectations and beyond. The attention to every detail of the trip was amazing. My appreciation for the crew is unmeasurable bc they actually care. Fantastic food and no shortage of meals, saw all the marine things one could hope for, the quarters and boat were very comfortable, the rental gear was top notch and felt I was in good hands the entire trip. You know it’s the best when you don’t want to get off the boat. I hope I get another opportunity to dive with Phinisi and crew again someday. Thanks for the memorable experience! 10/10, A+, 5 stars.

This is one of my best experiences in my life. The boat was amazing. Cabins clean and very comfortable. Food was amazing, good mix between western and Thai food. Although we didn’t see any big fishes the diving was amazing. To do my AOW here was the best choice I’ve ever made. And all honor to my dive instructor, Ping. He made it so easy to complete my course, thank you. I’ll definitely come back sometime and will recommend this to all my dive buddy’s!

Super nice liveaboard on the Phinisi
The highlight of the trip was of course the whale shark, which we saw, only one 5 divers and no one else around, wonderful experience.
Recommended for
Everything worked perfectly. Although the ship is newly used as a safari boat, the crew (Thai as well as the rest) seemed very organized and helpful. The rental equipment is completely new and of high quality. In terms of safety, it's also great. Before each dive, a good briefing with important information. The dive groups were divided according to experience level, and adjusted after the check dive and possibly later. Nitrox always 32%.

I enjoyed my first trip to Thailand, I have dived in several locations in 2023, 5 locations and loved them all but my trip on the Phinisi was the best of all, loved the boat and the crew were great, and and yes once again loved the food. The dive sites were varied and great with plenty of life, on one trip had to push the fish out of the way so I could see my buddy.

Outstanding, such a hard-working crew, exceptionally high standards!
I cannot recommend the Phinisi as a liveaboard experience more enough - this was the most incredible and professional liveaboard I have been on. From the safety briefings, to the dive sites, to the food, the onboard pharmacy, the aesthetic of the wooden boat (with functional sails…!) it was all amazing. The crew are incredibly friendly, professional and fun - the boat is so spacious with lots of areas to hang out and have space from other members, and the cabins are all air conditioned with en suites and so comfortable! The diving was beautiful with Richieu Rock being a stand out dive site - highly recommend taking the crews advice and getting up early as the site can become crowded with lots of divers - but it is so worth it. We didn’t have as many big fish i.e. mantas, whale sharks but we went early November which is slightly out of season - and sadly the water was very warm (the bigger fish liking cooler water). All in all an absolutely outstanding experience with the crew making the effort to put the sails up on our last day which was so special - and it truly is the most beautiful boat on the Andaman Sea!

My recent experience aboard this liveaboard surpassed all expectations and left me with memories to cherish for a lifetime. From the moment we stepped on board, we were greeted with warm hospitality and professionalism from the entire crew. The staff's extensive knowledge of the dive sites and dedication to safety reassured us throughout the trip, allowing us to focus entirely on the incredible diving experiences that awaited us. The liveaboard itself was a comfortable and well-equipped vessel, providing all the amenities one could need for a week-long dive excursion. Our cabins were meticulously maintained. The communal areas, including the lounge, dining area, and sundeck, were inviting spaces to relax and socialize with fellow divers between dives. But it was the diving that truly stole the show. Each day brought new and breathtaking underwater landscapes, from vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life to exhilarating drift dives along dramatic walls and pinnacles. The dive guides were knowledgeable and passionate about marine conservation, enriching our dives with fascinating insights into the underwater ecosystem. One highlight of our trip was the opportunity to embark on night dives, where we witnessed a whole new world come to life beneath the surface. The nocturnal marine creatures were nothing short of mesmerizing, providing an unforgettable experience that we'll cherish forever. Of course, no dive trip would be complete without delicious food to fuel our adventures, and the onboard chef certainly delivered. From hearty breakfasts to gourmet dinners, every meal was a culinary delight, with plenty of options to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions. In conclusion, my experience aboard The Phinisi Liveaboard exceeded all expectations, thanks to the exceptional crew, comfortable accommodations, and unforgettable diving adventures. I'll try once again!
The first liveaboard in my life. It was not too long and not too short, 5 days and 4 nights. Storm was coming but we didn't worry about that, because of the stable crew and dive masters. I just really recommend this if you are on your first trip. Above all Sai's cooking will block sea sickness, I swear.

awesome, even for a first-timer.
My personal achievement of being able to deploy a SMB. Better bouyancy. First time doing night dive (and not afraid of it). The ITININRY certainly facilitated all these, nice dive masters, and accomodating guests (we just laughed over it someone made mistakes like forgetting the masks or went into the waters without fins)

Great time all around.
