We highly recommend the trip, the boat and the crew
There were two of us for 6 nights in We were completely satisfied. Everything was well organized from transfer, check-in, food, diving to the return transfer. The team was super well-rehearsed.Someone from the crew was always there immediately if you needed help. Everyone was always very friendly. The boat has always anchored nearby or moored to the buoy. Then short Zodiac ride to the dive site. Our dive guide immediately adapted to us; always had everything under control. When many other groups were on the road, he made sure that we were very close to him and otherwise left us alone according to the respective experiences. Nevertheless, he kept showing us many things that we might have overlooked otherwise, e.g. tiny nudibranchs but also sharks etc. in blue water. He was also able to assess the residual air very well. The divers were divided into 4 groups so there was no stress and no space problems etc when getting ready or returning. We were a maximum of 5 guests in our group. The groups changed the order daily. There were lists of who was in which group and the respective order of who was allowed in the Zodiac. The crew had also organized this very well. The respective daily schedule with times as well as everything previous and the dive sites planned for the current day were also posted. Each diver had his equipment at a festival. The tanks were refilled immediately after diving. Nitrox was also possible. The oxygen content of the cylinder was always analyzed before each dive. The food was very tasty, varied and if you wanted, you could eat Thai food alone. Right after each dive, a small soft drink was served as soon as we got from the Zodiac to the boat; each time a different one, e.g. matcha tea, cocoa, sorbet. There was enough space on the boat, both for eating and relaxing. Eating was always possible under the awning or in the saloon. Cabins were also sufficiently large with enough storage space. There were two of us with two others in a four-person cabin and we could cut it in half with curtains in case one wanted to read and another wanted to sleep. There were no problems with the others in the cabin. Everyone was practically only in the cabin to sleep anyway. Sleeping was also possible on deck, if the boat did not exceptionally sail at night. The highlight for us was the dive site Richelieu Rock.

Great time on the Junk Liveaboard
Great Liveaboard on the Junk. The boat is amazing and the staff also. The diving was well planned. The best thing i think was the food. Congrats to the Cook Lady because her food was Michelin Star quality. I had a great time.

A wonderful dive trip on The Junk
The Junk is a beautiful old ship with a very special charm – we felt comfortable from the very first moment. The crew was simply amazing and spoiled us in every possible way: always friendly, attentive, and perfectly organized. The dives were a real highlight, especially thanks to Kwan as our guide. With him, we felt safe at all times, and he showed us so many incredible things – you can immediately tell how experienced and dedicated he is. The food was absolutely delicious and varied – a real treat after the dives! The cabins are small, but perfectly adequate. We stayed in a four-berth cabin, although two of us usually slept outside, which was much nicer. We also really enjoyed the two excursions, especially the visit to the Moken Village, which was something truly special. All in all, a fantastic experience that we would repeat anytime. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special liveaboard trip with a great crew, amazing dives, and delicious food! 🌊🤿🚤 If you want, I can also tweak the tone a bit (shorter, more “TripAdvisor style,” or more polished).

A Fantastic First Liveaboard Journey to the Similan and Surin Islands
This was my very first liveaboard trip and also my first time exploring the Andaman Sea, including the breathtaking Similan and Surin Islands. The entire experience was truly fantastic, thanks to the amazing crew who made everything smooth and enjoyable. The crew were incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with every dive—from setting up equipment to guiding the descent and ascent, and doing it all over again with patience and care. All equipment was organized neatly in properly allocated spaces, which made everything feel safe and well-managed, something I really appreciated. The food on board was delicious and perfect for refueling after each dive. It truly felt like the classic “dive, eat, sleep, repeat” lifestyle—simple, fulfilling, and unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this liveaboard to others, and I sincerely hope to return again for more diving adventures!
